  1. Natural Viagra

What's it like working with her..is she chinese or western?
  2. Natural Viagra

    internet problems..
  3. Natural Viagra

Tongkat ali never did anything for me. I never tried 'ant'..from the description of the effects, it reads like the effects of increased dopamine rather than testosterone..I wonder if 'ant' does that..will do some research on that one.. Cameron, you seem to like these Teeguarden supplements..which ones have you been satisfied with? T
  4. Natural Viagra

lol..this is so typical of chinese herbalists. if you ask questions in most chinese herbal shops they get extremely annoyed (i know..there are some exceptions). you're just supposed to take it without question. the herbalists in turn hate to talk details (it's good, just take it, very strong). have you ever taken V so you can compare it? basically, V works by inhibiting the breakdown of nitric oxide (NO), which is expanding your arteries and increasing blood flow. this is very simplistic, but V allows the NO to increase faster and stay around longer. no effect on libido, it's just plumbing. so for young(ish) people like us (and for women too), the physical part of excitement takes off like a rocket. a single thought and bam, off u go, like when you were in 7th grade. these herbs work in two ways , 1 to increase desire and 2 to modulate this NO. herbs and vitamins/amino acids like mucuna, tongkat ali, tribulus, zinc, work to modulate testosterone and/or dopamine to increase libido. herbs and vitamins/amino acids like arginine, citrulline, cnidium, goat weed, cocoa (yes chocolate), pycnogenol, gingko, ginseng, modulate NO in various ways by either increasing it or slowing it's breakdown. some work in both ways, like yohimbine, does something to dopamine and at the same time acts like an irritant that results in increased blood flow. The herbal approaches do work and you can put your own stuff together by playing around with extracts. I feel that probably 8 out of 10 times the 'happy pills' you buy contain prescription drugs in them. These 10 ingredients most likely are the NO breakdown inhibitors with a couple libido boosters to boot. My guess would be cistanches, goat weed, he shou wu, lycii, cnidium, korean ginseng, gingko, siberian ginseng rhodiola, and arginine. But if it's expensive..like over 7-8 bucks a pop, then it prob has V or C in it. Let me know what you discover.. I think these performance enhancers are alot of fun to play with, but be really careful with the 'happy pill' stuff. Btw, these same substances work wonders for general sports enhancement too..not just the bedroom.. also, this is all just off the top of my head, so take it with a grain of salt.. Later edit...another effect is incredible engorgement..which is satisfying for both you and your partner..but in any case, the increased NO has other effects as well. Believe it or not, the bedroom knowledge I got from this is incidental. NO has implications for immune system which is how I stumbled upon this knowledge, it is also involved with creativity..so you just may find yourself coming up (no pun intended) with some great ideas, poetry, etc. while trying this stuff out. Some are very specific to the reproductive organs (esp. the PDE-5 inhibitors--which affect the eyes too..remember the V/eyesight issue that came to light) but some others act more generally. Anyway, very cool topic.. T
  5. Ludmila!

I see Sean quickly disposed of the SPAM in the tech support...i googled her name and saw it was connected to quite a few websites with different e-mails all saying the same thing..but on another board, there was a similar story about the credit cards and meeting a guy but from a different persona. Since 'she' signed up, it would be interesting to see if any real discussion comes about. I'm pretty sure it's just e-mail trolling, but imagine if there was a lonely girl in russia who is desparately seeking a mate like this..could this be an international 'sleepless in seattle'??
  6. CFQ Healing or Standing Chi Kung?

true, on the sitting stuff, use your sitz bones as virtual legs/feet. Many taiji masters, including chen xiao wang, demo fajing and other things sitting on a chair. T
  7. CFQ Healing or Standing Chi Kung?

Alot of tension is insidious and becomes part of one's natural way of being. Many people grip their stomachs hips and pelvis so much they have lost all discernment. I think standing in those cases can make one worse and more stiff. I think the alignment stuff is pretty advanced, imho. T
  8. CFQ Healing or Standing Chi Kung?

I don't know anything about CFQ, but I would have to agree with that statement. I think standing for the majority of folks makes them more tense. If your goal is to remove tension and play with meridian flows, then corpse pose or the constructive rest position or some kind of sitting posture is better. T
  9. If you were the 'emperor of the world', how would you stop terrorism? Especially using taoist principles..how could it be done? One model could be, imagine the earth as an 'organ' of some sorts and the all the living things as individual cells. Terrorists could be like what...a cancer, a virus, an infection?? It would be cool to see interesting views on this and proposed ways to deal with it.. T
  10. Love

  11. How would you stop Terrorism

yeah, until somebody wants someone else's...or somebody wants more..or feels someone else doesn't deserve it..etc. but there is a grain of truth in that if a terrorist somehow fell in love with one of his target groups, i'm sure he/she would have a different opinion..love does that, no? T
  12. Love

are you talking about losing your sense of self when in love with someone? along the same lines, I saw a show recently that demonstrated people naturally tend to modify their opinions when in a group..over time, group beliefs tend to become extreme. It was showing how communities become polarized in their views and explains the beliefs of terrorists.
  13. Idea for Fat Burning

First, as an aside, it's funny how there seems to be similar yet independent streams of thoughts on this site.. I decided to finally just start sporting the kind of body that I want to be living in. This body is lean, flexible and has superb core strength/graceful. I have an extremely high stress job and don't sleep enough..compounded by the fact that I love to eat sweet food when I'm under stress..so this is what I'm thinking... 1.) Do an atkins like low carb initiation (under 20gms carbs) for a few days to burn all stores of glycogen. 2.) While in this ketogenic state, do long low intensity exercise like walking on the treadmill or using the elliptical or taking ashtangha yoga. 3.) theoretically watch all the fat melt away as I burn almost exclusively fat. This should be like a candle burning the wick away. I'm thinking if I burn 1000 calories, it should be exactly one third of a pound of pure fat. 4.)Once I'm completely lean to my liking, start to load up on vegetables and balance the meat/veggie ratio. 5.) say goodbye to peanut m&m's after 4pm for ever.. Thoughts? T
  14. Idea for Fat Burning

anybody venture an opinion on if i make an herbal tea with say he shou wu and wolfberry, if that would be low carb?? T
  15. Hi Plato, What I did say was 'digging up *any* quote' was unproductive. If one is going to quote sources you shouldn't later admit they were questionable because it ruins credibility. It appears *as if* one is looking for anything to support a view. Begin really said that? Max, I'm not arguing about facts, i'm pointing out that you keep saying you're presenting both sides, yet you keep honing in on all the bad things about jews.. You Mel Gibson!! yeah, I said it!!! LOL j/k T
  16. Against my better judgement, I just wanted to say a few things. First off, everyone should watch Dog Whisperer. This guy talks about intention, energy, balance in real tangible ways and explains alot of the dynamics you see in human relationships..actually all relationships, even our relationship with god. Smile, you are in an unbalanced state right now. I know you hate to hear this, because you have lots of ideas about being a good guy, balanced, buddhist, peaceful, etc. Those are you words, but your actions and intent are completely different. I apologize for stepping into this discussion, but it's an observation I feel you need to at least be aware of. From my perspective you say the right things about being compassionate and peaceful and then you throw in your true feelings of anti-semitism. I'm sure you're pissed right now reading this wondering who the hell do I think I am to say this..but I'm just reading your energy. Lozen has done a good job of trying to bring some balance to your views, but you still don't get it. You want to fight and prove you are right about jews, but at the same time you are 'just showing all the possibilities'. Digging up any quote to support your views is not a productive use of your time and energy. Everyone knows just because something is written down doesn't make it authoritative. So it reduces your credibility to print things about people from, and by your own admission, questionable and biased sources. Mythmaker, don't turn off. I get into arguments and turn off or become aggressive too, but I'm working on trying to find balance in more productive ways. I think we should try to find a healing and loving way to discuss things. This has to come from within. I certainly don't think it's easy. And I'm not putting myself out as a role model, so don't attack me, I've had my share of petty arguments. T
  17. Idea for Fat Burning

Thanks..I didn't want to debate the atkins approach, however. What I'm saying is if I enter a state of ketosis, then theoretically any calories burned during low intensity exercise *should* be pure fat..so if I burn 1000 calories on the treadmill, by a moderate walk, i should burn off 1/3 lb of pure fat..what do y'all think? T
  18. How do you use Sound in your practices?

I'm looking for some MP3s I can download of some chanting...can anyone point me to some? Some tibetan stuff would be cool.. Thanks T
  19. John Chang Video

What tantric techniques have you been exposed to? What got 'frighteningly strong'? Were you working with breathing techniques or visualization techniques? You don't have to say exactly what you did, but some generalities would be cool. I could probably extrapolate the rest on my own. Other than some odd breatholding/pressure thing, I can't imagine something doing damage...?? T
  20. Help me find a martial art

I think there is just as much bad taiji and bagua out there without peng as there is people practicing BJJ without Peng. The difference is in the talk vs the walk. Also, there isn't a portuguese word for peng...yet. But every now and again, you encounter someone with "presshoor" (pressure).. T
  21. tao expert help required

A few ideas..first, like sean said see a good doctor. This is very important, so see a Urologist and a TCM to get a full picture. You don't want to miss something like cancer or heart disease. Plato, on this list has a lot of experience so check out his stuff. My two cents besides above is to not assume a cause/effect relationship between pressing the huiyin point and the problems you are experiencing. Sure it is possible, but bear in mind bicyclists ride for hours. Problems such as yours are usually stress related, a marker for heart disease, an indication of hormone problems such as hypogonadism, or spine/nerve related. Definately get blood work done and watch other markers like hair loss and abdominal fat..believe it or not they are all related to heart/arterial disease. The danger of alternative methods of healing and self treatment is that you could miss one of the quick killers, so you want to rule any of that out by getting blood work, ultrasounds, etc. Once you're confident nothing 'big' is going on, then you can focus in energetic work. Please don't shy away from seeing a doctor. T

I work with a guy who studied taichi with him..if anyone has any questions I can pass them on.. T
  23. John Chang Video

Maybe he retreated into privacy, but kostas seems to be doing ok and have no issues promulgating him. To paraphrase a wise teacher, if you have a lamp, would you hide it under a table? Or another..we're in the desert and I have some water.. Anyway, tell me how you understand the fire thing from an engineer's perspective. Have you tried any of it? T
  24. Dog Whisperer

Anyone watching this awesome show? This guy is amazing and talks alot about energy.. T
  25. Dog Whisperer

    exactly..well put..
