    no i have not seen any at all) Verdesi is a proven fraudster Yes it is fake too. As to the bull show - dont even know where to begin explaining why it is fake. How one explains that the shell game is a fraud? Its obvious that the bull is tied head first into the bushes and fence so those watching the video are not able to see what is done to it. I totally believe that it is real for you.

    7-10 years ago there was a spate of such demonstrations, on mainland and Taiwan, mostly on cows, by the scammers, aimed at the western and local qigongers. A Taiwan newspaper even did an expose on it. From what i gathered the cows were implanted with either a remote controlled electric shocker or a poison syringe. Cows were selected due to their large bodies which make implantation unnoticeable.

    yes. it was never the goal. what happened with the so called stage of the 'earth immortality' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xian_(Taoism) is that westerners misunderstood it as to be a physical body living on physical earth, while in the original Taoism it meant a spiritual existence (still burdened by some material trappings) on a lower plane of spiritual realms.

    Not choose. One can only get stuck in it for a while out of necessity, not being yet ready for the spiritual level, progressing towards it, till the mother-ship calls you home.

    I disagree, because i saw plenty of folk who expressly believe themselves to be just mortal flesh, but that's all right i was just clarifying your point of view. depends what you mean by like, but yes we talk about religion which opposite of materialism no. according to the chinese, the purpose is to become a god.

    Good for you Stosh! But what do you mean "everyone can"? There are such people as materialists and atheists you know. They can not and will not.

    Yes, that would be one comprehensive reason as to why neidan is only a small part of Taoism. Except the neidaneers are not buying that. For a child with a hammer everything is a nail, for a neidaneer everything is neidan. Why is that? Because westerners are materialists. Materialists can only comprehend materialism. And neidan, which they perceive to be a materialistic, godless energetic exercise, is the only part of Taoism they can accept. Because the rest of Taoism is obviously religious, and materialists will have none of that. They will either ignore the rest of Taoism, or will try and reduce it to materialism, i. e neidan. Billions of lay Chinese who worshiped Taoist gods never ever heard of neidan, millions of Taoists priests who officiated in Taoists temples may have heard of neidan never practicing it. Because the Chinese have their gods, while neidaneers have nothing.

The westerners have a schizophrenic approach to eastern arts: "The chinese are smarter than us because they have the arts that we want to learn; but the Chinese are stupider than us because their arts contain lots of unnecessary bits which we will just chuck out and learn the practical bits". 'We will learn from the Chinese, but we are smarter than them'. Its like buying not the whole car but just the front seat and the steering wheel. E.g the "practical taichi". You see, the traditional taichi was not practical, it had lots of nonsense, we are smart, we make it practical. Naturally they end up with a cargo-cult
