  1. TBH, this site is quite useless in taoist forms.

Some serious folks here. "Make some posts and change it" Damn dude! Chill the fuck out!
  2. TBH, this site is quite useless in taoist forms.

    @aetherous gets it!!!
  3. What does awareness mean?

@decibelle I don't know how else to say this but I have NO IDEA what the flying fuck you are saying 99% of the time.
  4. TBH, this site is quite useless in taoist forms.

@rainbowvein One who is hard core at taoism.
  5. TBH, this site is quite useless in taoist forms.

    @greytowhite Ya unfortunately.
  6. Ok! I think I got it!

My relentless onslaught towards thoughts have been solved. Correct me if I'm wrong: since I've began studying zen and Buddhism I have had the wrong idea on what to do with thoughts. Taoism: let the thoughts flow naturally but do not give them any value or attachment. Buddhism: cancel all thoughts. Zen: cancel all thoughts.
  7. Ok! I think I got it!

some people recognize the fact that you are all over the hell and creation with your ceaseless questions and demands for simple, nutshell answers which will make it all clear and convenient for you. And those people recognize the futility of giving you more direct information. And to claim that people's 'metaphors' make no sense to themselves is again a tremendous insult. You may not be equipped with the cognitive skills necessary to discern meaning from metaphor, but that problem lies squarely with you. ................................. I never said they never DONT Make sense to them. I haven't made one single demand, and I do practice all I have learned. Because I don't strut around on a internet forum answering peoples questions with long mindless metaphorical stories doesn't mean a thing. And I don't have cognitive skills. Hm? Maybe you should take the tao the Ching's advice and turn your attention inward before criticizing others. According to my statement it seems you should revise your reading and comprehension statute. Maybe I've shown you a light you have yet to see. Not only that but I feel not only comfortable and subtle in my daoist studies but I do not fear any humiliation. I've tried to word all my questions in a direct manner as seeing how it is difficult to translate the eastern thought process to my juvenile adult mind. Not that I needed to inform you of any of this, but I feel that I should try to help you understand my reasoning (also a re direct from the TTC).
  8. Ok! I think I got it!

Seems soaringcrane has been lost with words. How convenient.
  9. Ok! I think I got it!

@soaringcrane You claim to be a taoist yet your last statement goes directly against what we teach. I enjoy the company of hypocrites.
  10. Ok! I think I got it!

@soaringcrane Well since you know me so well you seem to put a lot of time and energy into proving me wrong. Let's see what you do now. I'm intrigued.
  11. "Minor Death" in Longmen Pai

Let's not stay on topic guys. Haha.
  12. As we all know Ding Meditation is a focused meditation. How would one "focus" on what they are doing without being mindful (in the Buddhist sense). Let's not overcomplicate it, simple question, simple answers.
  13. I received a death threat.

Can I trust In tao to keep me safe? I know we don't know what tao is exactly but I have read that the tao flows through us all. Can I trust in tao?
  14. Ok! I think I got it!

Without a doubt I'm over thinking them. Its the hardest for me. I've been clinically diagnosed with a HIGH level of OCD. hence my findings into taoism. Due to OCD I spend 4-8 hours a day focusing on each and everything about taoism. Learning EVERY aspect and putting it all into practice. I feel I've done extremely well but I'm completely blocked at the thoughts. That's the only thing left for me to conquer and it will be the most difficult due to my handicap. Unfortunately some people consider themselves to be wise sages and give me metaphors and one liners that make 0 sense to myself and themselves. Thank you @zanshin for giving me the simplest answer I've received yet. I need to look at this in its most basic form or my OCD overcomplicates and extends the general problems.
  15. What websites do visit often?

    I'm a big fan of video games. Kotaku.com Gamefaqs.com Giantbomb.com N4g.com Ign.com Thetaobums.com CNN.com YouTube.com What are yours?
  16. Ok! I think I got it!

Well this is true. I guess I should've said to "relinquish as many thoughts as possible and realize they will come back".
  17. I personally only use this one. I'm a philosophical taoist and I'm looking for any websites that follow suit. I try to avoid blogs because of the robot tone and over influenced writing. Any ideas? Which do you go to?
  18. What are some taoist websites my fellow practitioners go to?

Right on @chidragon. Too bad I can't read that. Are there any dedicated sites you go to? Not just searches and or a wiki page?
  19. I received a death threat.

He didn't do that at all. Tao is unexplainable. Simple. I put faith that it will guide myself and others to safety. Whether it be a god, force, or a supreme illusion.
  20. I received a death threat.

  21. I received a death threat.

Law enforcement was notified. They did nearly nothing. The force that flows through us all will be reprimanded. You reap what you sew. I did as I was told and have done nearly nothing wrong. The tao will grant me peace.
  22. I received a death threat.

I do as well. I mean threats are threats because they aren't performing the action. If they were gonna do it, they wouldn't talk about it. The tao flows through us all. I am good and they are bad. Yin, yang.
  23. I received a death threat.

@silentthunder True. But I feel any good actions I've dome thoroughout my life should grant me some serenity, no?
  24. I received a death threat.

@aetherous Could go either way honestly. Drama between unstable people.
  25. How would you suggest I apply Ding Meditation to everyday life?
