    From special methods. Taijiquan has some special training methods except the slow and fast forms.

    Slow form is required for the development of Jin (inner strength). But you have to learn to feel and use the Jin before you start to practice the slow form.

    About "Zhongyuan Qigong" name. Zhongyuan (中原) - (Central Plain or Midland) - refers to the area on the lower reaches of the Yellow River which formed the cradle of Chinese civilization. In a broader context, the term Zhongyuan refers to Chinese civilization and China proper, regions directly governed by centralized Chinese governments and dynasties. Also Henan province is often referred to as Zhongyuan.

    Hello! I decided to creat an account. I got interested in the discussion on this forum. In the old days I studied Xingyi Quan. Then studied Qigong (mainly influenced by Xingyi Quan). Then I heard about the Taoist alchemy. Now I'm interested in Taoist practices. I started to learn Chinese. Trying to read Taoist scriptures (It's very difficult). I hope to find more information about Taoism here.
