Didn't Kosta include photos of stigmata-like burn makes on the palms of his hands which he claimed were a result of his nei kung practice in one of his books? Although actual bleeding is pretty crazy - assuming the video is legit of course. I've seen a video claiming to set a candle on fire with energy (as well as a cotton ball soaked in a flammable fluid), but iirc the setup was pretty suspicious and most people wrote it off. In the end, it's a pretty pointless exercise, you just can't prove anything with video footage either way. Although I have a hard time imagining why someone would go to the effort of anonymously faking such a thing - what do they gain out of it?

When you say 'spheres' exactly how big do you mean? Out of nowhere about 2 - 3 weeks ago I started noticing bright white sparks flickering in and out of existence across the sky whenever I looked upwards during the daytime. Watching hundreds of these sparks swirl around is quite captivating, but I've got no idea what they are other than a comment I remember a teacher making about 'sparks of etheric energy' or somesuch a while back. Is that the same as what you're describing?

What I want to know is how all the 'power is evil/power corrupts/power is an unworthy thing to work towards' people feel about martial arts? Power is power, right? And energetic power can be put to much more diverse use and much greater good than the ability to punch through someones skull. How is working to develop yourself energetically any worse than working to develop yourself martially?

There's veritas, which is mostly dead now days, but for a while it was a pretty decent place, and they still have an awesome article section covering a wide range of topics (yoga, qi gong, hermetics, parapsychology, philosophy, etc). Other than that, my experience is no, at least not public ones. The problem with forums for discussing spirituality is that they fill up with people who like discussing spirituality, not practicing it

I didn't think he actually obliterated the entire village, nuke style, just went through and used "energy blasts" to kill the people one by one. Which is still pretty unbelievable. Personally, I'm rather skeptical of it as well. Remember, we're taking the authors word for it, and he's speaking to JC through a translator iirc. Things could easily get distorted and exaggerated that way.

Recruit a few interested, open minded scientists and work on putting together a more exact understanding of the metaphysical/energetic aspect of existence. Keep practicing for the purpose of spiritual evolution, throw in as much healing/teaching as possible on the side.

Meh, it's meaningless to debate when neither of us have access to the facts behind the aura thing.

Giving in to a momentary animalistic rage after being pushed to the brink is hardly the same as being a genocidal dictator. Anyway there's no way to prove whether the 'special aura' does or doesn't relate to moral development, but my point is that even Hitler or Genghis Khan aren't going to get past the early stages without it.

My point is that he didn't end up traveling to Universities to demonstrate before physics departments, etc etc. like Kosta had wanted and like I described would be necessary. He did the brief demonstration you described then bailed on the whole 'proving the existence of Chi' endeavor (or possibly it just fell by the wayside after he cut off the white dudes, I don't know).

Technically JC wasn't an exception since he ended up bailing out after only doing the brief testing that ended up on youtube. From what I remember, he never actually went beyond that like they had planned.

Whatever it is he's doing there, it doesn't look healthy.
