  1. I have looked at other QI gong healers fee's and rarely does anyone charge more than 100 dollars for a session. Chunyi Lin charges something like 180 dollars. I believe your fee is about 100 dollars Ya Mu? Two of the most well known healers are charging 10-20% of this person. I read something in your book about being wary of teachers charging exorbitant prices and that their energy may be tainted by greed. I'm all for people making a living, but as the healing session is so expensive I cannot seem to make sense of it, so I though I would ask here. As I have mentioned, I have considered paying the fee, but would be crushed if it did not help, as it is so much money for me.
  2. I'm experimenting with some of the practices in the book, Relaxing Into Your Being. I have a few questions that I hope some more experienced practitioners can answer: With the dissolving practice do you always place the tongue on the roof of the mouth? When Dissolving, do you combine the practice with the internal breathing exercises, or can you do the two separately? Do you keep some attention on the LDT when dissolving, or just let your mind scan for blockages? How much time do you spend dissolving a particular blockage before moving on, and how long do you take to do a full scan of the body before starting at the top of the head again? Thanks.
  3. Cheers, I now have a better understanding of the dissolving process
  4. Thanks Rob, that is helpful.
  5. The process of dissolving seems much more subtle and open to interpretation than the breathing exercises, and is not covered in as much detail in the book.
  6. Thanks for your reply Malik. I have the breathing and tao of letting go CD's. I have a better grasp of the breathing meditations than the dissolving process. Although there is some good info in the books and CD's the dissolving process seems more difficult to get my head around.
  7. It seems that the majority are in Asia (unsurprisingly) and the US. Are there any in Europe? I imagine that in the US, the teachers have a bigger following and are more well known, but it seems as though Europe does not have the calibre of masters/healers for some reason. Is it that they are unknown or do the top guys get drawn to the US?
  8. When you are chronically ill, It is irritating when people spout dogma about healing. Especially when they know nothing about the problem. I asked about Qi Gong healers/masters in Europe and the majority were kind enough to post some links and answer my question. I did not ask "will Qi gong healing magically make me better and i'd prefer not to do any work myself, thank you very much" Some people on here cannot seem to help trying to impart their knowledge and wisdom upon others, even if it is not asked for. Again thanks to everyone who answered my question.
  9. It was sarcasm. The idea that something will completely heal me, without any knowledge of my issue is a bit far fetched. If only things were that simple. I appreciate the links posted. Hopefully I will be able to see someone who can assist me on the healing journey, and put me on the right path with exercises for self healing.
  10. Care to expand on this? If I start doing Bagua my health will miraculously heal?
  11. Thanks for the links. I thought there must be some high level healers in Europe, but they don't seem to be as widely known. Any other recommendations?
  12. I'd like to visit a high level healer/teacher to try and help me with my health problems. Ideally i'd like to go and see someone like Chunyi Lin or Micheal Lomax, but travelling to Asia or the USA is not possible for me at the moment, so I hope to find someone in Europe who specialises in healing qi gong.
  13. I've been struggling with terrible insomnia, digestive problems and a general feeling of energy being trapped in my body for the last 5 years. This was a result of me doing EFT tapping. Is it possible for therapies that work with Energy to cause blockages? It feels like my thought energy has been trapped in my body, so I don't know if it is a blockage or if the energy has been transformed from one form to another. I guess what i'm asking is if a problem has been caused by energy medicine is it possible to reverse or change it? Feels pretty permanent to me and I'm losing hope
  14. I've suffered from chronic insomnia and headaches for the last 5 years as a result of doing EFT tapping, which caused some sort of energy blockage in my head. Over the last 5 years I have tried many things (acupuncture, reiki, qi gong,) but nothing has really got rid of the problem. Last week I went to see an energy healer and although I felt some better physically, I found it almost impossible to sleep that night. Since then my sleep has been even worse and I have been getting headaches more frequently. If feels as though the energy is even more concentrated in my head. I'm really reluctant to go back as I've had such a bad experience. The guy is a powerful healer and I think that he may have tried to release the block and made it worse. I wonder if anyone has some ideas about removing energy from the head. I've heard about grounding it and have had some success with pushing it down to my feet. I'm at the end of my tether with this and am tired of taking 3 different pills to help me sleep. Any ideas or personal experience would be great.
  15. Thank you for this mike, it describes exactly what my situation is. None of the regular suggestions touch the energy in my head. The only thing I have had success with is acupuncture which moves the energy around my body a bit and forcefully pushing the energy down myself. It is not particularly pleasant as it feels like an electric shock coming out of my head and down my spine. Most of the time I am pushing it down the back rather than the front. I normally do this before sleep as it seems to help get some of the energy down for a bit. Can I ask how.much time do you spend pushing the energy down? I normally do 10-15 minutes before feeling drained. No matter how much I try the energy always returns to my head and the cycle continues.
  16. I agree I've not had much luck with healing methods. The things you mention help somewhat, but I get a opposite response to exercise. I feel tired but cannot sleep. It is torture. I love mountain biking, but find it really hard as my nervous system and brain seem to get wound up and I am half dead the next day due to lack of sleep. I never had any problems sleeping until I tried EFT. I hardly ever drink, never consume caffeine and do not take any stimulants. I sleep in a blacked out room with no electrical devices and do not watch tv or surf the net before bed. I listen to meditation tapes before bed and wear earplugs. I've tried tens of different supplements and pills. I meditate before bed sometimes. Nothing really has a decent effect and without sleeping pills I will sleep for 2-3 hours.
  17. I agree. The trouble is I have spent the last 5 years of my life trying many things and nothing has worked. I regularly mountain bike, get out in nature and do all of the common things to help the body maintain balance. I want to try a find a way to get my energy channels back into balance and so far have not had much luck. It feels like an impossible puzzle as meditation, reiki, acupuncture and qi gong have only helped so much and am running out of things to try.
  18. I felt a surge of energy in the front of my head and eyes while doing the tapping and then couldn't sleep at all that night. I have had problems sleeping ever since.
  19. Hi Everyone, I have read the forum for some time, but thought it would be a good idea to sign up. For most of my life I have suffered from OCD. 5 years ago I had a relapse and was desperate to try and do something to help myself. I decided to try an energy technique called EFT where you tap on meridians and say what you would like to be healed. I tapped away many times asking for the parts of my brain to be healed which are involved in OCD. After a while some very strange happened. The volume of my obsessive thoughts reduced and I felt a shift of energy at the front of my brain and in my eyes. It felt as if the energy of my thoughts had been transformed into energy stuck in body. That night I did not sleep and neither did I sleep the following night. I ended up in terrible state and went to hospital as I was worried I might do something stupid. Since this time I have have chronic insomnia and constantly feel like my brain is over heating. I have been trying to rectify this for the last 5 things and have tried many things. I've been to acupuncturists, reiki healers, a qi gong healer, meditation, microcosmic orbit etc. Nothing has really a dent and I am still struggling. I can push the energy around my body, but it never releases. I believe the thought energy has somehow become trapped in my body by doing the EFT and I need to try and find a way to reverse it. If anyone has ideas or suggestions I'd be grateful. Thanks for listening.
  20. Thanks Trunk, I have been considering going to see someone new. The qigong master I went to see suggested something similar, which I practiced for a while, but didn't feel I was getting much in the way of results. I had more success with breathing into my feet and imagining the energy releasing out of the toes. What I have found with qigong is that it tends to build up more energy rather than reduce it, which makes things worse for me. Thank you for the video, I will have a go.
  21. I'm not sure who you mean. As far as I am aware Gary Craig runs emofree. When it happened I spoke to Gary (founder of EFT) and he was rude and unhelpful. The whole thing has made me very weary of EFT. If you know someone who might be helpful, I'm all ears.
