Zen Sutrayana Approach to Recognizing Unfabricated Presence
Yascra replied to RongzomFan's topic in Buddhist Discussion
It is very, very poor that you lie about such things just because you enjoy splitting people. But you know .. and I'm just making this clear for other participants writing and reading here .. openly admitting that you've been lying all the time, and then even being proud about that .. well, speaks for itself, right. I seriously hope others will be able to draw their conclusions as well. It is bad to consciously decide to do wrong things. And you know about it. If you know ANYTHING more than the quotes from your weak idol, you'll have read some of the stuff telling you about karmic recompense for some of the things you're doing here. I personally don't care whether you regret anything or not. Pay for it is something you'll do anyway. Not that this was my decision. It's just how things work in the real world. I'd advice you to make more careful decisions in the future. -

You'd really better work on getting your ass out of hell, boy. I think you've no idea what you're doing here. And slandering advanced practicioners of the past is not even the worst about it. -

Oops. I wasn't aware that you're really making up topics about things you yourself consider "fictious". I for my part am not talking about theory and fantastic stories. So what about rainbow body, is that also fiction to you? I pity you, dear, but I'm afraid noone's gonna be able to help you unless you really start practicing and experience that some things you might consider fantasy are very, very real. But, well, if fiction is your basis for discussing these topics, I think I'm out of here. All the best anyway -

Look, there are persons who contribute informations to discussions to allow a more complete view of the whole topic. It might seem strange to you, but not every post has some kind of a purpose in a more than obvious sense of trying to heighten duality or manipulate others in any way. -

Oh, I don't need to believe anything. I actually know what all paths aim for. -

Uhm, actually it doesn't. It bores me. Edit: But my background is not sutrayana, just for your information. My way was more like Typical Western culture -> Atheism -> Christianity -> -> Western Magic -> Vajrayana -> influences from Zen, Taoism, Esoteric Buddhism Western education in parallel. Something like this. -

Well, in this case I actually have a link for you. Ever heard of Dilgo Khyentse? http://www.nyingma.com/dzogchen1.htm By the way ... with this teaching by him we're right back to topic.. and not a single word about rainbow bodies -

I think I did already ask you according to how many sutras you practiced till now, and I think you didn't answer, right? So .. how many Sutras did you READ, at least, before you concluded that you're much more qualified to judge some things than people who work with these? Did you ask yourself how many Sutras your other-board-source did read before drawing his conclusions? That are not theoretical things, you know. Being able to reflect such things is the foundation of correct contemplation practice. So it actually tells a LOT if s.thing like this does obviously never happen. -

Actually I think that, if this guy wants to discuss things over here, he should get an account on himself instead of having others speak for him, you know, and speaking for someone who can't say anything towards this is actually not very fair towards this person. On the other hand, if you want to do some fan stuff, I'd recommend you to do this on this particular other board. Thanks in advance. -

Well, a teachers attainments don't secure any disciples understanding, and believing due to some kind of authority, especially in our times, is for fools who care so little about those they should liberate that they don't even look whether some kind of metal is precious at all, let alone test a teacher like you would test gold. Actually I know what I'm talking about concerning Sutras, as I know quite some of them that may even lead you to liberation if received with an open mind, let alone "refined states", and definitely more refined states than some Tantra practicioners ever reach. They are a link to one's true nature, and many may lead you to this true nature in a secure way. Tantra stuff may just be a link to some magical power, in some cases at least. Nothing of value to someone who knows he or she will loose his or her memory as well as body when undergoing physical death. There is no such thing as a fixed state. Rainbow body is no exception to this. edit: Well, but we're going off topic, so maybe BTT -

What's the point about quoting the mess some guy from another board wrote, and that even more than once? Has he attained rainbow-body? -

In my experience they are not. How many of them did you try before coming to this conclusion? -

Tummo fire practice has stages. -
Hm, I'm doing general ties-breaking practice, and got some help from others to solve some things. Concerning ritual stuff for this purpose I know mainly New-Age-approaches, and I'm not willing to practice things of which I know that they are based on ignorance, superstition and lack of experience. So - no, though I agree it might be helpful in some cases. But in general things are getting better at the moment.

Hi there Hm, I'd add: AFTER some trial phase and extremely careful analysis of that path. If I wouldn't have changed paths after examination for some months several times during the last 3 years I would now be busy with cursing people, training myself to kill animals without feeling pity or mercy and would spend my time manipulating and systemically hurting or destroying people, not to forget "exploring the dark side of the kabbalah" lol So that's okay as an instruction AFTER you have carefully examined a path. But sticking to something detrimental although you already now that it is, is a direct ticket to hell, I suppose, and one of the worst things you could ever do on your way.

Depends on the person, their interest, motivation, background and experience. But it's a nice idea, maybe I'll make a chart for some options

Getting used to the habit of trying to move your internal energy with thoughts/force maybe? Well, somewhat more seriously, as far as I know it's one of those "imitating the result to reach high goals" things. So past practicioners experienced energy movements during their practice while advancing, so people had the idea that they might advance by inducing such circulations. If you ask me it's like the trial to imitate the functioning of a fountain by using your hands to throw water in the air in order to understand the fountain. You may indeed learn s.thing about fountains and water if you do it regularly and with clear and honest observation and reflection about what's really happening, but depending on your personal capabilities to learn this way you might never find out how a fountain really works, and later even stick to the idea that hands are necessary to make water move at all. Something like this

Lol, liking your own posts? Well, you know .. it's pityable that there seem to be buddhist schools that consider form attainments to be enlightenment. At least the Zen school still contains the knowledge that this ain't so. I expect your teacher for a talk in my room, btw, send him my invitation for 7:30 pm. If he doesn't appear you might do this yourself, but if both of you skip that opportunity, I think I'll draw my conclusions ;-) European time, just if your clairvoyance shouldn't be sufficient to be aware of this ;-) -

Ok, in other words, hearsay, justified by authority. The source doesn't matter. What matters is whether you've tested things yourself and found them to be correct, worthwhile.. whatever criteria might be relevant for the particular question. -

And you know this so well because you are at the moment practicing this system and have full memory of every single live during this eons, or are you just making a sandstorm out of hearsay, using the possibility to insult practicioners of an "opposed" school on the way? -
Well, the best demonstration of understanding is correct application, I guess. Good N8 to you
