    I think are my ankles relaxed, are my shoulders relaxed, is my torso turning slightly with my hips, are my hips relaxed, can I feel gravity pulling on my arms, am I suspended from my head top, is my chin tucked in, am I exhaling deeply enough, how great it is to experience this life I have been given

  3. Standing meditation forces you to relax the muscles and use proper skeletal structure along with stretching the tendons. Basically it is an exercise to relax. . It makes your body more efficient, also it helps calm your mind and to become aware of your body. It least that is what it is like for me

    Yes, always through the nose. This is the only Qigong I have learned, so I have little to compare it with. As for the history the main style that Master Sit learned is Tai Hui which is an extremely esoteric, internal, and southern in origin.
