  1. Is any of this proven or real?

The book details research done in around 1993. None of those links shown will help you live even one minute longer. This is about realizing Human Life first. The things you link to are not what is causing Death. These are all just things they see and measure in the people of today. None of them are normal humans, or in any normal environment. None of whom are cultivating human life. -VonKrankenhaus
  2. Is any of this proven or real?

Major causes of Death today, in order, are Abortion, Medical Drugs & Procedures, Heart Disease, and Cancer. Abortion kills without shortening telomeres. So do Medical Drugs and Medical procedures. And Heart Disease and Cancer are not first caused by problems with telomeres. That is just a "symptom". More than 90% of these today are caused by poor Diet and Life Conditions. -VonKrankenhaus

  4. Is any of this proven or real?

If there is nobody there with no body - then already not "mortal". And we can theorize about what Death is, but this will be irrelevant if we have not first understood what Life is. Human Aging like you describe, stops at around 115 yrs of age. So however diminished and impaired you are at that time, that is all you are really dealing with. So we study before that, how to avoid diminishment. What you see and believe is not natural occurrence. It is "manufactured". -VonKrankenhaus
  5. What is the Taoist religion?

I have posted many words of explanation of YinYang and the TaiJiTu here in various discussions. I like his costume and props though. Otherwise, what would anyone be recognizing? His audience will likely not be equip to discern what he is saying anyway. And I am not saying "bad" - just saying "incorrect". -VonKrankenhaus
  6. Is any of this proven or real?

One large impediment to "Immortality" is getting sick and dying. Major causes of Death today, in order, are Abortion, Medical Drugs & Procedures, Heart Disease, and Cancer. So first, you transcend these. So going ahead from there, you never once "need" any Doctors. And you can prevent and cure Heart Disease and Cancer. This means you can continue study from there. If you cannot do these things, then haven't even begun study of "Immortality" yet. -VonKrankenhaus

You are writing this about a battery in a flashlight. Not sure how a battery works? Or a simple electric circuit, like a flashlight? -VonKrankenhaus
  8. Taoist meditation

It will help if someone or anyone in the discussion would take the time to study these things such as "Qi" and "Meridians" before answering that. This means, for those terms, study of traditional TaiJi philosophy and Medicine in a traditional context. Otherwise, why just guess? Even if you see "answers" - how will anyone recognize them? Examples of Qi are all around, all the time - but can't see them? Common battery in a flashlight is showing you Qi. -VonKrankenhaus
  9. Taoist meditation

That is okay, as earlier I had written: "Qi is just the movement between the poles of any polarity. Like heat, electricity, etc.. It is not any substance, mystical or otherwise, and not any more of an " (sub)culturally induced experience" than Hot/Cold, Wet/Dry, Active/Inactive, etc. -- Turn on any faucet - you found Qi. Get up in the morning - you found Qi. Inhale and Exhale - you found Qi." And you replied: "You may be right or you may be wrong. At this point I am not able to tell what's the case" Which is okay. But these are just obvious facts. How is Einstein made a quote exactly or not a more important fact than those? How can that even be more understandable than the simple fact of: "Inhale and Exhale - you found Qi."? -VonKrankenhaus

My comment was not about Einstein in specific. I did not get it from "New Age" web site(s). My comment, and others, are about Matter and Energy and the asymmetry of YinYang, and how this Matter and Energy thing is related to electron spin, which is related to quaternions, which is related to Matter/Anti-Matter, which is related to the Taoist concepts of WuJi and TaiJi and the emergence of the Manifested Physical Universe. I don't care if Colonel Sanders made the statement in quote. Einstein talks about Matter and Energy in the video, and so does the quote also about Matter and Energy. The understanding of Taoism is more important. YinYang philosophy is what I know well and study since I was a child, and I am trying to find ways to explain and apply it in modern terms. I spent a long time never mentioning it. Maybe almost 40 years. VIYY has made some interesting researches and mental connections that he has posted. I am trying to see if what I know fits with this and other things. I would like to explain things that have not been explained correctly. And to explain things I know more efficiently. And for everyone to have the most Fun and Learning, which I enjoy very much too. I appreciate your concern for Master Einstein. But he is not the focus in my comment. -VonKrankenhaus
  11. Taoist meditation

I think it very hard to actually verify MOST quotes, from Einstein or anyone. Unless you know them. But he does say essentially the same thing himself, in-person, in this video above. -VonKrankenhaus

"Concerning matter we have all been wrong. What we have called matter is energy whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter. All matter beings vibrate at specific rates and everything has its own Melody. The musical nature of nuclear matter from atoms to galaxies is now finally being recognized by science."~ Albert Einstein This also shows asymmetry of YinYang. Energy is Qi. Qi is Movement between poles of any polarity. This means all Movement is Yang. Matter is Yin. WuJi is no Matter and no Energy - No Polarity. YinYang appears in the One. One HAS or EXHIBITS YinYang, or "Polarity". The first Movement defines the Stasis it arose from. Before that is WuJi. -VonKrankenhaus
  13. On Mo Pai

This is just the TaiJi from early diagrams like Zhou Dunyi. These are trigrams. Trigram for Fire is on Left, and trigram for Water is on Right. So in this diagram, Fire/Water is the immediate symbol of Polarity. Beside this in diagram, at sides - Zhou Dunyi wrote "Yang is Motion" on Yang side, and "Yin is rest" on Yin side. -VonKrankenhaus

I will surely look at Tantien part later, but I saw this right off, and below I try to apply understanding of Taoism. Maybe not perfect match or translation, and is a "simplification", but I think is very close to the same things: "As for music theory - it is very simple. The root tonic is the first note that you hear and it naturally has harmonics as the natural numbers so, 1, 2, 3 in the Dao refers actually to music harmonics. The trick is that the octave is the same "pitch" as the first note - and so you double the frequency." So, aside of Music theory, which is good explanation, and then looking at Taoist "Cosmology" there is -- One exhibits Two – Polarity. Still “One”, but allowing or explaining “Movement”, which is between two poles of “One”. Not a paradox, but the basis for “Qi”. Qi is movement between the poles of a polarity. “One” HAS polarity, and so Movement – without there being a physical “Two” objects necessary. "But frequency is inverse to TIME and you can not see time. The West assumes a visual measurement of frequency as wavelength and then tries to make it a symmetric geometry lining up with the 3. The 3 in Daoism is also called the Single Perfect Yang because as the subharmonic it is 2/3 as C to F, a Perfect Fifth while as the overtone harmonic it is 3/2 as C to G. So you have G=3=F at the same time. This means that the 3 is nonlocal - in two different places at the same time as the future and the past, that overlaps over the one." That is “Qi” – non-local, perfect Yang is perfect Movement. In human life, this is also the Child. In the case of each, “you can not see time”. "To try to line up the 3 with the 1 then you "double" the subharmonic so that instead of 2/3 now there is 4/3. But if you are using 3 as the denominator that means you CHANGED what the "one" was as the root tonic! Therefore the root tonic has a geometric dimension of zero that can not be seen but it can be listened to - as the 5th dimension. That is the secret of the Dao. " This is the Movement shown in the completely non-moving TaiJiTu -VonKrankenhaus

Taoism understands this as the fundamental asymmetry of YinYang. Most people see TaiJiTu and assume YinYang is symmetrical and "reversible" like "mirror images". But look at one basic polarity - Light/Dark. Light is movement, vibration. Dark is not the "inverse" of that. Dark is the "absence" of that. Same way, the upper part of body is not a "reflection" of the bottom half. If YinYang polarities were symmetrical, they would "cancel out", preventing the existence of the "manifested" or "physical" Universe. So if we look at electron spin or difference between "matter" and "anti-matter", it is this asymmetry that allows for Matter to exist. -VonKrankenhaus
  16. What is the Taoist religion?

Master Gu is not going to teach anyone Taoism. He doesn't even understand the TaiJiTu. "So these two dots,, represents, uh,,, eyes" -VonKrankenhaus
  17. What is the Taoist religion?

This book "The Religious Systems of China" by J.J. M. deGroot is not going to teach much about Taoism. It is a book written in large part to denigrate Chinese philosophy while supposedly "describing". Cannot describe what they do not understand. Here's a quote: "Feng Shui is a mere chaos of childish absurdities and refined mysticism, cemented together, by sophistic reasonings, into a system, which is in reality a ridiculous caricature of science". Many more even worse than that. -VonKrankenhaus
  18. Taoist meditation

If people see YinYang as "two" - they must know "simultaneous" and not a "linear causality" "timeline" - and also not assume reversible or "symmetrical" or mirror images. Zhou Dunyi says "Yang is Motion, Yin is Rest". This means all movement is Yang. The polarity Light/Dark is an example: Dark is not the "reverse" of Light. Dark is the absence of Light. This understanding applies to all YinYang observations at all levels, where we can see polarities happening within or alongside other polarities, etc. -VonKrankenhaus
  19. Taoist meditation

The "theory" is actually just the observation of Polarity. We are born from all Dark womb into half-light/half-dark world of Air - so feeling Polarity is primal activity. No theory required. We grasp this as babies with no theories. Without experiencing polarities, we have no discernible experience. No "hot" means we can't tell "cold" - both arise at same time. We all have this experience. Everyone living knows polarity intimately already. Chinese philosophy and medicine are just elaborations of that basic observations we have as infants. -VonKrankenhaus
  20. Taoist meditation

Do you dispute how a battery or thermodynamics work? Because that's basic YinYang and Qi. Or, does the battery and convection need to be due to a "mystical substance" you also look for in your body? Or, are these just simple polarities, different ones, and the movements between the poles of those polarities? In your body are many little electric circuits and also heat is moving in many different polarities. And there are other polarities beyond just electricity and heat movement - many. Qigong is just study and experience with these and other polarities in the body and between body and environment. Even voidisyinyang is describing this, and some of them in real good detail. -VonKrankenhaus
  21. Eight forces / trigrams in cultivation

Okay, but this is a "made up" idea. Bagua are not "forces". Trigram is not a "force". YinYang also - not "forces". They are "descriptions". -VonKrankenhaus
  22. Taoist meditation

I don't have a theory. If you study, you will see I am not providing a theory. "Theory" is actually just a 5000 yr old description of fact. YinYang & Qi - already exist. Electricity and Magnetism and other polarities all exist. A battery - available to see almost anywhere. That's all I'm describing. That's what Fu Hsi was describing. Wu Xing is elaboration. Lo Shu is further elaboration. -VonKrankenhaus
  23. Taoist meditation

You are looking in the wrong places and critique the wrong aspects. Those are not books that teach about Qi. They are mainly something else entirely. Over 1500 academic recognized sources and thousands of hidden and protected sources, and many living Sifu exist, and you only choose these two books to decide what Qi is? One Zhou Dunyi diagram is more informative if you want to understand YinYang, Wu Xing, and Qi. NeiJing Su Wen is better also, but then you are looking at medicine and need to know what looking at there, as it is slightly different - different words used for same thing, etc - but still - way more helpful than DaoDeJing for what you look for. -VonKrankenhaus
  24. Taoist meditation

Would you say that about temperature or impact? Those are experiences of Qi. Sensations or feeling of Qi in the body is like those, because they are Qi. "Something" is "some" "thing" - Qi is not a "thing" at all. Qi is not a substance. You can't buy it, bring it home, unwrap, and "feel" it. Not a toy, or any "thing". Qi Gong is working with polarities in the body. There are MANY, and all are not even involving the same organs or processes in body. Qi is just the movement in those polarities. But you think it has to be a "substance" and you need to find this "special" substance in your body? The whole idea is childishness. Fools like this idea. That's why there is so much of it to go around. Already there are many substances you feel and some you don't. All showing Qi. Those are no good? They are all there is in there. What do these polarities do? They merely regulate and express all functions. Awareness, moving, anything. No Qi - No movement. No movement - not living. No polarity - no Qi. I won't push this though, if you want to believe something else. I will continue myself, however, as for the last almost 50 yrs. -VonKrankenhaus
  25. Eight forces / trigrams in cultivation

Post Heaven Bagua is LoShu - the "magic square". You misunderstand its purpose. Wu Xing is retrofitted in Bagua. That's basically it. Early Heaven is just a depiction of energy moving through polarities like Day/Night - the basics of YinYang and Qi. This is technical stuff, not "mystical". But later politicized, and cultivation secret language - people try to mix and they get very confused. They go to Disneyland in their head. But please look at the basic technical knowledge of this first - it explains thermodynamics, electricity, and many things and phenomena. It shows you how battery is label backwards, and Earth magnet inside must be backwards. If you don't see this - what is anyone "cultivating"? Cultivating many assumptions and mistakes. -VonKrankenhaus
