  1. Void will happen. You will know what to do in each step without looking it up from a book, the things what you know how to do are too complicated and you will forget how it were done pretty soon.Next time you get there its different anyway and while you do these things, you will think how did you manage to do these stuff and wonder if it were luck. Brain evolved after the eyes. Senses are generated in brain. Senses have substance. You need substance in order to play a game. By losing you will gain knowledge and experience and once you dip the bottom you will get it and will win. Finding rival is a good way to cultivate what it feels to be a looser. Without substance you won't feel the pain and don't learn anything new. So if that quote says desires are gone, no pleasure no pain, its because the void and what comes after had dissolved the substance, but to reach there you need to become a winner. Interestingly the preliminaries how to get the substance is not told, its then easy to think you are done, king of the law.
  2. Beyond the spiritual heart

When you observe, you pick one sense-consciousness only and you will see it is nothing. When you do meditation there is "no tree", because senses are empty. This is like sitting in a room watching out of the window, seeing that trees are moving but no sound of wind. There is no point degrading back to do some practices because you know that when you sit down to observe there is nothing, senses are empty. What is the missing ingredient to solve this issue to move on pass this point of emptiness?
  3. Beyond the spiritual heart

If i remember correctly there is 9 different yanas. All present a knowledge as special way to see how law works. 9th is that other ways are not wrong. Saying others are wrong is evil and leads to hell.
  4. Beyond the spiritual heart

Back to the OP. The description there is not final. There is more and more precise states, describing the same processes and more. He didn't mentioned that you can start again.
  5. Beyond the spiritual heart

    nonduality doesn't exist.
  6. Beyond the spiritual heart

when you come aware then that awareness is going to disappear, it is not eternal.
  7. Beyond the spiritual heart

you can also say and know that you weren't aware of being you typing.
  8. Immortality vs reincarnation

We live in a age where physical, material appearances is taken as a sigh of maturity. But if you born into different age and world, you may have powers at default but then everyone has them so you will grave a good place to develop your other skills, so human birth is very good for that. When the age is spiritually mature you might have merit only to born as a lizard into Earth with the intelligence, maturity as your current level in this human form or as a master sorcerer in some other world.
  9. mopai

Static electricity. He can probably cultivate it into his body. Maybe charge up to couple Kvolts. It could explain the effects and powers: color of the "chi", burning, breaking things, stopping hearts, restarting them again. lvl 50 can't kill lvl51 is a hint too..
  10. mopai

you are trying to escape reincarnation cycle. What evidence you have that you reincarnated?
  11. Oneness vs Individuality

Female and male merge, one sibling usually will born and no mystery there can be also many. In legends, there can be many mothers for a single child. I haven't heard of having many fathers. One ruler, rawr.
  12. Any wisdom on boredom?

Remember boredom when there is no boredom. If you are bored its already too late, but need to repent.
  13. Any wisdom on boredom?

if we think we need to escape that means we are rebellious force against the more powerful and we will lose anyway. Ideal world could be more peaceful fun etc but the bigger force will consume it easy. If you choose to accept rules of the winning side you will have more luck. boredom is lesser or weaker force, but as being rebellous moves first.
  14. Any wisdom on boredom?

i'm similar to you, i meditate too and if i don't meditate then i just don't do anything much either. I get those boredom episodes quite often. You are lamenting over boredom. When i'm on that state, i now try to lower my eyes and be little bit of sad and connected to stomach.
  15. decision to meditate is important, its prior to actually starting to meditate. Meditation technically is to spin the wheel, every decision is like water.
  16. Any wisdom on boredom?

what exactly made you fell for that advice?
  17. Any wisdom on boredom?

In time we get used to the new environment and old problems come out again. Unless you meant it as a temporal solution, but temporal solution is also to play games.
  18. Any wisdom on boredom?

As for boredom, its not you who gets bored, you will see the boredom as a teacher would see a student. Teacher is same, students change. As you need to complete the year and all your students need to succeed, you can't ignore students named boredom. Don't fail us teacher.
  19. Any wisdom on boredom?

Read twice your story, didn't get the point probably. I battle with boredom too. Its a signal what comes. There is karma in it, it tries to force us to do things. Hence its hard not to do at this moment so its causes suffering. But eventually the energies starts moving within and the boredom is won.
  20. Split from Awakening versus enlightenment

    how sperm will find ovum?
  21. Split from Awakening versus enlightenment

An opportunity to give unpleasant energy to someone(or thing) else to carry or deal with. Results in joy. If we listen to music, then we notice significant mood rise and if we turn the volume up we get even higher joy also noticing that its harder and harder to concentrate on some other activity, it comes more difficult to understand what i read. Conclusion: Joy is opposite to mental energy. Mental energy is result of bearing unpleasant energy.
  22. Split from Awakening versus enlightenment

1.What is joy? 2.Why it comes? 3.What initiates joy, or what is the catalyst for joy? 4.Why it disappears, what makes it to disappear?
  23. Split from Awakening versus enlightenment

Can dream sometimes be a birth in heaven? I think it can.
  24. Awakening versus enlightenment

wikipedia: In Buddhism, humans have a very special status: only a human can attain enlightenment as a fully enlightened Buddha. Enlightenment as an arhat can be attained from the realms of the Śuddhāvāsa deities. A bodhisattva can appear in many different types of lives, for instance as an animal or as a deva. Buddhas, however, are always human. The Śuddhāvāsa (Pāli: Suddhāvāsa; Tib: gnas gtsang ma) worlds, or "Pure Abodes", are distinct from the other worlds of the Rūpadhātu in that they do not house beings who have been born there through ordinary merit or meditative attainments, but only those Anāgāmins ("Non-returners") who are already on the path to Arhat-hood and who will attain enlightenment directly from the Śuddhāvāsa worlds without being reborn in a lower plane. Every Śuddhāvāsa deva is therefore a protector of Buddhism. (Brahma Sahampati, who appealed to the newly enlightened Buddha to teach, was an Anagami from a previous Buddha[11]). Because a Śuddhāvāsa deva will never be reborn outside the Śuddhāvāsa worlds, no Bodhisattva is ever born in these worlds, as a Bodhisattva must ultimately be reborn as a human being. Since these devas rise from lower planes only due to the teaching of a Buddha, they can remain empty for very long periods if no Buddha arises. However, unlike the lower worlds, the Śuddhāvāsa worlds are never destroyed by natural catastrophe. The Śuddhāvāsa devas predict the coming of a Buddha and, taking the guise of Brahmins, reveal to human beings the signs by which a Buddha can be recognized. They also ensure that a Bodhisattva in his last life will see the four signs that will lead to his renunciation.
  25. To me it seems for you everything is easy. No suffering etc. I wonder whats wrong with you.
