  1. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

On Tuesday I had my first lesson skype with Sifu Terry Dunn. Sifu Terry is a very friendly guy and great to work with. If you still want to get a better understanding and to deepen even more than these Skype lessons are really worth Best John
  2. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Thank you Sifu Terry Dunn for this. I think it is very important that we following exactly the same road and honor the system and his teachers. Feel what breathing does to you takes a lot longer than feeling the movements. But it is the interplay where power lies. Best John

What is your advice for the long form. Using the information on the DVD or what is presented here. I start next monday with skype lessons Vol 3 and 4. So a good advice is very welcome. thank you in advanced (sorry for the bad English) John

Thank you Pitisukha for all this work. Time to ask Sifu Terry Dunn to post all the breathings here again. I remember that the way the meditations has to be done (on DVD) the exact way is GM Doo Wai learned it to his students.
  5. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

I do the long form twice a day with the breathing percentage on the DVD 90 60 5 50 40. So it would be nice to clear this up because as earler mentioned that doing the breating right is very important.

    I also use 90 60 5 50 40. So this is interesting!

Thank you Sifu Terry for this very interesting information. I will start doing the Long Form twice a day and also the two on vol 7. 80 70 50 30 and 70 50 20 10. Als also thanks you for the interesting information about Master Kwan Sai Hung. John
  9. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

Yesterday I started 80 70 50 30 and 70 50 20 10. While I do them, there is a subtle energy movement that follows the hands. A gentle heat ends up slowly in the body. During the movement of the hand with the back of the palm for the forehead, I feel exchanging heat. I intend these two 108 days to do so in combination with Bending the Bows, vol. 3 and the long form alternately. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

  11. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

I started with the Long Form. 4. I have done this in the past but it did not work because I have not built up a good foundation. Now, after four months of intensive training, I notice without the breathing sequence and only move part 1 and 2, the circulation of energy. Until now, this experience most strongly with the Bending Bows and the Long Form Thank you all for the interesting information.
  12. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

I start with the third month DVD 1, 2 and 3. One hour, 6 days a week. The longform I start until I experience real change. I have a question about breathing before meditation and after. Is it soft and deep or hard and deep. The latter method is used as the Japanese misogi (inner cleansing). I have tried both but what help is still welcome. have fun John

Yes, seeing the blue aura is different. It helps. When people are training the theoretical part is important but when there are practitionairs out there who can show the blue aura it helps beginners to gain confidence in FPQ and bring there training to a deeper level. When we say there are no secrets and the purpose is to spread this systeem every visual evidence this systeem is very special is welcome. It helps FPQ to grow and to stay authentic have a nice day

Thank you for the explanation. And no, being bold is no problem at all haha but the way Flying Phoenix Qigong is energizing and healing could also be seen through the blue aura around the hands and change of hair color is interesting. A friend of my is making a Kirlian device. In the future I will make some photos of my hands before and after the training. I will post them. Thanks again
  15. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

In the past I did Vol 7 for some time. Now I started again with 1,2 and 3, everyday 1 hour. I'm reading this: back to back. What is the meaning of this. Two practitioners sitting back to back (perhaps a stupid question for a man with no hair and a little English language.) have a nice day John

Hey Folks An update: I start with the 3 month. When I get up MSW 3 and In the evening two standing from Volume 1 or 3 and 2 seated meditations of Volume 2 or the 1st of Volume 7. Changes: Bright eyes, moments of deep relaxation in everyday life. During meditation, I feel that I relax so deeply that it resembles sleep. But the movement goes on (Cool). Have nice day

Hello Sifu Terry Dunn, I understood from an earlier post in this forum that a book comes out about FPQ. I would like to know if we can expect this book. My second question is whether there is a relationship between the Herbal formulas of GMDW and FPQ. Thanks again for spreading this great system John
  18. Flying Phoenix Chi Kung

I practice every day FPQ three standing meditations (30 min.) Vol. 1 and three seated meditations (30 min) Vol. 2 and 7 for better sleep. My sensations at this moment light superficial muscle pain, sleep better, hot spots in my body, improved my back pain (thoracic vertebrae and neck), clarity in my head. I wish you all a nice weekend John

Hey Ben, Goed bezig, ook goede vragen, ben benieuwd naar de antwoorden. Was trouwens een goede tip om terug te lezen. Het aardappel verhaal gebruiken bij de ademhaling helpt. groet John

Hi all I am searching for more information on FPCK. I'm working with the DVD from Sifu Terence Dunn. I found also this: Golden Flying Phoenix By GM Doo Wai. Is there more information about this? It seems to by an advanced version. The work of Sifu Terence Dunn is good voor a lifetime practise but I'm only curious
