  1. making small talk

A: Hi how are you, B: Good, and you? A: Good. A: Smile and walk away. Just adapt to everyday situations.
  2. Relying On No-one But Yourself

I tell people about my cultivation in the hopes that it can inspire others. I wish to tell them of a place that I once was and no longer am. I don't parade as someone who is better; but I just try and show how it can help in daily life. I share with the purpose of helping. Solitude is the only path you can take.
  3. I believe in just healthy habits. Which all revolve around you. This means waking up early, exercising, eating well and so on. This allows you to be productive at your own life goals and maintain responsibilities with ease. This doesn't mean you cannot have fun and enjoy life; if anything it gives you more clarity in life. As for what others think; that's their perception. Don't listen to their words and work on yourself.
  4. Dr. Phil is not my guru

Thanks for teaching me about the Nocebo effect.
  5. Dr. Phil is not my guru

    2. i don't watch tv.
  6. This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness. ~Dalai Lama
  7. Any weight lifters here?

Try a 1 hour yoga class. My gym offers anti-gravity free yoga. My recommendation is: Ashtanga Yoga It's the closest thing I've come to as per weights. Your post just made me laugh, thanks.
  8. Fasting

    Intermittent fasting
  9. What would you ask a master?

    What color is the sky?
  10. It's just a question. Don't assume absolutes please.
  11. It was a question in which you decided to answer it. That does not mean the question was answered.
  12. The question wasn't meant to be answered. This is just word of mouth being passed down for "x" amount of years. What people say changes after telling 1 person. Now imagine thousand of years. If you are alive now; live. When death comes; it will come.
  13. At some point, do all these sought out teachings, forum posts, topics, information, knowledge remain useful? Does this information we try to gather become redundant? The more you seek answers on how to walk; the less you will walk. If you are lost and have no starting point then direction is beneficial; even crucial. We look on others to lean on. To meet and understand those who have arrived. To look to another for answers, techniques, methods in search of personal achievement/enlightenment. How can we learn when we are unwilling to walk ourselves?
  14. Taoism, Primal, Nature

I try to eat almost everything. A rule I'm trying to implement in my habits: I stay away from things with 10+ ingredients (on the label). I've cut out sugars (almost) I always choose organic if possible. There are grown vegetables in my backyard. It's all a process of learning what you like. I have days when I eat terribly (my cheat days). Experiment and don't be so restrictive on yourself.
  15. Heads = Enlightenment , tails = unenlightened. I flipped a coin 7 times, and it finally landed on heads. Enlightened ✓
  16. Struggling and Seeking the Truth

Be lost and directionless. There is no need your natural state. There is no destination. Simply be and watch all that comes. There is no need to do anything.
