  1. Many spiritual masters claim that consciousness creates matter Ken. That's what the double split experiment is hinting at. Science may be able to explain how consciousness animates the physical world, it may never be able to explain how consciousness came to be.
  2. I agree with you GMP, I respect MPG and Ken's forthright approach, they say it as they see it.
  3. I am in total agreement JinlianPai that MoPai privacy should be respected, and their wish not to include westerners. It's been highlighted a number of times in this thread, but Ken and the others never really respond and answer this point. However, I think you are going too far to issue an apology on behalf of all westerners. You can only speak for yourself not others. Personally, from what I've seen of the world, there is greedy and power hungry people the world over. I find it kinda offensive when people, be them westerners of easterners, try and portray all westerners as "something", if westerners did it to easterners they would be rightly classed as racist or some 'ist'.
  4. As John Change got into trouble with the Mo Pai elders for making video's - I assume you are correct in stating that Leo - then it would seem logical why others of this forum, like SOTG, do not follow suit and make such videos. Imagine if John Chang had never made those video's, and Pa Lok Nen or Liao Tsu Long were alive and decided to anonymously post some instruction on this forum. Even though it would be valid, just because they didn't youtube it, it would be discarded by some and probably called false and placebo. Maybe if people had personal experience they would not be so quick so judge, I think that is Joe's viewpoint and it seems solid.
  5. Even in the corpse pose I get joint pain after maybe 2 hours, in the inside of my elbows, and its usually that pain which stops the meditation. I've only ever had one out of body experience when my crown chakra opened, and I suppose if I had stayed in that state or could enter it again, there would be no limit to the meditation as time and body disappeared. Things went back to normal however .Yup seven hours of continual effort is impressive, my body starts crying too much for that
  6. About 3hours at the most, usually 1 and half hours to 2 hours everyday. It usually takes at least 30minutes for the body to quiet down. It may be possible to meditate longer if it wasn't for joint pain as BaguaKicksAss gets, Always had to meditate in the corpse pose to meditate for longer periods due to knee pain.
  7. I think tongsokong made the most interesting contribution, that the teaching instructions from Jim are not correct and appear to be invalid MoPai. Therefore, the only question I'd have for Ken is, are you even practicing MoPai? and, as it seems the ancestors of MoPai don't appear to want westerners studying it at all, isn't the most respectful thing to adhere to their wish? Therefore, it may be the case that SOTG has done a service to create a thread which may have brought the above points to light. Of course, I may be mistaken in assuming the above, that's just what stood out in the thread for me personally.
  8. Tesla said if you understood 3,6 and 9 you would have the keys to the universe.
  9. Thanks for the extensive information you posted SonOfTheGods, alot of what you posted adds up
  10. Please help me understand this!

I can relate to a lot of what you have posted DreamBliss, and I am sure there are many people in all walks of life who experience the exact same feelings. I don't have any answers on why things are as they are, however, from my experience, in my meditations and spiritual practice I find whenever I am searching and desiring after something it all goes awry. When I surrender and detach, just accepting things as they are I am far more content.
  11. Who "Sees" the Dragon Eye?

I've seen reptile eye in meditation - but its rare. Also I had a dream, I was running down a road - the road where I went to school - and the road was full of snakes. I was jumping up and down and running down the hill so as to not land on the snakes. At the bottom of the road, the road curved in semi cycle twice - it does in real life, close to an old ruined mill. Around the bottom of the last curve was a huge lizard in the middle of the road which hissed at me, not allowing me to pass. I awoke due to fear. The dream always puzzled me, and now it makes sense if this lizard was the king of serpents. Energy was streaming up my back when I awoke. It was the only time I had such a dream. The significance of it I have no idea. Have a nice weekend everyone .
  12. Karmu and qigong master Jim Nance

Thanks for sharing, and as Hundun says, it will be fascinating to read, due to information about esoteric African Americans and Westerners seem less common.
  13. Bob Boyd used to run a forum: kundalini-support.com. Not sure why that expired. He had plenty of information related to Kundalini on it; but I don't think it fulfilled your requirements Mike. All the best on your search.
  14. After kundalini awakening, what next?

Hi Juliank. Interesting question, and not easy to answer. I'm self employed, and have been since leaving college; working from home. Therefore, I suppose you could say I've led a hermit life existence - although a fairly comfortable one . I've never had the desire to socialise a lot and prefer to keep myself to myself. Therefore, I couldn't say whether I'd be able to function adequately in a 9 to 5 job. I have no problem working as I always have, and chatting to friends and family just like before; so I don't think it would be an issue. Apart from when my crown chakra unblocked, and that really was an explosion of energy - exactly as Fluidity explains, where it was a clear experience of all 'your' energy leaving the body from the top of the head. Apart from that experience, it has been a fairly gentle 'process'; maybe because I don't do 'alot' of spiritual exercises and generally live life 'normally'. That said, once awakened it appears not to ever subside fully, and wont go away. My view of things has changed grealy - though gradually - and for the better. In spiritual talk, I guess I am still a 'seeker', so I couldn't say what is to come. Peace, and all the best
  15. After kundalini awakening, what next?

From comparison to my own experiences, a lot 'lines up' with what fluidity has written in his last post. I hope you do not mind me answering your question Kira - which was not directed at myself - I neither had a human guru or a yogic type system to awaken - or any type of spiritual/religious path. It was from simply meditating on the breath for 2 hours a day (everyday) for a number of years. However, it is impossible to know that was the cause, as it's not like I managed to do anything; it unfolded without specific effort to awaken anything. But, I would suggest single pointed focus for a prolonged period of time is important.
