Well of course he would deny it china is communist he doesn't want to admit that the yang family taught the imperial court an incomplete art...... Shoot id deny it too. The kung fu dont lie if the 64 frame feels more authentic then it might be something has to be checked out.

Well given what I practice now I have to disagree on a few points. I think the old masters were pretty straight forward on what it was. To think otherwise is to take a risk. I agree with this. I disagree with you on this. The golden elixir changes you it has a spiritual effect on you. The properties in it will change you. You can be the nicest person in the world and not have the actual golden elixir inside you being cultivated. The golden elixir is made inside the body but it to has to be cultivate but its presence in the body has a cultivation effect to the spirit body. The golden elixir can be manifested and it gets more dense the longer one practices.

It is also my contention that some types of shengong and neigong internally stimulate and invoke the production of the elixir but very little is produced each time if at all. Thus making progress much slower than what it has to be.

Very cool. Seems like work is never over even after immortality is achieved. I was talking to Opendao from the wulipai on another thread who said that the Shen Xian level that light can be emitted. It seems what determines higher levels of immortality is merit and placement. But this brings me to this question why are they called gold immortals? My guess would be that it has something to do with the golden elixir. This confirms what I was thinking from personal experience. That the golden elixir is made in the pineal gland. That this elixir is luminous blissful and unmistakable. Also that this elixir must be cultivated as well.

Beware of The Tao Bums Forum- Misleading Taoism Information (!)

this almost screams response video by ttb mods. -
Thanks for getting the thread back on to the op and for posting a source and different perspective on the topic. That's quality posting. Now he brings up a interesting point about celestial immortals and gold immortals being the same. But I have also heard that gold immortals are higher than celestial immortal my links for that are one page one of this thread. So I wonder why that is? I think that it is natural for immortals to emit gold light since they are working with the golden elixir after all and there is much to back this.

So im just going to ask because you didn't really say directly in your reply to me to what you actually practice. So my question is are you a Heyoka?
-
9th im not against you. Its just the way you came on here. I started this thread because my practice caused me to ask some questions that I heard about in buddhism and taoism. So im on here trying to get my questions answered so im saying that I dont know everything. So this makes your line of questioning trolling... Do you see my point? But im interested what art do you train in?
-
Ok I found it looks like 9th did a thread about golden energy which was creptic and really didnt describe anything. http://thedaobums.com/topic/6967-golden-energy/?p=80595 No quotes from sources no replies and no reason of intent behind starting the thread. So 9th why didnt you say you were quoting yourself? It sounds like you are kind of jealous so you come on here and derail my thread... lol
-
No not really ur derailing my thread. Your not adding to the subject your not staying within the op your just a troll. But i like members like you who dont really know anything so they start derailing threads. Unless you want to go back to the op and tell us something that we dont know and hasnt already been posted about golden immortals.
-
Um no it was to my knowledge anyone who thinks im some daobums oracle who knows of every post that has ever existed on here is a fucking retard. btw lol

In my sect we emit gold light as our internal power and it only gets stronger over time. It is a Buddhist martial art from a Buddhist temple.
-
Lol? can you emit gold light? lol
-
I meant on the forum. In my own perosnal exp it wwas talked about all the time since in my lineage we emit gold light... lol
-
Thanks and that was kind of my point in starting this thread. There are many talks of it in the sutras there's even a sutra called golden light! Secret of the golden flower means gold light. A golden immortal is suppose to be the highest level of immortal. Plus the golden elixir. But yet you never hear of a practitioner mentioning emitting or seeing gold light. There was literally no discussion on it before this.

Why are these call elixir? Well because practitioners experience it like this. Zhen qi feels like a powerful vibration going thru the body which can remove blockages. The pill is like the umph behind the zhen qi once this is attained its sends aa powerful vibration thru the body. The golden elixir is blissful and has some vibration to it. The real golden elixir is the combination of the zhen qi and golden elixir to form the golden pill. The golden pill sends a powerful blissful energy thru the body. With the golden pill the light that the body gives off will be strong.

This based on my own personal experience in alchemy given what I practice now. There seems to be a mis-understanding between Zhen qi as elixir Golden pill as elixir And Golden elixir Given the types of alchemy ive done and still do ill put it like this. Zhen qi the original true energy is elixir but not golden elixir and ill explain why below. The golden elixir is made inside pineal gland. An somehow correlates to the actual chemical agent of gold. It is this that is transformed and purifed and turned into the golden pill. The golden elixir is blissful http://www.qi-journal.com/Culture.asp?-token.D=Article&-MaxRecords=1&-SkipRecords=3&-Op=bw&Name=Daoist%20Alchemy Can zhen qi and the pill be attained without the golden elixir and the answer is yes in some lineages they transmute the elixir into the golden elixir and experience the bliss later. Zhen qi has a spiritual light to it but its not the golden elixir. zhen qi can be used to awaken and stimulate the pineal gland to create the golden elixir yes that is true.

The lotus in internal alchemy has many meanings but it is mainly known as the symbol for enlightenment. The full lotus position is good for pumping the essence up the spine to the brain to create the elixir and then back down thru the middle dantian to be purified yes. But that is not the only way to do it. To attain and manifest the lotus of enlightenment is the goal. https://books.google.com/books?id=t5pZaCTJX3oC&pg=PR12&lpg=PR12&dq=gold+lotus+immortal&source=bl&ots=HB5rwlzKRX&sig=rwGjxC0-tMomUEK4-VbJaNpBnBg&hl=en&sa=X&ei=aFLtVKGWJrHjsASLhYCIBQ&ved=0CEEQ6AEwCTgK#v=onepage&q=gold%20lotus%20immortal&f=false So to manifest the full lotus would to show your Buddhist immortal nature. http://www.cttbusa.org/esscommentary/earthstore1_2.htm Something like that.
