I went like: "Alright, if I imagine some curves here, I can see a heart shape in this." But it didn't happen all by itself.

I said this because this course doesn't make use of any particular breathing techniques and postures typical of the Eastern approach. It employs guided meditations to teach various kinds of visualizations and affirmations that the attendants can then do on their own, without an instructor's guidance. It is expanding on the work of early pioneers in the field of auto suggestion like Émile Coué, but also integrates modern research into brain wave frequencies etc as well as some of the shamanic practices that its founder José Silva had looked into. The course uses states of deep relaxation (on alpha and theta brainwave frequencies) as a basis for various visualization techniques designed for solving problems and achieving practical goals. This includes dream induction and other methods of accessing one's intuitive guidance. What I found particularly appealing is that participants practice remote viewing and healing. Back in 1990, this part of the curriculum (along with some other influences) helped me to awaken my skills of remote viewing specifically for therapeutic purposes, which I apply extensively in my work with clients and had opportunities to use for you and some other TDB members. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in the aforesaid topics - which all have got to do with "opening the third eye". Ime, it really works!

A Western approach to opening the third eye would be to do a course like Silva Mind Control, which teaches how to use visualization, intuition and psychic abilities.

How about separate moderator accounts?
Michael Sternbach replied to Zhongyongdaoist's topic in Forum and Tech Support
I basically agree. What made the situation more difficult was that the other moderator was already not available any more (he had only filled in temporarily), and the new one hadn't taken up the job yet. So I was the only moderator as such. This situation was remedied immediately after the incident. Aside from that, getting nuked and shot at always spurs me into action. It hopefully goes without saying that, as a moderator, I respect any sincere discussion even of highly controversial topics. But glorifying fascism is clearly a no-no on this forum. Insofar, I stand by the action I took. -

The problem arose because my moderating actions on another thread lead to the immediate opening of another, with the OP heavily criticizing me. But it initially didn't seem to warrant an "official" response, on the other hand, I didn't want to leave it unanswered, so I opted for a more personal kind of response. The OP's harsh reactions in the form of rule violations then compelled me to put the moderator hat back on. That was problematic, of course. -

That's how, for some of us, things look permanently, I suppose.

Didn't do much for me either...

There you go! Except that the 'blue' lines entering the geosphere in the polar regions could at once be open magnetic field lines of the Earth's magnetosphere, if my scheme works out.

Nungali, You ask the question where the Earth's open magnetic field lines lead. Well, I think they might connect to the magnetic field of the Sun. Along them, particles from the solar wind enter the atmosphere, causing the phenomenon of the aurora in the polar regions.

Sure, MH. If I ever find you expressing anything but Anarchism (with a capital A), I will do my best to guide you back to it.
