I don't think anyone is claiming that that I am aware of. That sounds like a strawman to me. What they are saying is they are eager to find other systems which can provide evidence like mo pai. They are not claiming mo pai is the only way, just the only one with good evidence at the moment. I agree with that view. It seems unreasonable to me to expect people to pursue systems which most likely do nothing more than placebo, when something that has been proven is available. With Metta. I agree, but with all the aversion and hostility to it here, you wouldn't know that. With Metta. May our creator bless you, and your family, Namaste.

I did a search for metal with 5 results, plate with 2 results, and metal plate with zero results. None of the searches had information on metal plates. With Metta. May our creator bless you, and your family, Namaste.

To be quite honest everything you say is suspect, I trust what mopaiguy has told me over you. According to mopaiguy tells me the plate advice began sometime after he was accepted as a student. With Metta. May our creator bless you, and your family, Namaste.
  6. John Chang

Perhaps you can, I don't know. I just know what Chang is quoted as saying. I would rather follow his instruction, than gamble on some unknown teacher or system. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.

John says you have to be grounded to the earth, to absorb yin chi during meditation. John says the perineum IS the yin entry point. We know this. We don't know if yin can flow through the legs and butt to the perineum, or if a pile of silt/sand/dirt is needed to touch it. I would rather just go ahead and make sure it's grounded. According to mopaiguy Jim taught it it had to be directly grounded, so take that for what you will. I suspect that if Chang posted videos that settled this argument you would still find an excuse to argue about, even if you met him in person and he told you face to face you would find an excuse. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.

I am not sure what part is not conclusive about having to sit on the ground to absorb yin chi, and the perineum being the entry point of yin chi. That's what it says plain and simple. Why you and your group have to lose your collective minds over something so absolutely clear and simple is incomprehensible. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.
  9. John Chang

All that happens is they quote Chang directly and your guys lose your minds, it's like some shark feeding frenzy of trolling. It would be hard to deal with your groups constant barrage of trolling day in and day out for years, I try my best to be kind and project metta but this, this is something else man. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.

I think after a few years of this mudslinging garbage, I'd be tossing some insults also Mr. MooNiNite. Seriously this is ridiculous. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.
  11. John Chang

Who is insulting whom? This entire thing started with Jetsun lying and saying John Chang joined the forum as a moderator just to make sure Mopaiguy got banned. I mean seriously!? As far as I can see the Space Panda guys have minded their own business on their own forum until now. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.

I am asking because I've read both of Kosta's books twice, and I don't remember anything about sitting on plates. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.
  13. John Chang

I don't know, but I'd rather it be grounded than not, as it's specifically explained by Chang to be the yin entry point. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.
  14. John Chang

Alright, where in Kosta's book? With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.

It is crystal clear that the perineum is the point of entry for yin chi, and that you must be grounded. That is exactly what is said. Perhaps yin chi flows through the butt to the perineum as mopaiguy suggests, we don't know. I would rather my perineum be grounded either from sitting on silt or sand outside, or via a grounding wire. This seems more than reasonable to me, even if it is unnecessary. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.

I think your group is the unreasonable one, not the space pandas. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.
  17. John Chang

I don't know that. I know that Kosta meditated often at the beach, Sitting in the sand like that your perineum may very well touch the soil/sand. According to my talks mopaiguy Jim taught him to use the grounding wire if sitting outside wasn't an option, and to use sand/silt as pillow as well if he was meditating outside. The quotes themselves are clear, the perineum is the entry point for yin energy into the body, and you must be grounded to the earth to absorb yin energy during meditation. That much is crystal clear. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.
  18. John Chang

You know they aren't being unreasonable right? In my talks with mopaiguy he is ready to accept any art so long as there is good evidence at least as good as there is for mo pai. That seems to me to be reasonable and open minded. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.
  19. John Chang

As mopaiguy said maybe the butt touching the earth is enough for yin to flow to the perineum, the key teaching was to actually sit on the ground. According to him, Jim taught the grounding wire was only to be used if sitting outside wasn't possible. There is a lot we do not know, but we do know John Chang taught his students to be grounded during meditation. That isn't stringing together quotes, that's exactly what he said. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.

Mopaiguy made a comment that broke no rules, and got suspended for it. He said fine "I'll be absurdly nice and never say anything negative at all on thedaobums again, but I'll create my own forum and I'll say whatever I want there." Because of this your team upgraded his suspension to a ban. That's why he is out. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.

I took a picture for you Jetsun. Even seeing this though I am sure you will accuse me still of being mopaiguy. With Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, Namaste.

I was told to expect this response if I took up for them. Supposedly according to mopaiguy you suspected Ken of being him as well, as well as several others who have taken up for him. I have no doubt I will share their fate. I came here to stand up for them, and I did so knowing where it would lead. Your princess however is in another castle. Also changing of the guard from one anti-mopai group of moderators and staff to another anti-mopai group, means things still stay the same. My Metta is with you as well. Namaste, and may our creator bless you and your family.
  23. John Chang

I don't think so at all. Mopaiguy points out he was suspended for a comment that I read myself and can see no possible way it broke any rule. In my talks with him, he claims that was his first suspension on this forum, and he told a staff member here via email that he would create his own forum and say whatever he wanted on his forum, but never again would he say anything even slightly negative on your forum. So as a result your administration upgraded his suspension which shouldn't have happened in the first place to a ban. Seeing this there is no way you will ever convince me your staff has ever "bent over backwards" to accommodate them. While you've been slightly more tolerant with the other pro-mopai members, it seems to me they are still beaten down like red-headed stepchildren. You expect them to be grateful for your mercy and leniency, like it's some grand honor they are allowed to even be here. I can go back, read these old threads myself to see the bias for myself, and so can anyone else. To you I extend my Metta. Namaste, and may our creator bless you and your family.

I would agree with you, I don't think there is a single member of the moderation team or staff who would disagree. Here in the US, I have to wonder what would happen if we filled every single government position with neoconservatives who hated gay people. I suspect that policy would change rather quickly and reflect the policy of the Russian government on Gays and maybe even worse. From what I can see being a supporter of mopai here on this forum, is a lot like trying to be openly gay in Russia. It is like being a second class citizen where every decision and judgement is biased against you. That is just my observation. I find it a shame that serious seekers of mopai should have to create a separate forum just to discuss it without this sort treatment. To you I also extend my Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, namaste.

Dawei, I find your words condescending, and disrespectful, both of myself and teachers like Kosta. I can read what was written here, and I need no help comprehending it. I also disagree with your opinion of Kosta, being some naive bumpkin. Had the title read "Teachings of an Authentic "Christian who studies a Mohist sect of Neigong" Immortal I don't think people would have understood the meaning. One thing I have noticed is how strong the anti-mopai vitriol is here, you can feel it in the air here, and almost taste it. I can see why they felt it necessary to create the neigong forum. To you I extend my strongest Metta. May our creator bless you and your family, namaste.
