  1. From experience, the inner heart. This is where man holds the Covanent of Unity with his Creator.
  2. Being probed..maybe..

I've had similar experiences before. I've also had experiences of opening up energy channels and releasing blockages that were so strange when they first started that paranoia got the best of me. When something 'unknown' begins to happen, the mind automatically tries to define it based on random associations. Sometimes what it attributes to the experiences are ridiculus and makes for a good laugh Your experience could very well be something like chakra or meridian clearing or activating.. Any influx of energy at a higher vibrational rate will push out lower vibrational rates. But don't quote me on that...
  3. Principles in Taoist Alchemy

The 'Soul' is an interesting subject. I'm not familiar with the term Ling, but I can speak on the Anima Mundi, or the Soul of the World. Anima Mundi is like blood. For blood to be useful, it needs a body to flow through. The blood and the body are made of the same thing, through adaptation. This is what the Emerald Tablet of Hermes talks about. The body is the Fixt Point, the so-called Mysterious Female (yin). The blood is Ling (yang), and flows to the center (the center of the female is the womb).
  4. Have you said something about all this to your brother?
  5. I see where you're coming from now. Its good to know this perspective, cause I know little about aggripa. Looking forward to your future posts.
  6. No problem, but I never quoted from a Wikipedia page. Which page are you talking about? I am looking forward to reading your perspective on these topics Because I disagree with the idea that Kether should be considered 'the One'. My studies have led me to believe that Kether doesn't exist individually in Atziluth, it needs the tension through Binah and Chokmah in order to maintain itself. One reason Kether is considered so incomprehensible by Qabalists is because it is a gateway between the force of Ohr Ain Soph, and the form it's molded into by the Unmoved Mover called Ain Soph. There really isn't anything there besides the vortex of the tzimtzum before 'Kether' splits apart to further manifestation. All manifestation is the result of a Trinity. Otherwise Ain Soph's dream of Kether dissolves back into what I would more rightly consider 'the One' of Ohr Ain Soph (Limitless Light), and then back into the 'sleeping dreamer' Ain Soph (Unmoved Mover/Limitlessness/the One/Small Face/YHVH/etc.), and finally back to Ain (the NOT/Vast Face/). This idea explains the hermetic Axiom of Maria: "One becomes two, two becomes three, and out of the third comes the one as the fourth." I agree with this perspective, the motion of the Unmoved Mover/Unchanged Changer is always inwards.
  7. Lol... But this is the whole point of internal alchemy, to set the soul on fire and begin to cook it (sublimation). If you're doing it correctly, physical heat will be generated. The thing you want to watch out for is heating the Numinous Spirit too much (and thereby burning yourself through nervous exhaustion) and not heating it enough, in which no development ensues. The cauldron is already there, you just have to reinforce it with practice
  8. Hello Zhongyongdaoist, I very much like your posts in this thread; they seem to line up (partly) to ideas presented in the mystical qabalah -- 'four worlds of creation' as the four causes, the Ain as the unmoved mover, the Twenty-Two Letters as substantial forms, and etc. For example: Could be viewed from the perspective of: "a Letter necessarily possesses at least one substantial form. The substantial form of the letter S consists of S's essential properties [sound, shape, and with gematria, quantity; Franz Bardon includes colours as an essential property of Letters as well], the properties the S needs in order to be the kind of Letter that S is." Of course, the letter S has many forms. Hebrew, Sanskrit, Arabic, Russian, English... Very interesting stuff you've presented.
  9. The Moon is Kool. Its a luminous mirror that reflects the energies of the 27 lunar mansions, 12 zodiac signs and the four elements. They (yes, 'They'! ) say that if you focus the light of the full moon onto a sponge, you can squeeze out a whitish-blue water that is the substance of the moon herself! Last night the full moon was in Cancer, so it was particularly powerful. As for moon experiences, I always know when it moves into Leo because I can feel the fiery quality. And I have a phone app telling me when it changes signs
  10. Only when I Will it The practice of transferring your spiritual energy onto someone else is called Shaktipat.. Just beware of what might get sent back. Its a good idea to ground yourself first. Also note, that if you transfer energy onto someone else with an Intention attached to it, its considered Black Magick (imposing your will on someone else without permission). Universal Love is good for everyone. Like being O Negative blood type
  11. Just started reading Tao, The Pathless Path

Nope I agree with silent thunder.
  12. When your first drawing it out of the scrotum, each point along the orbit is one breath. Once it feels like it's moving more freely, use the 'four cardinal points', one breath for each. And once it flows easily through these, one inhalation should take it from bottom to top, and the exhalation from top to bottom. Don't force it along its path. Also, everyone else is right in saying that this practice requires a yogic diet, and remaining pure in mind as well. Bit if you've been celibate for a year now I think you'll have no problems at all once you get the feel for it
  13. The generative force is volitalized before erection, when the energy in your scrotum is considered 'yin'. Focus on the cool energy, or any 'tingling' sensation inside your testes and draw it up the spine nice and slowly. Then down the front of your body and into the 'cauldron' of your lower dantien (just in front of, and slightly above the sacrum bone) through the navel. If you keep it in the 'cauldron' it will just move back to the testes. So do some 'quick fire abdominal breathing' (like puffing in and out) before circulating it through the microcosmic orbit for say... 36-48 revolutions in order to volatilize it. If you're looking for a good beginners guidebook, I recommend Mantak Chia's Secrets of Taoist Love. It's what I started out with, and written for a western audience. In fact, all his books are recommended for a serious study of energy sublimation practices. This should be enough to keep you busy for another year
  14. Heart Fire, Transcendence

The Heart is the human condition Ego clouds the Heart by giving it definitions it doesn't need.
  15. Hey Skyreach The foundation of internal alchemy is volatilizing the fixt generative force, and then fixing Spirit in the newly volitalized generative force. Toaist Yoga calls the generative force 'Essence', and the Fixt Spirit 'Vitality', if i remember correctly (and have the right book in mind )
  16. Just started reading Tao, The Pathless Path

Hey satsujin, Kool name Did you know that most shamans go through episodes of epilepsy and psychotic breakdowns? (According to Mircea Eliade)
  17. What exactly IS the law of duality ?

First off, thanks for your replies TaoMaster. It's put some things in perspective for me Life lasts forever which is why I think, at the very beginning 'Being' is equally balanced. 1+1=1 sort of mentality.. Newton was an alchemist, so his theories have to be looked at from an alchemical perspective. I also don't think there's a huge difference between life the creator of all things and life forms. We're created out of the Creator, so at our most fundamental point, we are the same. I agree
  18. And its a good idea, but any time you bridge a gap, you have to consider alternative definitions and perspectives. Throwing them out right away and becoming defensive is not constructive. Keep an open mind and contemplate the questions asked, this helps you broaden the understanding of your own beliefs. It is a difficult thing to do, because your foundations are being rattled. And in my opinion, the best books to read in order to understand Genesis are "the true and natural path of hermes", basil valentine's "12 Keys", the whole works of Paracelsus, among others..
  19. It wasn't too long of a post Melchizedek is one person I've always been curious about but had never followed up on. Are there any other works attributed by him, or about him, that you would recommend? Back to the topic of the Bronze Serpent, it is an interesting image in alchemy. It symbolizes "fixing the volatile", which equates to cocting Mercury to make an 'Elixir'. At least that's how the symbol is popularly defined. The practice results in a Quintessence, as described by Paracelsus: Describes the history/life of Jesus quite well doesn't it?
  20. Very interesting about Adam's reincarnation as Jesus to atone. I've never heard of this before. Thanks for elaborating
  21. Hey there jyakulis Interesting statement. If the Spirit is incorporeal, and the body is corporeal, how is it that the two can mix together and make the Soul? I understand the three channels along the spine, but that doesn't really account for manifestation...
  22. Sounds to me like she thought you were cute It could be lots of reasons though. I agree with ThisLife.
  23. Hey DreamBliss I've done similar things in the past, its quite helpful for sorting things out! I enjoy this conversation with your Self. The Law of Attraction can be looked at in a purely physical way as well. In alchemy, we say that water is attracted to the sun because it evaporates and moves upwards. But what is really happening, is that the water has digested the sun and turned into Fire, thus changing its previously fixt state. Now Fire is being attracted to Fire, likeness increasing likeness; the law of attraction! The law of attraction is part of the engine of involution, which is the operation of Life.
  24. The Dead Body

My grandpa died last year from old age, but it came after a long struggle with kidney infections, pnuemonia, painful arthritis and general weakness. My last memories of him alive are ones of him in pain. At his funeral though, you could see the tranquility on his face, even though his body looked like a wax sculpture. So for me it was good to see him no longer in pain. It didn't really have much to do with 'seeing to believe' that his spirit left.
  25. The Polarity of the Heart

Hey HoldorFold The way i understand the hermetic perspective of the heart is that it's electromagnetic, in both man and woman. The yin yang polarity of the heart depends on how the emotions are directed by Spirit, or Consciousness.
