Well I dont think that taoist immortality is understood I havent seen an actual accurate description of it on here. Let alone for retention. Spiritual alchemy in neigong is attainment oriented. Meaning that you train reach a new level of spiritual development and then you go back to your life and rest and recuperate. But this requires having authentic training and a master that an explain this to you. You dont do retention for the rest of your life. Thats unhealthy and not a good way to train. Retention is only suppose to be done at certain times. 1. building the foundation. 2. igniting the ldt 3. Maintaining the ignited ldt 4. Training for your next level of development. After step 3 you go back to living your life. You can get married have kids and so forth. Come back to the neigong when your ready for the next stage of development.

Not sure about all that. but with my Golden Lotus practice i accidentally put my fist thru a windshield without even trying. Felt like my fist hit air.

That skill is called the "Tin Chon Wan" The cloud from heaven palm. I was told by my sifu that this was a part of taoist cloud alchemy but could be practiced as a individual skill. and yes I was taught this by the same teacher that taught me the golden lotus.

Wow thats cool. Many years ago I had a dream where I was circle walking and my feet started to leave the ground and I told my sifu at the time about that and he said that is one way to get the lightness skill. Years later I learned a lightness skill that deals with cloud energy and works alot with the middle dantian.

Well when it comes to determining whether a system is good or not depends on how studious the man your learning it from was with his teacher. Did he get the full system? Did he attain the standard skill or ability that is definitive of the sect and training? Did he learn the history of the system? Does he live like a practitioner of the art? Does he train it hard everyday? Does he pass on the tradition as it has always been passed down? Does know how deep the training goes and at what level of attainment that he is at? Sometimes its not the system but who is passing it on.

Some of this will be understood by the members some of it will not. The guardian of the center is miro and maro one on earth and one in heaven.... There is our center the ldt where the golden elixir is cultivated and then the center of this planet and then there is the center of the tao... For this reason only it was the golden immortals descendants of the golden dragon that had the path to higher levels of spiritual ascension also The discord between the celestial dragon and golden dragon is real as well......

Not sure what a spiritual teacher is as all knowledge and experience is spiritual. It should be titled esoteric teacher But To go along with the OP The best spiritual teacher is life experience. Having an actual teacher is someone who helps you to be aware feel and consider what you seen felt and observed from life experiences. Life is truth and understanding it and following it makes you a master.

What im talking about isnt theory.... I have some of the golden dragon practice and my teacher told me he had the azure dragon practice and I have the golden lotus practice. I wasnt joking about what I said about the dragon of the sky and the dragon of earth....

This is so much deeper than what is known publicly. If in the golden dragon and golden lotus alchemy if the earth heals and charges you what do you think eventually happens? Golden dragon can go anywhere in the earth. Azure dragon can go anywhere in the sky and thus earth. As the thunder practices were growing the golden dragon practice was turned into the golden lotus and spread to the people. And was given to shaolin and taoist in china. What went to the taoist became the secret of the golden flower. Till this day we dont know if this was an attempt to combine the azure and golden dragons or if this was an attempt to take control of the golden dragon and gain is power by the azure dragon. The golden lotus has been watching for awhile... Azure dragon relates to the liver which is related to anger and egotism when out of balance...

I practice golden lotus and my teacher is no longer with us he only taught it to 5-6 people so its not like a big thing or something. There also seems to be some misunderstanding in this. Golden energy of the earth is what is being used its not just earth chi. There are 2 parts of the earth element. 1. Is the earth element in the universe which isnt as yin for it is the earth element energy that is outside in the universe 2. The actual earth itself which broadcast a very strong earth element to us because it is the center of our life. So universal earth element is strong and expressed thru the planet but it is the center expression of the earth element so it is more yin. Both of the energies are golden. One is yin and one is yang You will not be a immortal with out both. And you need to connect to earth as center before you connect to the earth element in the universe. The path is the center. So what this is like from a first hand experience is that connection with the earth will make your aura and energy golden and the earth will heal and charge you. This is earth yin Earth Yang will let you manifest the golden energy which correlates more to actual gold. Gold is the representation of the earth element in the universe. When you work with earth yang it creates a powerful golden vibration thru the body that is almost euphoric. you must work with earth yin so you can handle earth yang. This is the Golden Earth Immortal only second to the golden dragon. Now lets get into heavenly immortals this is represented by the Azure Dragon or sky dragon. The Azure dragon works with east sunrise liver gallbladder and thunder and sky. Some ancient taoist believed that since heaven rules earth that the thunder practices of the east were more important than the golden dragon. but this is incorrect The golden earth energy has wide reaching implications its direction is center. Yes with the azure dragon practice or any practice derived from it the sky will heal and charge you but it isnt the center of all so it is not above the golden earth immortal.

Innersoundqqigong, You replied to me but I dont think you fully understood what I was saying. in taoist astrology the earth element has 2 parts the earth and saturn(which is the manifestation of the universal earth element) yin and yang. this relates to the golden elixir in the golden lotus alchemy one can do the standing meds and work with gold light which lets you manifest it to the world. That is universal earth element Yang. Saturn The seated meds is the golden earth energy of actual earth yin. Together with both of these you access and use the fully spectrum of the earth element. Having such a powerful connection with the earth helps you handle the very powerful vibration of the yang of the universal earth element. The alchemy you are referring to is more of the yang manifestation of the gold light and thus the depletion of the jing essence because its not matched with the earth yin.

Ok....some of this sounds incorrect. I train in a art that lets up emit gold light and it is named after a golden flower I was taught directly what the golden elixir is. The balls should not shrivel up infact the opposite happens. Its actually easier to get an erection because the golden chi of the earth element replenishes your yin chi. The earth will heal and recharge you. You only get stronger. Hair turns black, skin tightens, and it is erected every morning. When my feet touch the earth the above happens and my body vibrates. The golden light becomes so strong even people who cant aurally see can see it and your not even manifesting the Gum Guang Ging..... The golden Elixir alchemy covers the fully range of earth and saturn connection in chinese astrology of the golden earth element energy. What sounds like that is being describing is more of the universal earth element of the golden energy which is more connected to the saturn end...for the alchemy to be complete you need to connect to the actually earth and cover the full spectrum.

To explain this Zhen Qi is not golden elixir the Zhen qi awakening is spring it must be refined into golden elixir this is late summer, it then is matured and refined further this is fall, At some point in meditation it will feel like nothing is happening as the normal sensations go away this is winter right before the next awakening which is the coming spring. This explains that the cultivation of center continues from man to earthly to heavenly.

Lets explain this in a more alchemic way. In the center of all of creation is Taiji this taji is the harmony of yin and yang and radiates a universal golden vibration thru out all of nature. Its direction is center. This became Known as golden elixir. All thngs in creation that has a center correlates to this. Planet earth radiates with this Golden energy and so does all living things. In chinese feng shui earth/center element can also be referred to as void. To cultivate the elixir it became to enter the void and connect to your center and the center of all things. In the center of human beings we have this earth element in us that broadcsts this golden energy and harmonizes yin and yang. So you attain the Zhen qi this is spring it grows this is summer it matures this is fall and in winter it rests (stillness) ready for the next cycle/ level in alchemy. this happens and happens until you become the embody of truth the living golden living center of all things the truth behind the elements the golden taichi. Center of ourselves (dantian) center of earthly life (earth) center of the universe (heaven)

The origin of this practice came from the Golden Dragon of the center the Guardian of Earth. It was believed improper to have many practitioners practice the guardian of earth practice. Thus the Golden Lotus practice was created. It is very similar to the Gold Dragon except its not a Guardian practice. This is also why it is held in such high regard. And This is also why Golden Dragon has been connected with the secret of the Golden Flower. The Taoist wanted this because it lead to the highest attainment in alchemy and they mixed it with other taoist principals.

Man there is alot of confusion on this topic and no real guidance. Not even a explanation on what golden elixir is. I was taught in the Golden Lotus alchemy that the golden elixir is the energy of the center which in taoist fengshui is represented by earth. Center/earth strengthens all of the other elements and when the elements are refined to there source it is this golden center/earth. That this energy is yin and yang balanced. During sunset that this is when yin and yang is balanced and the golden earth energy is at its strongest. As one grows in practice they build a greater connection to the earth and this connection will heal them charge them and replenish there yin chi. That planets trees and other herbs that bloom in late summer will have the strongest of this energy for its season is late summer. Its direction is southwest so one can face this direction to help strengthen the golden energy of the center. A Taoist should know this and explain why this herbal formula for your training is different than other ones and how to use the natural forces in nature to strengthen your training. In the secret of the golden flower it says that seeing the gold light in the mind is one of the positive lights. I agree with this. In the golden light seated meds we first see blue at the third eye and then every other color of the rainbow and then finally gold and only gold from that point on this represents cultivation of the shen.
