  1. The origin of mankind

Re: ----- "Seems like you didn't get me right. I am not saying that human beings exist on those levels. What I am saying is that the galaxy, solar system, atoms etc all have certain characteristics in common which are also being expressed in and as humans." ----- Characteristics, yes. But not the entire human form. That full human form only appears right where the actual full human appears. So we cannot expect to see full human form in an atom, nor between galaxies. Before and after that time and place, only parts of that form are existing. When "parts" assemble, the more complete form emerges, then the physicalization of that full form. Life has evolved into that form here. "Parts" can be called "characteristics". "As above, so below" is accurate, not just a platitude or generic. -VonKrankenhaus
  2. The origin of mankind

Re: ----- "You find the same structures and concepts repeated also on the level of the solar system, the galaxy, and so fourth. Going down the scale, you will find them in the cells and atoms. That is, if you have the eyes to see." ----- More likely not. Because humans are not appearing in those areas. Humans have definitely appeared on Earth as formed by the Sun. And may be in other similar systems. But not just hanging out in space, not inside microbes, not inside atoms - not where this doen't have relevance. Not if these forms have determined human structure. In space, the structures relevant would be forming something pre-human, before the human structure - an earlier (and much later) stage of what goes into evolution of life. The human form appears just before the human appears. And not elsewhere for no reason. -VonKrankenhaus
  3. The origin of mankind

Re: ----- "The human form emerged as a reflection of the Universe at large" ----- Not the Universe. The Sun and Earth. http://www.universetoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/plasmatail_strip.jpg -VonKrankenhaus
  4. The origin of mankind

Interesting that you mention Venus. It seems to me that there may have been life and even human life on Venus in the distant past. Because I see the solar system as a spiral and not just circles. And since the solar system travels through space, it will encounter periods of contraction, expansion, and stasis. Proto-planets are forming at the periphery. And eventually contracting in towards the Sun. Which means Venus may have been where Earth is now. And mars will be where Earth is now in the future. As it moves towards the Sun (measure in billions of years) Mars will heat up and expand, releasing water to the surface and starting "plate techtonics". It is possible that developed life on Venus journeyed to Earth like we are planning to do now with Mars. This would explain legends of ancient space travellers. -VonKrankenhaus
  5. The origin of mankind

Re: ----- "You already talked of genetics and environmental influences. But there is more in my book. And your mention of Man's "imaginative soul" leads me to the question: What was the "soul" that "imagined" humanity as a whole?" ----- Animal was created by vegetal. The thing that shaped human being from ape was that the climate cooled (due to position of solar system around galaxy) and large fruits and nuts contracted into seeds like those of wild grasses and small pulses (beans). Wild grases are the most recently evolved plants. Human being are the most recently evolved animal. Throughout evolution this has happened. Changes in vegetal realm become changes in animal realm. We are the dreams of plants. -VonKrankenhaus
  6. The origin of mankind

Re: ----- "Outer space and infinity LOL You need to stop getting your science from Pixar ;-)" ----- It's actually much simpler than that. Everything on earth comes from outside of earth. Which is "outer space". The earth did not just suddenly appear from inside itself. The rest of what I wrote is also just as simple. -VonKrankenhaus
  7. Microcosmic Orbit resulting in Floating?

    Chinese gongfu. -VonKrankenhaus
  8. Microcosmic Orbit resulting in Floating?

I have seen it. And demonstrated it in huge public auditorium back in 1975. -VonKrankenhaus
  9. The origin of mankind

Everything on Earth originally came from "outer space". The origin of humanity and everything else is Infinity (also = zero). You are all Infinity. And begin condensing. Into energy waves and "forces". Into pre-atomic particles. Into atomic "elements". Into "chemicals". Into microbial life. Into plants. Into animals. Primate. Human being. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." All of this is condensation of energy. The point of human conception is a fulcrum. Where expansion begins. And differentiation. Back to Infinity. -VonKrankenhaus
  10. Absolutes

    Show us where! -VonKrankenhaus
  11. Absolutes

Light is not absolute. It is relative - it is a wave. Change is absolute. Everything changes. Nothing is ever static. Taoism is studying of Change. -VonKrankenhaus
  12. Socialism does work

Re: ----- "Healthcare and education, the two great golden calfs of politicians." ----- These are concessions, items that cannot be unexploited in governing and controlling people. It's what happens in the parcels of land that were originally stolen by force. These are divided into municipalities and populated with custom-made worker/slaves. "Food" is also essential part of "healthcare" - the part that necessitates it. And media is also essential. Because Monkey must see to do. Systems of organizing the "citizens" are the systems of extracting value from them. While limiting or "governing" them. So when people are debating what system, it is a debate about how people would prefer to be run by rich people. Corporations are straw men set up to protect the rich. And allow the heinous legislated ("made up") protection. So are states and nations, which are mostly also corporations. People living in the hand of an elite. Want to paint the nails of the hand. -VonKrankenhaus
  13. Is this martial art hazardous to your longterm health?

Re: ----- "I'm all for the block that is simultaneously an attack." ----- Yes - we have a "drilling punch" like this. And kicking too. A punching (or kicking) that uses any contact as another lever to get inside opponent arm or leg both hitting and blocking. Maybe I cannot find example video online, or maybe so. -VonKrankenhaus
  14. Generalizations

Re: ----- "'All smokers are damaging their health by smoking cigarettes'. True or false?" ----- There are case histories of many people who developed lung cancer despite never smoking at all. And there are many cases where people have smoked for decades and never developed cancer. China had very many smokers, but very low lung cancer rates. One thing missing from generalizations about this is "dairy". People in China are now eating it. Casien is very hard for human to process. Producing mucus and inflammation in the upper respiratory tract. This is why kids get ear infections. And why both smokers and non-smokers alike develop the same cancers. The western attempt to make citizens into bovine infants does have side effects. But even these are profitable. -VonKrankenhaus
  15. Individual will, reality creation and miracles

Re: ----- "But when we come to understand how a miracle might work, or deja vu, or the placebo we start to get a conscious handle on it And when we have a handle on something it is able to be brought under the jurisdiction of the will." ----- This is what I see as the goal of cultivation - to realize the entirety of Creation into Consciousness. Starting with physical body existence, bringing all "automatic" and "somatic" functions into Consciousness. And going beyond that. -VonKrankenhaus
  16. Is this martial art hazardous to your longterm health?

Re: ----- ",,,but that breathing is plain stupidity in my opinion, I don't know where they took it from, probably from Okinawan karate which is from White Crane kung fu or something Chinese Southern Shaolin " ----- Looking at sanchin kata video, I see techniques that look like bits of shorthand of the two Ta Mo classics. Very very simplified. Southern gongfu exercises like Tid Sin Kuen showing more complex derivation from these classics, but tiny simple bits also visible in karate form. And the breathing - looking like they at one time saw the originals, but extremely simplified these too. Studying this karate versions would probably set people eventually looking for original way - looking to gongfu schools. -VonKrankenhaus
  17. Mastering the Yijing

I have not found one book that could productively explain any of it to a western reader. But this book linked below might be seen as having some basic info: http://www.amazon.com/Ching-The-Book-Changes-Unchanging/dp/0937064815 -VonKrankenhaus
  18. Share your "Suppressing the thinking mind" techniques

Environment is producing thinking. Interaction with environment. We take in minerals, such as salts and metals. Then we seek 7 times the volume in proteins. And carbohydrates and fats. Then we seek 7 times the volume in water. Then 7 times the volume in air. All of this determines expression. Expression is making internal/external balance. Thinking is expression. -VonKrankenhaus
  19. What is Dao?

Re: ----- "It is sort of like watching a person struggle to swim back to shore in a rip current, wondering why they don't just stand up and walk. Until you realize the water is only knee-deep, the suggestion sounds insane." ----- This is an amazing description of the whole of modern "culture". -VonKrankenhaus
  20. Internal Martial Arts & Calistenics

Tid Sin Kuen is also practiced with iron rings stacked on the forearms. As progress, the rings are replaced with thicker ones. There are many ways to do this form, and some are very soft, slow, light, heavy, etc, etc. -VonKrankenhaus
  21. Living off grid

I wonder what is the "grid"? Is it merely the connection to electricity or gas or oil from major corporation/governments? And what is "off-grid"? Is it living outside of or without municipality? Is it not using highways? Is it not believing in education and entertainment from corporations? Is "grid" = "modern civilization"? Or is it just one product or service of that civilization system? -VonKrankenhaus
  22. Internal Martial Arts & Calistenics

This form tid sin kuen is like a combination, and is used as daily calisthenic trainings: -VonKrankenhaus
  23. What is Dao?

Re: ----- "How people can loose "Dao of physicalization"?" ----- I submit as evidence the entirety of modern civilization. "losing Tao" would be like "losing the way" or "losing their way". Which seems to be the goal of all modern "progress". -VonKrankenhaus
  24. What is Dao?

Re: ----- "Question: is it the only possibility Lao Zi discussed or there is something else?" ----- The Old Man knew that physicalization and de-physicalization (spiritualization) are mirror images. -VonKrankenhaus
  25. What is Dao?

Re: ----- "My take is that frogs have the same relation to Dao as scrambled eggs have to the eggs being sat on by a hen. Once you have scrambled the eggs, you've done fission and this is an irreversible process." ----- Tao is change. The idea of "thing" in the western mind is not seeing this. The changes happen according to the order (way) of nature. The way change happens. -VonKrankenhaus
