Mystique Enigma

Reminds me of a small story ..... To a traveler who asked how he could tell a true Master from a false one the Master said shortly, "If you are not yourself deceitful, you will not be deceived." To his disciples the Master later said, "Why do seekers assume that they themselves are honest and all they need is a test to detect deceit in Masters?"

When the breath fades In Autumn shades Does one sit silent To admire the blaze? When the sun light shines And darkness fades Is it the mind that sleeps Or life that awakes ? Is it butterflies one’s chase Or the life one desires Forgetting to realize The breath’s on fire ? When emotions play And the mind goes astray Does the moment fade Or is it a life that’s erased ? May be the questions Are irrelevant to mind Cause ones life is curtailed To a ‘self’ righteous mind And so the wind blows Undaunted and Free As one stands silent The mind is set free

Egoistic I am, yet humble at heart Soft of voice, the gentle kind Talented maybe, quite hard to say A ‘Human Being’ I do proclaim Heaven knows what makes me tick How I long for love & peace True to words sometimes I lie To understand me just live my life
