  1. How to get spiritual without really trying

    @marblehead OC.
  2. How to get spiritual without really trying

I'm not Chuang tzu and neither are you. You take the time to post your emotions and irritance towards me but can't spare a mere few minutes to point out to my ignorant juvenile mind where I said such things? Wow. And here I thought you practiced a virtuous lifestyle Marblehead. Unless, you simply can't find where I said such things. Maybe some will soon come to realize that I am opening their narrow minds. As I too have a narrow mind and am wandering the detailed mind of the members here on TTB. I enjoy it. This is a learning experience. But most members here can't say they practice taoism and act like imbeciles. Or can they? Who am I to say?
  3. One "issue" I have with this site.

I love you too soaringcrane. I feel so much better. Seeing all the irritable narrow minded people being dealth with a whole Taoist view on their behaviors and this is how they act. Priceless.
  4. How to get spiritual without really trying

@rara Who says I expected anything? Keep these comments coming.
  5. How to get spiritual without really trying

@marblehead Oooh. It seems I've hit a nerve. So taoist. Hahahahahahaha. Tell me once where I have said we should act like something. Go ahead. Quote me. I'm fairly confident you won't respond. I'll be waiting. Your anger has blinded you towards me. Let's see how ignorant it will make you become.
  6. out of curiosity...(sleep related)

What does general chinese medicine and taoism have to say about the length of sleep? Obviously sleep when tired, but is there a more formal or suggested range? I see many topics discussing how Buddhist monks sleep a mere 4-6 hours. Typical western medicine says 8-10 depending on age (not that the USA is a leading healthcare expert LOL). Have you heard anything? I personally am thinking of clocking the 6-7 hour mark and taking naps if I feel tired.

    *ill practitioners
  8. How to get spiritual without really trying

To be realistic this site followers are very far from the core of taoism. I mean, that shows in this thread alone, not to mention many others. Look at ways to be virtuous, a superior person, read the TTC and the HHC. Then visit this site. I'm not saying its a bad thing these people try to be what they aren't and this obviously doesn't apply to everyone. But you can tell this is a extremely hypocritical forum and I can see why people come and go. You have god like scholars, hypocrites, liars, I'll practitioners and more and I haven't even met the majority of the user base. I applaud people for trying but honestly don't just call yourself a taoist and then never act like one. Sounds like Christians. Sheesh. Peace to those that are trying to improve and don't throw around the word taoist in the same insane vein that Christians do.
  9. One "issue" I have with this site.

I didn't expect thelerner to come back. Big suprise .
  10. One "issue" I have with this site.

@rara Oh I know. that's why I said issue like "issue" lol.
  11. One "issue" I have with this site.

@thelerner Also, you do realize true taoists can practice the philosophical side, yes? So not only does the true understanding of the "scope" of taoism elude you, but you seem irritated with my prescense. No duality buddy.
  12. One "issue" I have with this site.

@thelerner How cute. I adore your confusion. Name one time I lectured and name one time I have been "prejudice". Enlighten me. BTW: Zen= Taoism + Buddhism And don't get mad. That's when people become irritable and lose the concept of their argument.
  13. One "issue" I have with this site.

@soaringcrane I see where our misunderstanding lies then. What you feel is "all" the taoist practices is far different then what I find as "all" taoist practices. For example, basing my own interpretation of the TTC and HHC I don't believe in sitting meditation. However that's something that's commonly used and taught within taoist practices today. That would be part of your "all". Not mine.
  14. Finally something that suggests mindfulness?

So using that last statement its pretty safe to say taoist mindfulness is thinking and or being aware of each subtlety that's used in any way, shape, or form.
  15. Finally something that suggests mindfulness?

So Marblehead would you agree that the statement suggests mindfulness?
  16. How to get spiritual without really trying

@icedude Man I'm really starting to like you. It appears so many peoples rectums are too tight here. I got a laugh out of it. Just ignore the people that are taking jabs at you. I guess they feel that they have to be white knights of taoism (which is cool I guess.) Anything to stir up the serious, scholar like know it all attitude that on this site I support.
  17. One "issue" I have with this site.

@icedude Just an FYI I haven't ever claimed to know anything about anything. But if you feel my words are worthy of study who am I to stop you?
  18. One "issue" I have with this site.

    @yascra Semantics.
  19. One "issue" I have with this site.

@icedude He gets it man, he gets it. /sarcasm
  20. One "issue" I have with this site.

@thelerner Nice job, being a taoist and all. So very kind. So kind.
  21. One "issue" I have with this site.

@thelerner I said it was a "issue" not a problem. Don't get mad.
  22. One "issue" I have with this site.

But then, we cannot come to this forum and say nothing and then complain that no one talks with us. @marblehead I've made quite a few topics and said quite a bit. Not only that but your rebuttal doesn't apply to this topic. I never said anything about any of that lol.
  23. ... I literally have tried hundreds of different things to no avail.
  24. Just exist man. Don't worry about it. No one thing, person, voice etc. Can tell YOU what is. You live, create, die, or move on. Or all of that.
  25. TBH, this site is quite useless in taoist forms.

I don't allow anything. I'm not in charge of anything.
