very good. man's virtue 人德 which means the normal regular human virtue. not some kind of a fancy neidan virtue as you claim. Because this quote absolutely does not imply that there is some kind fancy neidan virtue to be manufactured through neidan process as you claim. Of course it is and that De is the normal regular human virtue. not some kind new fancy neidan virtue as you claim because everyone and everything already possesses a piece of Dao inherently.

no problem at all but if so, then whats the point of talking about something we do not know what we are talking about? Besides there is no 'something different De' in 仙佛合宗语录 Recorded Sayings on the Common Tradition of Buddhas and Saints. So claim that there is a different De in neidan makes no sense all around.

it would be more clear what is it if you gave a concrete example as to what it is and what does it do. because without a concrete example it makes no sense

thats true. DDJ has nothing to do with facts. Because different groups of people have their own unique realities. -

this website says it is the other way around 呂祖曰:「只修命,不修性,此是修行第一病;只修祖性不修丹,萬劫陰靈難入聖」。 https://www.shengxiantang.com.tw/product_detail.php?p_id=546 Probably they are confused. -

Excellent conclusion! Of course we can. Because thats what the "real neidan masters (TM)" do. And of course the "real neidan masters (TM)" do not need any stinking understanding, linguistic or otherwise. -
a shaman is weaker than the spirits. it is the spirits who tell him what to do. Priests/wu are stronger than the spirits. they boss the spirits around.
-
of course it is . westerners do not understand what a shaman does and how it is different from 巫. 子曰:「南人有言曰:『人而無恆,不可以作巫醫。』

A Conversation with ChatGPT about spiritual practice, no-mind, neidan and emotions
Taoist Texts replied to Geof Nanto's topic in Daoist Discussion
I knew this topic was hilarious. I just did not realize how much. Earlier i said that the bot's prose was meaningless verbiage expected from an automated bot or a live neidan teacher. Then i searched the verse lines containing liver and marrow both on google and baidu. No results found for "兔髓的智慧". No results found for "烏肝兔髓同一體". No results found for "兔髓智慧". No results found for "烏肝是黑暗". No results found for "髓骨是明亮". Yes you guessed it right. The bot does not give you any real 'Daoist neidan verses'. It just makes up some meaningless crap. Hilarious yet? -

instead of blasphemously derailing an ephemerous thread. we can always start a new thread wholly dedicated to an acrimonious battle of wits over figments of our imagination. just saying. -

well the bot's answers are is what we in the comp science refer to as GIGO ( i am dating myself here hehe). It harvests nonsense from amateurish websites and spews it out in grammatically correct insipid sentences https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garbage_in,_garbage_out as to the papyrus, there are multiple pages on it from where to harvest the verbiage https://tinyurl.com/43b8zaju as to the Egyptian tradition and neidan, they do not overlap, in fact they have opposite goals. In the egyptian tradition first you need to do no evil during your earthly life, then you must use some evasive manoeuvres in the afterlife and you are all set. As such it is comparable to the Tibetan Bardo Book or the Pythagorean tradition. Neidan is emphatically different. -

problem encountered in practice zhan zhuang
Taoist Texts replied to kevvv's topic in Daoist Discussion
nah you gonna be fine. just temporarily switch to sitting practice, do Mantak's body hitting on the affected area, spine stretching, maybe left hand bag punching. The idea is to remove the external pressure from around the area while increasing the internal pressure in the area. -

the surgeries prevent "jin 劲" coming up the left side. thats why the left side is crushed by the surrounding jin from the rest of the body。 You can try the right leg weighted stance as in san tishi while resting the left hand on a support. http://www.ycgf.org/Articles/XY_SanTiShi/XY_SanTiShi.html or sitting. -

It would be funny to note that this verbal garbage is similar to what the neidan entrepreners sell. Then i could chuckle how the entrepreneurs talk nonsense as if they were chatbots. Except it is not similar. It is exactly the garbage harvested by the chatbot from the neidan-selling websites. Meaning the entrepreneurs were the chatbots before chatbots. I am not sure funny is quite the right word here. -

he has some verbiage on dantian which is good. he is gung-ho on shaolin and chen taichi which is pretty bad. All in all he is par for the course although overpriced. All you gonna learn is some external moves which is ok for starters. -
On the nature and utility of 'goal posts' in meditative and energetic practice

Halo Michael. Thats good to know, thanks. I am probably mistaken. Would you happen to know the names of the mco or the channel in the native languages? -
On the nature and utility of 'goal posts' in meditative and energetic practice
Taoist Texts replied to Wilhelm's topic in General Discussion
i love naths because they have a very colorful (and at times hilarious) medieval epic ‘Gorakh vijaya’ (‘Victory of Gorakṣa’) on their guru. However in that and other indian traditions they do not use the MCO, only the back half of it, the Kundalini, which is an incomplete MCO. Because they cant complete it, the tongue curls in a spasm of the khechary-mudra. It is actually a deviation. Like any deviation of course it is also a sign of achieving something. the MCO goes through the front teeth, thats where the tip of the tongue should be for the chest and back halves of the MCO to connect. the dew is supposed to be digested, just in a special way. because its a very;) special thing. -
absolutely positively does not.
