I often feel that the energy I am interacting with is not light. Light is too slow. Finer, tighter vibration than the light spectrum. Instantaneous. But this is with other wavelengths like light, after which matter is producing and un-producing. Compared to this, qi energy as cultivated in qigong is very relative and dense. Different speed of vibration, density, different part of vibrational spectrum. I have had experience of dissolve into white light. What I am discussing is beyond that experience, beyond light of any kind. It is before and after light. From it, light is forming and unforming. It is like being in one part of "mind" (not a "human mind") that is actually all the other parts at same time. Human will touches this, blooming and retracting into the spectrum in various ways. It is inhuman, but before and after human. It is nothing that is more full and powerful than something without having any parts or substance, even at the level of light. -VonKrankenhaus

People are selling "spiritual things" From a "metaphysical subcategory" Other people are deciding what will be allowed in what categories. This is to manage "issues that can be difficult to resolve". Okay. Do I understand correctly when it seems that it is okay to "sell" a "spiritual thing" as long as the "value" isn't just taken to be "spiritual" but is actually just the "tangible" "value" of the "spiritual thing" without any "value" attached to any "spiritual" aspects or associations made about the "spiritual thing"? So the "sentimental" value of an item like, for example, a hair ribbon owned by Marilyn Monroe - that's okay as long as we understand it is simply a hair ribbon that is being sold? What about "intellectual value"? Banned, except maybe, for example, as selling only or mainly a "paragraph of text"? "Historical value"? What about something said to be "useful"? So if the tablets that Moses brought down from the mountain were to be sold, it would have to be mainly as "rocks"? Otherwise,,, they might not perform as advertised? There might be "issues that are difficult to resolve"? Seems like all of advertising must be banned. Meanwhile, the spiritual realm must be made at least tangible in order to be "legally" sold? MooNiNite - I was not being rude. I have never bought or looked to buy anything from internet, ever. I have never bought or looked to buy "supernatural goods and services". So such places or businesses "banning" what they have on web sites is not in my experience. Couple years ago I am living with animals and insects. Never see these issues. Is it possible to "support" oneself? Does this mean living accomodations? Access to food? Isn't the Earth our accomodations? What is "food"? Is it a product - or is it the part of the environment we put through our internal processes? Wouldn't a "sage" be able to figure this out? -VonKrankenhaus

Qi is not electricity as we know it. But qi has actions or qualities something like electricity. There is polarity - YinYang. This polarity is creating movement, change. Same way electricity "works". Same way also something like thermodynamics works too. Electricity and heat/movement are "functioning like qi". But qi is not these "things" as seen by a material physical outlook or view. Is gravity a thing? We associate things with gravity, such as saying about the gravity of a thing - "the earth's gravity", we say. This is not like when we say "the earth's atmosphere" with the concept of the atmosphere being a thing. Change is where to look. Hooking up to electric: There is qi there, but not in the "electricity". In the movement. Powerful electric has much movement and movement potential which is "generating" or "where we are seeing" qi - but qi is not the electricity that western science sees or names. Qi "is like" the ideas of electricity, gravity, magnetism - but once qi is actually understood in the west, the ideas held now about these things might change. Intellectual tools for examining qi in traditional way are seen in taiji symbol, 5 phases, lo shou, i ching. People here do understand electricity, gravity, and magnetism via these? As I see it, "aging" is not really so much related to chronological age. It is more of a "cause and effect" issue. We are the result of what we do. And it is true that people who see physical decline will often shift their emphasis towards intellectual and spiritual development. This is in line with normal human development and growth, because our physical existence is developing our consciousness in the same way our placenta was developing our body. At full maturity, the body will fall down and die, and the consciousness will continue as a spirit body or consciousness body, a vibrational structure. This is the process of dematerialization which begins at conception. As conception is the endpoint of our materialization. -VonKrankenhaus

Our physical conception occurs in the all-dark water realm of the womb. We exist there in 2 parts - placenta and body. Placenta is building the part that will be born. We are then born into the half-light/half-dark air realm. The placenta dies and falls away. The body moves horizontally there, over the surface of the Earth. The body is also existing in 2 parts in this air realm - "body" and "head". Body is reaching full growth in about 18-21 years. Head is continuing, developing "consciousness". Upon "death" in this air realm, physical body dies and falls away. Body was "placenta" and consciousness is new "spirit body". I guess this is just another area of inquiry defeated by "logic". Logic must suffice when experience and understanding are passed by. But I will "illogically" write it again - the light bulb video is showing a trick, not qi cultivation. I do not write this out of love of "logic". I do not write this as a demonstration of "logic". Logic is useless for me. It got left behind like a pen that ran out of ink. In the 45+ years I have been studying and training in qigong and neigong. Electric qi I first became interested in about 1964. About 13 countries I travelled, meeting many people. I have many many experiences with this. But almost no "logic" whatseover for you. Are people looking for the decoder ring here? Anyone who can light up a 400-watt light bulb can blow a VOM meter all over the place, and would do so before or instead of doing lightbulb gag. There are LED bulbs that light up with very low voltage off a hearing aid battery. There are LED bulbs that will light up if we touch them to a powered surface and then ground them by just touching a finger. Examples I give do not require electricity and do not really produce electricity. But are examples of qi cultivation. Guy who stops insect - meters put between him and insect read nothing as insect stops and falls. Does anyone here actually do qigong, or actually study electricity? I have train qigong and neigong now for over 40 years, and that after several years studying other things, and studying many other things during that. 13 different countries I go and meet various people, study. I have seen people fly up and hit 12-foot ceilings from standing still. I have seen people make sparks fly off of objects. I have seen people change the weather back and forth on command. I have seen people point at a flying insect and the insect instantly fall down on the ground, then they point again, even hours later, and insect gets up and fly away. I knew a guy that could hold up his palm for a moment and knock people down, make a huge palm bruise appear on chest or back. I actually cannot list all the things I have seen related to this subject - too many. But I have seen many many tricks, too, in demonstrations of all kinds. My thought is that all of these things we can look at today are really just remnants and reconstitutions of something much older. I see that ancient artifacts and markings and structures show much thought in common over a wide range, even worldwide. But all of these are lacking due to so many alterations over the last modern era, on top of changes already happening for thousands of years - since last disaster. There is a substantial amount of info on "bioelectricity" studies of all types both online and in books & other media. Robert O. Becker's book "The Body Electric" is a consumer classic intro. There are studies all over about electric eels, rays, and other animals that are fairly detailed. The popular book "The Secret Life of Plants" also has some basic material about bioelectric effects. Most kids had played with analog TVs and radios, waving their hands and changing receptions, etc. There are joke shops probably that still sell "electric man" gag, with little battery pack. Books on stage magic and electronic hobby exist showing many more. There are many musings and thoughts about bioelectricity in some of Yang Jwing Ming's early books that reveal how distant this subject has actually been in traditional qigong trainings.. So there are many parts of an introduction to this subject around. Also info about biophotons and biomagnetism. Menstruation is the female way of casting off excess contractive and "yang" factors to retain femaleness. So women who eat a lot of meat and animal fat (especially eggs, as mentioned) and salt will have more intense periods with more discharge. Vegetarian women avoiding all animal foods and eating very moderately would have less to deal with in menstruation. The male wayof casting off excess "yin" factors to retain maleness is mainly through external activity, but also in the production and discharge of semen and sperm.
