  1. UFO Thread - Sightings/Information

Do people feel that beings from other planets have put their bodies into space ships and flown them to earth? Is the general idea that this is possible because these beings would have "advanced" knowledge of how to defeat the problems we have encountered with that kind of space travel? The problems are extreme. Are people familiar with them? -VonKrankenhaus
  2. Is Nakazono still alive? I am more in the Taoist camp personally, but I did meet Nakazono and some of his students many years ago, and have studied kotodama extensively. Kotodama is also part of the study of modern macrobiotics. Ueshiba, the founder of aikido, was at George Ohsawa's (founder of macrobiotics) funeral. Anciently, these are all part of the same practices. But today they are separated, and different. The 5 phases/5 sounds connection is a real one though - but nothing like the whole story. -VonKrankenhaus
  3. Removing Chakras

Tonsils are energetically related to the testicles. The uvula is energetically related to the penis. Similar energetics are forming these below the brain as the reproductive organs at the bottom of the torso. Functionally, they excrete enzyme/immune substances that deal with elements that are eaten, inhaled, and coughed-up. Removing these causes weakness in immunity and also sexual functioning. -VonKrankenhaus
  4. How To Reckon "Past Lives" With Time

We are travelling in a spiral through space and time. Earth rotating around Sun is making corkscrew in orbit around center of Galaxy. The past is the outer arms of the spiral, the present is the inner arms. If we draw a line through the spiral, we can see that line touches all the arms. Rotating around, we meet the "line" - a similar period in time. We are then likely to receive energy still coming from those points. There are many interelated spirals, thus complexity. -VonKrankenhaus
  5. Removing Chakras

Chakras are points at which heaven and earth's forces meet and spiral, along the central channel. Cannot be "removed". Modern way of living and eating is doing plenty towards an equivalent though. -VonKrankenhaus
  6. The meaning of Tao?

Imagine the way of making a sandwich. It isn't a thing. It's a way. Now imagine the way of everything. -VonKrankenhaus
  7. On "Describing" the Dao

People writing about Tao like it is some mystical, ineffable thing that they must attain through some spiritual process. It is more like "the manner in which" or "the order of". An example in simple term might be like considering the way water molecules arrange when water is liquid, frozen, and evaporating. The manner of, or, the way, in which this happens is not the water, and not a "thing" in and of "itself". Not a thing we can pick up and put in a jar, etc. But "it" is "how". -VonKrankenhaus
  8. iS IT immoral to own a business?

Re: ----- "As a side, I like this chain of reasoning, but I would argue that there is no such thing as 'stolen land' because land cannot be owned, only occupied. So both the 'theft' and 'original ownership' are imaginary." ----- That's what I wrote. All imaginary. But - If a state issues you a summons for some sort of violation of state law, and you ask in court "Is there any evidence of a Plaintiff?", then this issue comes to the forefront. The Plantiff is imaginary. -VonKrankenhaus
  9. Opinions? Krishnamurti on Self-Realization

Yes. All very interesting. There is much more than what's in that article, but what a story. -VonKrankenhaus
  10. Opinions? Krishnamurti on Self-Realization

I met Krishnamurti. He was an interesting person. -VonKrankenhaus

  12. iS IT immoral to own a business?

Morals and ethics change. They change into whatever would be of advantage to those who change them. Business is a thing registered with a municipailty. The municipality is the air space above some stolen land. People are registering so that the use of the stolen land stays orderly for the municipality. The municipality is a company/business itself, started by the people who stole the land. The laws that are taken to govern the municipality are commercial laws. Morality and ethics become more serious lower on the control structure, and less serious higher up. No worries though - it's all imaginary. -VonKrankenhaus

  14. Qi gong feats

Re: ----- "vonKrankenhaus, you appear to be in your own world." ----- Maybe just not having the same experience in this one as some others. Maybe. But I did study these things, and for what is becoming a fairly long time. Looking for more videos. Maybe I will make some soon too. -VonKrankenhaus
  15. What we call "food" is actually the environment. Vegetal life has created animal life. Microbial life has created both. Human "diet" or "range of foods" extends from the densest minerals to cosmic vibrational phenomena. Cut off from natural environment by training and herding, modern human being is at a loss about "what to eat", which is to say "how to relate to the environment". So they have been confused, reduced to relating to clowns used as advertising, to authority figures, beliefs about "science", and all kind of things nobody can actually eat. -VonKrankenhaus
  16. Qi gong feats

Yes, dian xue. Does anyone here study this? It is also fairly common. I didn't think to include this study in looking for video showing "qigong feats", because these techniques are not so much about qi as about other things. But there are techniques in that study which do use qi projection and no-touching, and also that separate from time. Not seeing video of these and not surprised - but looking to see if anyone made any. Also - funny to see chinese TV show looking so exactly like american ones. Hmmm. -VonKrankenhaus
  17. Qi gong feats

Yes - all of this is ordinary studies, and well-known. Full lotus - yes, this is basic, and that guy is doing it. I don't know about today - just recently finding out what is online, etc. There are actually many videos of usual iron shirt kind of qigong demonstrations - bending spear on throat, breaking cinder blocks with sledge hammer, breaking wooden pole against front of neck, etc - most people in gongfu scene must have seen many many times by now. Many video also of shaolin monks doing these, etc. The guy with the animals - can easily be a real demonstration. Been discussed here, too. I'm looking for more, also looking for not so much iron shirt but other studies, qi projection, etc. -VonKrankenhaus
  18. Qi gong feats

Yes. This is iron shirt qigong. These are all fairly standard demonstrations. Pretty good. Just saw it sitting there after that other video ended. I was learning like this also as a kid and teenager. I am looking for more videos that show real skills or "feats", and will post links when I find good ones. -VonKrankenhaus
  19. Qi gong feats

I noticed this video listed after the "fantasy/reality" video was done playing. This is some demonstration of iron shirt qigong results of these particular people: -VonKrankenhaus
  20. To the TCM experts here....

Re: ----- "Source, please? Could you explain how those relate to physical balance & double vision?" ----- The source of the comment was VonKrankenhaus. Liver related to eyes. Kidney related to ears. Wood and Water energies, respectively. No need for me to reiterate 10,000 online sources of 5 phases diagrams, but that is one way to familiarize with organ/environment energetics. And just making a very general comment, not detail, because no real details were given to go further. -VonKrankenhaus
  21. To the TCM experts here....

    Liver. Kidney also involved. -VonKrankenhaus
  22. a call to arms for all people practicing Asian health arts

Re: ----- "VK, Suggest Patanjali, btw, no one can prove anything to you, you must prove it for yourself. (or just have for more concepts floating around)" ----- Patanjali did not teach any of today's yogis and did not teach what we call "yoga" today. Those sutras are philosophical writings, not descriptions of bodily practices as we think of today as "yoga". So that's a total non-answer. Got anything more real than just suggesting a 1600+yr old text that everyone is already familiar with? Again, I'm not trying to be antagonistic - it's just that what you have written as answers to this is just so much running around and not any substantial answer. -VonKrankenhaus
  23. a call to arms for all people practicing Asian health arts

Re: ----- "VK, I was very fortunate and found or was given contact with a true guru, thus that is something which is not a maybe or of speculation for me..." ----- This is a "yoga" guru? What kind of "yoga"? That's an issue in this thread - not so much "can anyone meet a guru", but "what is "authentic" Indian Yoga"? So - what is "authentic" Indian Yoga? -VonKrankenhaus
  24. a call to arms for all people practicing Asian health arts

Re: ----- "one would have to do a fair amount of research and see what they think about various eye witness accounts, (of various well recognized teachers) then they would have to go out on their own and try to verify such research regardless of what a Krishna-whoever said whatever whenever... or one could just roll over without getting their own proofs" ----- So, you don't know. "Recognized teachers" would be whom? Iyengar? Patabhi Jois? - they learned from "Krishna-whoever"!!! Did you "just roll over" without getting your own proofs? Not trying to be antagonistic here in any way. Just pointing out that people don't know what "authentic" yoga is, but they someohow imagine it is out there and "someone" must know. Like they think about "scientific studies" that prove various medical treatments are safe or effective - most of the time no such studies actually exist, but people "believe" (imagine) they do. -VonKrankenhaus
  25. Connecting the opposites... What could that mean?

Re: ----- "Iff.all that EXists is one, existing thing, Then what is not manifest is that which is not existing=. Monist view. That a thing can and does have an opposite, = dualism Your view? That the only thing that exists has an opposite, which doesnt exist.=dualistic monism Or sometimes a thing has an intellectual opposite but materially speaking there are no opposites =Stosh view= Common sense." ----- That is some real confusion. Ever examine a chessboard, taiji symbol, or cross? They are maps, roadmaps through this concept of One, Two, physical, nonphysical, etc. -VonKrankenhaus
