Most traditional gongfu are "potent systems". And can develop people to traditional standards. If they are traditional people. Modern people are not like traditional people. Modern living is not like ancient or past living. Today many people are obese, autistic, and diabetic in varying degrees. Many people are actually developing cancer. About 50%. And people today have undergone about 18 solid years of corporate brainwashing as children. To take up the objectives of corporations. And are applying this to their studies of internal cultivation. So a "system" that first recovers the human being to a more natural condition. Is probably what is needed first. -VonKrankenhaus

"Society" is just a system of associative thinking produced by corporations according to their needs. It takes about 18 years of overt systematic brainwashing via "education" and "media" to inculcate. In most "developed" areas you will meet people who have been trained to believe in it. Dualism - seeing two things, one or the other. Monism - seeing one thing. "Dulaistic Monism" - seeing complimentary/antagonistic aspects of One. This is how we can using our mind understand things by blowing apart into paired tendencies. We see a "table", for example. We see top and bottom. We see one side and another. I am only learning that there are people discussing internal cultivation, qigong, and all stuff I am involved in for a long time. I had not known that kind of discussions, not known books on these subjects made in the past decades, never saw even TV shows and videos that had been put up. So, now enjoying and looking. Very interesting. ----- 2. what are you practicing? ----- I never can "practice" anymore. It must all be the full performance. So for now, all "practice" is actually "doing". ----- 3. how long have you been practicing? ----- I did practicing for many years - around 45 years. ----- 4. why are you practicing? ----- Originally, because I realized modern way of life was totally wrong. So seeing modern development or "progress" is false. I was 9 years old. Traditional gongfu school was beginning of my studies. ----- 5. what has your practice done for you? ----- Everything I needed it to - everything I envisioned at 9 years. ----- 6. what is the goal? ----- Become human being according to nature, and not so much just another robot slave of a few rich people and their pet scientists. I see that such an act could contribute to the ressurection of humanity from its current state. Such a thing is inevitable. I am one representative of this. This is the perfect time, and I happened to be here for it. ----- 7. what are some things that hold you back? ----- Poisoned "food", ineffective and poison "medicines", corporate brainwashings presented as "education", media "programming", and all the systematic mechanisms employed in making human beings into dependent, sick, mentally stunted fluoride and mercury-soaked ass-monkeys of the corporations (straw men) created by those who believe they "own" or "control" this world but who actually hate and destroy it and everything in it but that which they have altered and made less. Without addressing that stuff first, I saw that people seeking "enlightenment" or even "accomplishment" are just removing a splinter as they are buried in a log jam. It taking people now 30 years to do what is really 3 months of development. The body/mind built from toaster pastries, tortured pigs, drugged cows, and neurotoxic metals is not constructed for understanding YinYang, 5 phases - or even someone saying "hello". It gets a human body to do something, anything, for corporations - buy, sell, work - all useable for them. It gets people to work hard at all the various industries built to shape and control human beings. But it cannot reach reality enough to even see that the feet it is chopping off are it's own. -VonKrankenhaus

The "third eye" is a generalized term for mid-brain structures involved in imaging from/to vibration/waves faster than visible light. It is a function related to perception. Modern people are trained in making thought/idea associations moreso than perceptions. So this "third eye" functionality has been generally marginalized. As such, unfamiliar. In favor of the recognition of psychological constructs. Crafted by corporations and governments for their own purposes. Thus the modern practice of selling "meditation" back to everyone. -VonKrankenhaus

This is the function called "Memory". Of receiving vibration and translation into human-readable image and thought. People have been changed to citizens. Citizens have training to make associations mostly, and not so much making perceptions. So media (trained thought transfer) is existing like an external "memory" that was associated, but not perceived. Apetite for perception atrophies. Ease of association is favored, and the associations merely what would be beneficial for corporations. That's who builds both Media and Education, and an artificial environment and "culture" for these to gain context. Deliberate poisoning defeats the natural process from gaining use and favor again. Leaving people stuck in a realm of idea association - canned, man-made, con jobs. So "third eye" becomes stuff of fantasy stories and tall tales and "paranormal". To regain this functionality, leave those situations and live like a real human being. -VonKrankenhaus

Tao is "Way". Which is something like saying "the How and Why". Or, the "Order". Tao is not really "a process". Tao is not really about "Time" or "Partial". So "Way", and not "Half-Way". Tao is not a "Thing", so also not a "Destination". Tao is not a "Science" or"Method" of (from, by) human making. Tao is inhuman. -VonKrankenhaus

In my family we consider cultivation to be the process of bringing the entirety of creation to mind, to consciousness. So we starting with ourselves and body - to bring these into consciousness. What is "gained or lost"? - or, what is it that we are dealing with? Consciousness. Mind. Not gain or loss. Movement and change. This is what is developing during this life from physical bodily existence. This is what is there when we (body, all relative) "die". This is the "spiritual infant" arising from the physical adult. It's the mid-brain. Center of producing image from vibration. Vibration includes "electro-magnetic spectrum". Eye/visual system is dealing mainly with the "visible light" part of that spectrum. Gut/digestive system is dealing mainly with releasing stored energy from environment from physical manifestations of that environment (including the part of environment we call "food"). Mid-brain organs (glands) and structures are dealing with generating human-useable image (including "thoughts") from (but not limited to) waves/vibrations that are faster than visible ultraviolet light. This mid-brain area is very contracted and is sensitive to expansive chemicals like methanol and fluoride, various chemical salts, metals, chemically-altered fats, etc. So sugar water drinks and foods, booze, lithium, tap water, "psychiatric" drugs, processed food products, fertilizers, and many other common thing in modern living are disabling or impairing this part of human functioning. Thus "image" (including "sense") can be provided from outside of human being - from centrally controlled "media". Media and education providing constant training in associations, thoughts, image-making - also weakening this human functionality for translating vibration directly of environment by the single human in themselves. -VonKrankenhaus

It is hard for people to find truth, much less rest in it. The legal title of "person" (or "citizen") does not require a fully intelligent or even fully human being to inhabit that role. They can be quite diminished yet still function correctly for corporations. They can be quite altered from what nature produces. And they certainly are. -VonKrankenhaus

Did cows lasso, herd, and domesticate themselves? Did humanity? Did humanity design birth management so as to reduce its own intelligence? Did humanity dumb itself down with toxic food and chemicals? Yes, this is the crossroads. The next couple of decades could truly determine the fate of humanity. It is true that a major part of humanity is degenerating while a smaller number are lately working to reduce this trend. The "optomistic" idea of modern corporations is that people will be able to "upload" their "brain" to a computer inside of a machine. Which means they are eliminating human beings and leaving only programmed machines in their place. Mentally entranced people call this "the singularity". So maybe there will be one single human left to run all the machines? It's all just a fake legend in a false mythology. Of false "progress". -VonKrankenhaus

It is a common theme lately that "technology" will "save" people. It is very hard for most people to predict. But hindsight is 20-20. Looking back on the past 65 years of "technology" we can see hard evidence of the "saving" that "technology" has accomplished for people. Rates of degeneration have risen astronomically - cancer, heart disease, medical mistakes - these are just the 3 leading causes of death. But there is diabetes, autism, MS, and many many other degenerative conditions also rampant. 100 years ago, almost all of these were relatively unheard of. So this diminishment of human beings that has been accomplished by "technology" - how is it suddenly going to become the exact opposite of what it has always been? Humans are a rare animal that has conscious control over its own evolution. Interestingly, few are now actually fully conscious. Currently, they are artificially grown and maintained in a temporary worldwide industrial system. They have been domesticated as worker/consumer existing to further develop this system. This sort of custom human has no real connection to the prior evolution of life that has included humans. Because they are merely parts of a system that is temporary. Real human life as manifesting naturally from Heaven and Earth remains to be fully explored in the modern era. -VonKrankenhaus

No medicine or herb can heal people. Healing is a function. Some things can "help" healing functions. By far, most do not. Healing is not so important as not making sick. Stop making sick, and "healing" is not necessary. ALL medicine business today is psuedoscience and selling and misinformation. -VonKrankenhaus

Once one become yang, they are attracting yin. Make more yin, and yang is coming. How many yinyang relations are you? How do you balance all of these? You do not. They are balancing you. However - human being has intelligence, discernment. To be humble and learn. -VonKrankenhaus

To me, gongfu is "work". The work we must do. The work is to render the body and universe and all of creation to consciousness, to mind. Same way "yoga". -VonKrankenhaus

People have had around 2000 years to think about that. And made nothing of it. And now comes the new religion of "science". With the god called "Industry". Which seems to have the same fondness for killing and wrecking. And commandments (laws) for people that it also disregards. -VonKrankenhaus

It's another example of the "progress" that people have been entranced into building for their owners. Plugged into corporate constructs and given fear, people will apparently build whatever they are told to. Because it will "protect" them. Against what? People with bombs? So to protect, they will detonate their own bomb in their own yard? Seems irrational. That's why there is media and education. To make the insane seem actually necessary.
