    Thera are many things that can happend at your will, starting with vibrations in your body, healling your body, healing someone elses body up to manifesting things and events at your will. Doesn't mean that it is necessary to do. Doesn't mean that it will bring any reasult either. Some say that it is even a waste of time. The problem is that it can be fascinating and misleading. Different phenomena like yours can occure daily for years, everyday something different, at your will and withouth your will... And if you put your attention on it it will just make it grow, and that can put one in delusion for lifetimes I suggest you gently to go and find a real teacher. It can save you some years of spinning in one place and anxiety or some mental destabilisation when practice will progress and more ennergy will be moved (doesnt mean that it will happend but just in case). if already things like that can happend then I would say that you have potentiall and it would be good to use it properly since the beginning.

    Just another phenomena. It vibrates then it stops, then it come back, and leave. It comeas and goes. Nothing to bother about. Yet I understan that one can get excited about it when first experienced. My sugestion is not to pay to much attention to it nor put any special meaning to it. Its nothing bad or wrong, nor good or special . , sometimes your whole body can start vibrating and you don't know weather the building is vibrating or just your body. when you will asume that there is a meaning in it then you can project it and will meet confirmations of its meaning in external world and can stick to it for some time, yet it isn't truth. Just practice according to what your teacher suggested to you, different phenomena can come, with time you wont pay too much attention to them

    Things like that happend and can last for a few days or weeks only to come back to normal. If it's not caused by anxiety then there is nothing to worry about. But I understand how it is to lie in bed for hours and trying to fall in sleep. Your body maybe don't need as much sleep at this moment. more physical activity helps. I don't know if you work, how do you spend the day. Dont eat 2 hours before going to sleep. If it will last for more than 2 weeks go visit a doctor or an ayurvedic medic even now (he can give you a nice mixture of herbs that can help quickly. Never try to solve things on your own through some energetic work adviced on internet forum - it can meke things even worse, use common sense.

    I will just say - go and find the realised teacher that will answer your questions. The knowledge of scriptures is nothing when dealing with real problems come and phenomena that you dont have idea of arise. And real teacher can tell you how to sit and when to stop sitting. I almost fried myself and lost consciousness several times after trying to practice jhana on my own withouth proper guidance and I also sat for long periods. Sorry but this topic just moved me to say it. I know that people will come and read it and think to themselves - "okay so it means that long periods of sitting are better and better to not move ones legs when meditating". Cause that's the presupposition comming out of it. I saw people that have sat for more than 30 years in fixed lotus position and now the only way they can sit is with straight legs or on the chair cause otherwise it is impossible for their knees. Long periods are not good cause one thinks that it is good. It can be actually harmfull so sometimes simple blanket is better since the boddy can tell you to stop when it is time for stop. I just say it to make peole think before they try to copy someones ideas from the internet

    Sorry in advance, but thinking that sitting motionless is a proper meditation is a big misunderstanding. I don't know why this thinking is so common. You actually can move. Since the mind shoud allow everything to flow through it - it is not limited only to thoughts. Body is not exception. It actually moves in deep meditation, you can emit sounds that you don't know that you are able to emit, and perform pranayamas like a pro withouth even knowing what pranayama is and which one you are doing. Spirit brings it into life surpassing average human knowledge. Thinking that meditation should be cozy and calm is really wrong. It can be like that as well but not through forcing it. My friend, sometimes when she meditates makes her neighbours think that she is having some naughty sex orgy. There are not too many people who will allow this to happend. For example (it is also meditation): all that happends durring meditation
  8. Your most amazing spiritual experience?

    My teacher said that there is nothing wrong in scharring spiritual experiences with people. But better to do it only with people who are really interrested in spirituality. Also one need to be sensitive not to say too much cause someone you talk to can be just a beginner - they can take you as someone way above their level. Other thing - spiritual materialism, some say that better not to build up your ego, yet this attachement to spiritual experiences is only temporary, sooner or later you will find out that sometimes you were sharring things out of pride. Things need to be internalized before sharing, otherwise it feels empty... If you had real spiritual experiences - you will just crave to talk about it to people. It is fascinating topic, and you aill find out that other do have simmilar experiences that you have.

    I had a few insights into it, most of them when standing in the presence of my teacher. So it just "feels" like there is just nothingness of which everything is made. This knowledge when met for the first time started to render me, changing my body structure, the way I think, see, hear etc. Weather you want or not, you are just becoming more and more peacefull when this process continues. Just Vastnes withouth form, of which all forms are made - id does not even appear as if all is made of emptiness - all is emptiness. It sounds really strange but it just appears like that. You find yourself floating in it, made of it
  10. It will vanish with time. But you shoud practice it with guidance of a teacher to save yoursef a lot of misunderstanding. Semen retention concept is taken from the natural yogic process that occur spontaneously after initiation from the sat guru when there is a proper time for it, it occurs after spontaneously falling into celibacy. You simply know that it is right at this moment and you actually cant have sex and cant look at women the same way as previously. It highlights your tendencies It means that it is not necessary good for everyone. Applying semen retention or celibacy because you have read that it is good is really wrong thing to do and it tells about inner dellusions more. It is as if telling to the beginner of yoga to start his practice with sitting in lotus asana - he will broke his legs - the same will happend to semen retention practicionner. It appears that it is nothing special, but actually this is really strong energy. The side effects can be psyhollogical as well as it can bring some nasty illnes, pain and it can even literally squeze your body in spasmatic convulsions for hours. Thats not a joke. Diet change should go naturally in celibacy, otherwise it is like walking with burning oven made of your body. cutting coffeine, salt, eggs, meat, fish, fastfood, hot tastes etc....
  11. Thanks. My experience with trances was like you said - at the beginning when it happened spontaneously I did not know what was it. At that point I had no guidance and it seemed plesant so I felt into addiction and assumptions that achieved something, but then I met my teacher and he cautioned me not to indulge trance states - to see the line between wilingly perpetuating these states and just allowing them to happend naturally. He also showed how to come back to the body after drifting out. In his presence all my previous assumptions were crashed. I've been often falling into trance states with enormous intensity (or I think it was like that) when being in his presence or flows of movements (don't know the difference yet) - for example when attending to his darshan my body sometimes just did assans and mudras that I did not know that exist out of nowhere and it was as if I could not help - the same with savicalpa samadhi - just falling into it after hearing a few words. But I never educated myself what are these trance states so thats why I asked you and still don't know how to recognise weather it is a trance state, meditation, sponteanous flow or something else. How to recognise if one is in trance or not?
  12. Hello Spotless, I often read here and what makes me think is your oppinion on trance states. I dont know exactly what do you mean by trance? There are yogic teachers who promotes trance states of which different body movenents emerge, like asamas, pranayamas, mudras. In yogis traditions there is an old concept of cosmic trance that reveals secrets of yoga and these of existence- that is born from initiation by a guru. So am curious weather you stay in contradiction to it or do you talk about other thing. Have you ever practiced pranayama?
  13. Question about mystical experiences

    Seems that these experiences can be sideeffects of approaching enlightenment. It is just process that can last some time, not only in one instant second, cause the physical body and energetical centers need to ajust. I some traditions different experiences are understood as merkers on the path and they ensure ones developement. For example the heart chakra oppening can be accompanied by a lot of things that will change your perspective of preceiving the world forever. When you don't know what it was, but you are confussed, you just go to the guru and tell him about your experience - he then explain it to you, ensure/ test you etc. And it can be a big relieve, yet it can bring temporary attachement too. But spiritual experiences can be endless and they may not constitute anything particullar withouth being established in the eternal in who one is. These are not my words, but it is what I've heard from my teacher when I described to him events that I've been through on a period of months. I've been deluded about them, yet they had their own meaning but I was drunk of them. There is also danger when one is not preppared for these experiences - when there is lack of understanding and lack of someone who can help you with classifying these events unless your conscioussnes matures enought for you to walk on your own feet. There is a lot of bullshit informations on the web that can mislead someone and put one in wrong assumptions - I remember someone told me thet he had this "enlightement" experience for 2 weeks, but then it subsided and he want it back. So if it subsided then it was something else..... and some even start fooling themselfes, and can even became teachers.... yet they are constitued only at the witness state... but then you go further and this huge burning question arises - what was it? and then you loos interest in the world and you want to know only the truth - nothing else matters for you anymore, you can't think of anything else than practice, GOD, LOVE, whole life becomes sadhana
  14. Emotions and spirituality

    The goal you talk about happends through relasing all uncried tears, unexpressed pain, held back sadness and happiness etc. these things lie down in psychic centers that makes you inprissoned there, and keeps you away from freedom. It is relases through the phisiology of your body gradually. This happends through meditation spontanously, withouth any "doing". If someone tells that he or she is getting rid of emotional-blocks through doing or clening this or that step by step according to this or that path then this person does not know what he or she talks about. First of all - you simply do not know where these residues lies, and what they are. Yo may think that you know and that there is something to clean, but this is just wrong assumption. It does not need to go from chakra to chakra, one by one like in the book. Putting any discrimination on lower chakras does not serve the purpose either. Lower does not mean worse, thats still part of you, doesnt matter if you are merged in beatific feeling ow upoer chakras or you smell your ow shit in order to know if the digestive process went good. It cleans on its own and on its own pace, you can only culture it through commiting to the practice. Thats the only thing you can do.

    At least that's my experience. Am going through spontaneous pranayamas period now and a few days ago I felt really bad fo an hour. Really strong Nausea. I just looked into the mirror at the gas station right after it and there was something different. As if more rich collour , more alive redness hehhe. I really liked to look at my face in that moment - "am looking really great". Before I usually had no impression when looking into the mirror or I had this sensation that you have sometimes when seeing yourself on the picture or video - "thats me, thats how I look? :(". I checked next days, and it stayed. My friend who havent seen me for a moth or more, when I showed her my picture said "how on earth you can change so quickly?". So I suspect that there is something going on, but am not sure what exactly. Now when I write it down I remember that I even saw in Sri Swami Sivanandas book "The science of pranayama" a note that pranayamas make you more handsome hahha .

    Is the place where you sleep related to your familly members? Parents, brother, sister? These things that you described happend to people who meditate or practice other way. I often time woke up or went sleep, weeping withouth the reason. There is nothing wrong in crying. If you cry "withouth the reason" it only means that there are tears to cry out that you held back in your past. I had these very loud cracking sounds in my ears and shakes along the spine too. Also iritated eyes, actually my eyes hurted as if being cooked, could not look at any bright objects like laptop screen. All this was temporary, but there was a lot of anxiety to it. I dont think that it is related to the chemistry of your place but can be related to emotional relation to this place. The most helpfull would be to see some good ayurvedic medic, he could help you with ballancing yourself. Getting rid of anxiety., and also to see some teacher who teaches energetic transformations. A lot of teachers deny that these stuff is related to practice - these are not good ones

    What kind of shaking? As if more to one side of the body? Can you describe these shakes more preciseley? Where in your head the crack is located? On the top? Does it hurt? Do you hear this cracking or just feel it? It does not necessary mean anything wrong. Yet your assumptions that something is wrong can make you anxious. Do you practice any meditation, yoga or sth?

    I consider living on Earth really funny too. Yet I've been watching an interview with sri M and he said that he saw Snake like beings that talks on Earth and then went to see their planet in another galaxy. He said that we actually can travel to other planets in deep sleep....

    My teacher told me once - no matter how much you bless out, always try to come back into 5 elements and ground yourself there. Feel the gravity, pay bills. You can stay, blessed out for weeks, but there is always floor to clean. And - you are okay, everything is all right with you, never ever try to doubdt in yourself, all changes will come when there will be the time. But also do not fool yourself - ride the horse, do not let the horse ride you, be smart about the life and spirituality
