In case of multiple personality, I wonder who is guilty... One will be guilty, the rest will not be but all will be punished.. and who knows what possibilities did the other personality parts have to stop the crime? Even for normal people, they can have many sides... One side commits, the rest would not...

Energy Feeling and Pain Around the Heart.
centertime replied to Shad282's topic in General Discussion
Awaken has a post... "The mind of cultivation should not be too tense or too stretch The way that fall into two poles is not middle way" As I interpret focus should not be too tense... http://www.thedaobums.com/topic/42712-what-is-wu-wei/?p=726234 There is also "open focus" which use focus in a different way... E.g focus can be wide and narrow. That can make some difference. Also, there is a strategy of focusing on empty space between pain or organ , instead of concentrating on pain itself. Attitude/intention (loving/healing..etc) behind of focus can affect its result....- 84 replies

Energy Feeling and Pain Around the Heart.
centertime replied to Shad282's topic in General Discussion
No one suggested this but due to Awaken, I realized that one can focus in a different ways. Not just focus...Focus can have quality. That one can focus hard and softly/delicately/gently. Encountering pain can cause someone focus hard. I found focusing softly/delicately/gently on tensions seems to help. And focusing hard on pain probably does not seem to help, it is like digging a greater hole. So you could try that on pain...- 84 replies

I just wonder if love is needed... Let us say I follow Buddhist for practical reasons.. no love.. just pure practicality. e.g. because I want peace.. I want to know my mind visit other dimensions etc...

What would they say then?

I think what can happen is one encounters things that are disturbing and complicated and one goes to back to simplicity...

Yes, it may not easy because the memory is not one piece for example... Painful memories tend to break up into many pieces... It is like broken glass....OneI can process them one by one... And even one piece can be heavy... So that is why it may take time... Not to mention one may not want to process them at all but still they can have an effect invisibly..... The problem is not memories they are fully repressed but with those.. which start to come up in pieces...

I guess all it matters that you feel ok.

Depression and Bad Dreams after Vipassana
centertime replied to Rocco's topic in Buddhist Discussion
I experienced similar things after energy exercises.. Things you do stir you up... For me , one thing helps if you not do these exercises close to going bed... They seem to be more interns then... You could also reduce the amount of exercises you do. -
Sorry but why would anyone want real dan dao? What is it ? Why cultivate?

There may be many reasons, and many solutions. Losing motivation, experiencing failure can result in "losing energy". It is also possible that you slow down yourself unconsciously... If you manage to make it conscious why , then you will accept the stagnation or be able to change it. Extreme feelings that one suppresses to avoid "overload" can lead to "stagnation". Actually, there may be a lot of energy in background... Using them well is an art. It could mean, you just need to rest...

two powerful affirmations to use as meditations

I found this one.. "I exist" -
From the few I tried Zhang Zhuang and Frangrance Chi kong... I had most benefit from Moving Ying Yang and no side effect...which is big word.. as I seem to be very sensitive energitically. Moving of Yin Yang with Master Chunyi Lin Spring Forest Qigong For mental balance... it is supposed to heal... as well.. It may be a good one to practice if one makes a mistake in other practices. At least, this is what I used for,
