  1. Obviously qi is inherent in all processes. There is really nothing unusual about what the woman is purported to be doing. Qi work modifying living processes. Same kind of thing Bruce Lipton is talking about. So - the techniques of developing this - people are interested? -VonKrankenhaus
  2. What is freedom?

Movement of evolution is towards more freedom interacting in environment. Early heaven ba gua shows YinYang & what is given, and later king wen sequence is showing change - for example, 9 palaces. So materially we might say we are not free, but metaphysically we might say we can find freedom. And generally, we can say that we must be healthy in order to be free. And we must be free in order to be truly happy. -VonKrankenhaus
  3. qi cultivation and vital foods

Re: ----- "What are some of the vital foods or ones that you have experience with increasing your qi? Are there some foods to avoid that would hamper qi cultivation." ----- Pretty much all of modern lifestyle, food, and medicine are systematically counter to most human functionality. Processing, canning, and other industrial process applied to foods are stripping away qi from form. Chemicals and monocropping disturb natural growth of food plants, and thus also the natural growth of the person eating. Genetic engineering also. Fluoride in water, food, drinks, and medicines kills neurons and makes cells unable to process qi. As does mercury in flu shots and other medicines. It just goes on and on. So this means person studying cultivation now has been engineered into an entirely different human being from those who developed the cultivation methods. Statistically, many who would study now are diabetic in some degree, or autistic. About 50% developing cancer as they practice. Any wonder why modern results are most often slow and incomplete? -VonKrankenhaus
  4. The Hell planes

All are projections based on perceptions, experiences, and actions in this world right now. If believed, they will persist as supposed experiences. -VonKrankenhaus

  7. For a few reasons. The main reason - reiki is a subset. Another is that most modern qigong students are having what I would call very slow progress because of their condition. Most modern people, for example, have a pre-cancerous condition. Many have been given allergies and autoimmune issues from vaccinations. Many are diabetic or pre-diabetic. They are eating chemicals and plastic that impair hormonal functions. 70% of the people in US are on prescription medications. A huge number of them are autistic. They do better with simpler tasks. -VonKrankenhaus
  8. Rest assured, qigong masters open their MCO in "15 minutes time" too. Reiki is a small subset of much larger set of knowledge. It is like one specific part. So reiki people are reaching their objectives, and so are qigong people. -VonKrankenhaus
  9. Hillary and Trump

Re: ----- "A man can have engorged mamories if Pot is chronically used." ----- Actually, it dries up breastmilk and shrinks women's breasts. This was some bullshit put out in the mid-70s to cover the pervasive use of phyto-estrogens and hormone-interrupting chemicals (BPA, pthalates, etc) in food and food packaging - which was enacted to reduce population growth. Same shit in a river causes alligators with the wrong, or missing, sex organs. Men are growing breasts who have never touched cannabis. LOTS of them. There are many reasons for and against cannabis and many other things - but this breast thing is straight distraction and medical propaganda. -VonKrankenhaus
  10. Does Weightlifting Open Chi Channel?

By what mechanism would weight-lifting "open" acupuncture meridians? Which type of tissue is flowing qi more - hard tissues, or soft? How many qigong practices involve weight lifting to open qi flow? Not many! High resistance weight training will increase some hormones, like testosterone. Which means the body is made to use up raw materials and hormone precursors. Some of this contributes to qi activity, and some draws away from it. Light movement and stretching are more efficient at improving qi flow. We could call taiji and qigong "light movement and stretching". We would not call modern "bodybuilders" qi masters. In fact, people doing a lot of weight training can use qigong and taiji to avoid damage or recover from damage. What kind of damage? Lack of qi flow, essentially. -VonKrankenhaus
  11. All media exists to influence people. Even "Modern Art" in USA was determined by the CIA. -VonKrankenhaus
  12. Chi has amperage but not voltage

Re: ----- "The concept of being able to measure Chi is an interesting concept though. Perhaps one day someone will devise an instrument that is able to do that." ----- Traditional instrument for discerning qi is YinYang. To study qi moving, we use 5 phases, and so on. Generally, I often say "qi is the relative potential of YinYang at any point on any spectrum of matter or energy". So there are many kinds of qi. But more specifically, in terms of "cultivation", qi is also associated with hormonal responses and functions, some of which involve bio-electricity, but most involving chemical and metabolic energy processes. Cultivation is the rendering of all "bodily processes" unto consciousness. So I define my own studies, my "yoga" as "the rendering of all creation unto consciousness". -VonKrankenhaus
  13. Carlos Castaneda's Tensegrity

From that article: "Tensegrity is a movement technique that seems to combine elements of a rigid version of tai chi and modern dance. In all likelihood the inspiration came from karate devotees Donner-Grau and Abelar, and from his years of lessons with martial arts instructor Howard Lee." Which is just what it looks like in the video I saw. -VonKrankenhaus
  14. Carlos Castaneda's Tensegrity

I just looked at some videos showing this. To me, looking like a few native "dance moves" (which could have their own substance and explanations) mixed with a karate person's impression of some basic qigong, and demonstrated by western "fitness" or modern dancer type people. Maybe not "total" nonsense, but relatively, this is a world that runs almost entirely on nonsense. VonKrankenhaus
  15. Is it the duty of a Taoist to protect Nature?

Many people are doing what they've been told to about conserving, for example, electricity. They shut things off when not using, etc. They purchase mercury-laced lightbulbs that turn their home into a toxic waste dump if they break, and that emit "dirty electricity" when they run. But residential and commercial use of electricity is something like 8% - 15% of total electric power use. By far, the most electricity is being used to produce aluminum for industry. Are they interested in stopping or conserving? No, not really. They are apparently just spraying tons and tons of the stuff out of airplanes onto the people who are trying to conserve in their electrical usage. -VonKrankenhaus
  16. Re: ----- "God didn't "create" us out of NOTHING. We ARE God. We are FORMS or MANIFESTATIONS of God." ----- True in a very practical way. How did we appear? From what? Isn't the Sun a compression of space? Isn't the Earth a compression of the energy of the Sun? Aren't plants manifestations of Earth? Do not all animals arise from compacting plants? -VonKrankenhaus
  17. Is it the duty of a Taoist to protect Nature?

Re: ----- "This idea that humanity stands alone as being destructive and bad, is basically a form of self loathing." ----- True. One that has been positioned in media and education to distract from the true cause of so much destruction. Let's face it - "humanity" didn't naturally just decide to wreck everything in its path. A very few humans have artificially produced a mass of "humans" and specifically threatened and bribed them into doing their bidding. Using techniques developed from a few thousand years of animal husbandry and domestication. To have these "humans" build for them all it will take to control all life on the planet. And they have just about done it. Very close so far. -VonKrankenhaus
  18. Christian vs. Hindu deities

Re: ----- "Exodus 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before me." The bible is very exclusive towards the God that is represented by 'El Shaddai' 'Yahweh' 'etc'." ----- Well, once there are invented some "gods", then the natural progression is to reduce that concept of proprietary control and manipulation to a single exclusive source that one group can sell on everyone else. But it's all always been pure "bullshit". Otherwise, you know - we'd all be equal, which is not compatible with the creating of "authority" over groups, etc. We see by YinYang thinking that all movement is coming from imbalance, and this is the artificial way of creating that for political use. -VonKrankenhaus
  19. Pope Dalai Lama

I'm not sure people can really believe that either a Pope or Dalai Lama are put forth for spiritual reasons. Religions were not. So why would the leaders of the religions? -VonKrankenhaus
  20. Why are we afraid to die if it's inevitable?

Re: ----- "Absolute truths don't have opposites, an absolute lie is an oxymoron, because lies are not absolute. The absolute is nondual and beyond dualistic concepts. Even the relative is not an opposite of absolute, because the relative is a lie. There is just the absolute, nothing else. Manifestations are not real." ----- How can there be multiple absolute truths? Manifestations are actual, but temporary. Whatever begins, will also end. In terms of relative and absolute: If infinity = 0, how can the "finite" be the opposite of the "Infinite"? -VonKrankenhaus
  21. Why are we afraid to die if it's inevitable?

Re: ----- "You are talking about relative truths which are not actually truths. Relative honesty is dishonesty. The only truths are absolute and are synonymous with reality. " ----- Does truth have an "opposite"? If so, it is relative. How about "absolute" truth? Isn't there also an "absolute" opposite to that? An absolute lie? Does reality have an "actual" and "manifested" opposite? No. There is no "real" un-real. -VonKrankenhaus
  22. Why are we afraid to die if it's inevitable?

Truth is not reality. It's just being honest. The honest can be incorrect, but telling "the truth". Reality is beyond truth. -VonKrankenhaus
  23. Using chi or thoughts to manifest cash flow?

Finding the Way,,, That's Taoism. Perhaps Otis Redding's problem was that the "Way" he could see was merely the "way" advertised to him in his "society". Which, let's face it, is laughing stock, just a big trick. -VonKrankenhaus
  24. Twin Towers

Re: ----- "Well, until you come forward with proof I'm believing the official version and the sight of two planes hitting those towers." ----- I have never met anyone who was actually on the ground that day who saw any jet plane at all hitting any building in NYC. People saw that on TV. -VonKrankenhaus
  25. Using chi or thoughts to manifest cash flow?

Mind is manifesting everything. A human mind is like 1/Mind, like a fraction appearing like an individuation. But fraction like a hologram, not like a fraction of a pie. Mind is movement, and we have Will as our individual movement. Where there is a Will, there is a Way. -VonKrankenhaus
