I think problem is that there ate 2 Mao Shan schools.One is real old school known as Shang Qing Pai (nor part of Zheng Yi) and other is Southern Mao Shan Pai which is later creation. Looks that Master Yan Xing is along Master Pang Ming the best and most powerfull Qi Gong healer. I dont know if his method is more Buddhist or Daoist as I didnt be able to see all the levels of the system. My friend recently meet him and I wait for some news. Is that not strange that Yan Xin and Pang Ming can heal some many people and do the wonders and that so famous Nei Dan not curing single one person but instead they got some health issue? Are Ling Bao Bi Fa and Yin Xian Fa are translated on English? Can someone post again links for Shen Zhigang books ......links dont work now? This two books looks like complete instructions for Nei Dan and it is olderst Zhong Lu corpus even before Wuzhen Pian of Master Zhang Boduan.But there are some modern objections that Ling Bao Bi Fa are much younger book then we think and that real author is not Lu Dong Bin nor Zhongli Quan. This 2 books are not standard ciriculum of Longmen Pai and I find that only Master Wang Li Ping teach according to them. Some indications are that actualy Longmen Pai changed original Ling Bao Bi Fa and Secret of the Golden Flower and we have them now in this redaction. Does some hear for Ling Bao Ming? Ormus

I re-read this tread again.Jin Lian Pai posted some interesting links like also Seeker of Healing in some other tread regarding Buddhism. I dont know much about Buddhim except few conntacts with Bon Po Lamas and Dzogchen Lamas.I belived that Buddhism recive Daoist teachings when it started,obviously later Buddhim give something in return to Daoism. After reading here links related to some Lamas and Buddhist school unknow to me I got impression that there are some minor Buddhist school which maybe have methods like Nei Dan and can produce Immortals. Still I dont think that Yang Shen is the same as Diamond body of Dzogchen. Those who made Purple Elixir can enter and exit Wuji at Will and they have mutiple Yang Shens. Zhouyi Cantog Qi is originaly secret Wai Dan book(in original version still preserved),later 2 redactions try to interpret it as Nei Dan book and this is trend from VIII to XI century when we see formation period of Nei Dan as we know it.Nei Dan emerged as option for those who are not high level society or members of secret societys of Alchemysts and they say it is more safe,but we know that it is not so more safe as there are many dangers also like in laboratory Wai Dan. Wai Dan become dangerous not only in China but also Tibet and India and Europe in that time when secret teachings go underground and then people reading the books try to understand what is Materia Prima and using mutlple materials beacuse they didnt understand secret behind,so many people die and even Emperors. This is interesting topic about aims of true Nei Dan regarding bodys. For sure we know that Nei Dan produce Immortal Spiritual body(Yang Shen) which all schools claim. Some schools say it is posible to have Immortal physical body too,but some say it is not posible and it is not aim of Nei Dan. Answers is in the level of secret instructions that school have.For example you are not to find so easy Nei Dan school which have secret of Purple Elixir which is the highest level of Nei Dan,nor you are to find method how to embody just formed Yang Shen in physical body to preserve it......this fusion of two bodys is great secret. As we know if we read hagiographies of famous Immortals of the past they all have physical Immortal body and they also can ascend with it in day light......some cant do it at first try but must perform first Shijie....death by simulation with the fake corpse to trick spirits of Heaven using talisman and ritual and then to ascend. Some Daoist Masters because of this claim that Wai Dan(laboratory Alchemy) is suprime over Nei Dan because of this,you have Tang Shen but also physical Immortal body and you can choose how and when to ascend and in which body.Read Immortal Master Ge Hong and all is to be clear. Dear A.A.Khokhlov, I agree that someone who whant to study Nei Dan need True Teacher and secret oral instructions Koujue.This is true also for other aspects of Daoism(like in religious-ritual Daoism). Here in the text point 8 is strange how it is Lu Dongbin work which mention Zhang Boduan when we know that Master Zhang comes later in time and generation? Point 9 Ge Hong speaks about Wai Dan(laboratory Alchemy) but I agree the same rules except blood are for Nei Dan. Few Nei Dan Masters(of many) with whom I speak say one importaint point .....and this is: True Teacher is the one who realised Golden Elixir,more precisly above it secret Purple Elixir and who have Yang Shen and stay here on earht to teach students.All others are not nor can be True Teacher because their still work on themselfs and their work is not finished,so they cant teach others because in this way blind leading the blind.How many are there such Teachers?I dont know I didnt meet anyone from that level.But I hear that even in China there are maybe few of them. And when I think about this it is correct because how someone posing as Master is to teach others and he himself still continue to transform Qi to Shen for example?And we see that all or almost all of Masters present in the west but also in China are still working on themselfs.What is to happen if such Master die by accident?Students left alone and cant go further,or if student somehow come to the level of Master by years,and Master stagnates on the same level.How student is to go further? So only realised ones with Yang Shen are True Teachers,others can be considered helpers or instructiors but not a Master. Our second biggest problem today is money......more precisly huge money that Masters ask.One of the highest authority of Daoism and Master of 1 level who live in USA(he dont practice Nei Dan but he know related older inner practices) told me in personal conversation that real Daoist Masters are not to ask you for 1 $ to teach you.It is free and it is only for accepted students who become like second son to the Master.Student can give on itself money and other valuables as exchenge of Virtue,but Master if accet student cant ask for money.He also say me that real Masters only have few students,and that today trend to have hundred students are just selling Daoism for dolars and all this is not traditional nor Master can observe and test all them nor to make clouse relationship with all this people. This book is great.But we need to remember that not all Nei Dan schools use it or accept it. Original version is recived by method of planchette.which is specific Spirit writing cult method.It is chanelling of Immortals,in this case of Lu Dong Bin.And one of the biggest secrets is that many famose Nei Dan works are transsmited by Spirit writing. Book is recived on Jingao Shan in Longmen Pai Temple.This branch of Longmen is the most esoteric and include in its practice some Hindu Tantra rituals(Vajra). Original version is keep today on Jingai Shan,and what we read is one of much later translations of one of few diferent versions.For exaple later Longmen branches changed the text to suit their practice. In the present time I only hear that Master Wang Li Ping teach according to this book. If it is only Xing Gong,then this is more Quanzhen approach because they claim that Xin and Xing Gong are more important and that one who do Xing Gong with success automaticaly fix Ming Gong of itself. This document from the first page belong to Zhong Lu Pai which was formation of Nei Dan and not school as we have them now.It is very important text which is used later mostly by Quanzhen Longmen Pai and Zhong Pai(central school founded by Master Li Daochun). Later we have other classifications ispired by Buddhism like 3 Vechiles of Longmen Pai,with something similar classification of Master Liu I-Ming from Longmen Pai who speak about higher and lesser virtue and in one way he mention what this 2 options have as methods and criticise similary other side minor methods. I like to know did Wu Liu Pai also used and work according to other documents from this tradition as for example Ling Bao Bi Fa? Ormus

I think that the problem is that people here didnt recive much formation about WLP and YXP.Precisly stages of work,names of method and technics.No one ask for disclosure of secrets,but I think if schools can provide some basic sceleton how one got from preparation till finish this is to be great.And also what unique if any methods exsist in this schools.Like why and how they are diferent from Longmen Pai? Daogong mentioned I see that it is new method like Qi Gong or Yang Sheng created by Dao De centar in Russia for preparation of western students and it is not part of preparation for WLP and YXP.So I hope there is reason why they introduced it at start.For new one this can be important but for those who practice Qi Gong and Nei Gong for years can be boring. Antoher topic I see here is that members of this forum try to understand WLP from standpoint of Qianfeng Pai and Master Zhao Bi Chen.As we see this is of little help because in my opinion WLP changed from the time of Zhao Bi Chen.How it changed?I think Opendao say one crucial info that they have old method of Nanzong Pai(Souther school of Immortal Master Zhang Boduan) which included pair cultivation Yin Yang Shuang Xiu.This method as far as I know didnt belonged to Longmen Pai,nor Chan Buddhism nor WLP in the time of Zhao Bi Chen.And actualy this is the biggest secret of Nei Dan it is real old Ming Gong and Long Hu Bi Fa. It is real strange that such Master die suddenly.People promoted him as realy great and even one of Immortals. John Chang from Mo Pai also die and we can as young. Qi Gong,Nei Gong and Nei Dan are to prolong life even if someone have health problems.So many questions regarding their real practice. Ormus

In real Nei Dan we need to eliminate emotions,desire......so to not move Yuan Jing to transform to Post Natal Jing.If it become Post Natal Jong and we try to stop ejaculating we can get in trouble related to health.And such Jing cant be converted to Yuan Qi not we can produce Seed and Yellow Sprouts. It is realy hard to find Masters of pair cultivation(Yin Yang Shuang Xiu) which is diferent then Fangzhong Shu which dont recognise pre and post natal Jing but is concerned with fluids. Ormus

How is it posible that Wang teach Nei Dan on seminar when we know that student must to be near Master in clouse contact because problems can arise and Master need to fix it.Here I see that Wang students dont have contact with him after seminar but if they whant to see him again then need to wait that intermediary people make some seminar and student again need to give huge sum of dollars to meet him.What if problems arise in the meantime? All students progress diferently....how he can follow 500 of them to be able to know where are they and what they need next? There is talk about what he can perform but no one speak about his Yang Shen and signs of Xian he need to show like squere eyes,not eating(here someone mention that he eat meat). Did some see his photo from this or last year?Is it diferent then from 2000 ? Ormus
