Guru Viking: Daoist Inner Alchemy - Damo Mitchell
Jaguar replied to anshino23's topic in Daoist Discussion
Ok fair enough I understand thanks for the clarifying -
Correct me if I'm wrong but the new courses seem to be split of the original neigong course and charged extra? From the courses outline seems you can learn most of 1-3 from his book or the other WLP books.. And yeah I do understand he has to make a living haha

Guru Viking: Daoist Inner Alchemy - Damo Mitchell

Okay so the movements do involve a state of meditation. That makes more sense.. thanks So obviously your lineage doesn't value full lotus posture or it's significance of the embryo in Daoist alchemic iconography.. -

So according to your lineage, zero meditation is necessary for alchemy? A few standing movements is enough for the refinement process of Yuan Jing into Yuan Qi while I can think about anything going on about life or create fantasies? Interesting.. -
Daoist Internal Mastery - new Wang Liping book
Jaguar replied to Bruce Qi's topic in General Discussion
Beautiful thanks for sharing, I'm interested in attending a 10 day intensive, I've only heard good things. -
Yeah I've been realizing that more and more, although as we seen with John he was also using that energy to heal others. I'm less interested in the martial power of the system more into the no bullshit approach to cultivating the lower dan tien. Ultimately, the goal for me is also developing a long lasting healthy body. Spirit Immortality sounds good also.. Being able to choose the next incarnation etc, outside from average cosmic laws that are from karmic lessons leading to just a cycle of "suffering". Freedom I suppose and operating at higher levels, maybe some of us already doing that just choosing to forget..

Hey Zork, I've heard that 4 years ago from a Qigong teacher I know who is "buddies" with one of John's ex students.. From other sources I also heard he was fine.. I'm not going to believe anything. Of course John isn't a high level Mo Pai comparatively to the levels in the system... For me how he has been progressing in his training or stagnating is up to assumptions as well as rumors of his illness.

Hi, I appreciate the reply, I believe higher levels of Mo Pai s still considered "human immortal", as they don't get sick like normal people but body still gets old and dies.

The scandal of me sitting in full lotus padmasana
Jaguar replied to voidisyinyang's topic in General Discussion
People charge way more for their time claiming to be "Spiritual Life Coaches", And reading many responses on this thread I see why Drew is allocating. -
Interesting, I'd like to know where you got the reference for that statement? Because you'd think attaining such a high level in MoPai would at least surpass "Human Immortal" ..

Daoist Internal Mastery - new Wang Liping book
Jaguar replied to Bruce Qi's topic in General Discussion
I slightly remember reading from a seminar student that one can still practice meditation in upper level apartments and still cultivate results, can anyone confirm this? -
Daoist Internal Mastery - new Wang Liping book
Jaguar replied to Bruce Qi's topic in General Discussion
So does this new book also include Yin Xian Fa, and three immortals? -
Should we really head the Zhongli-Lu text seriously? I haven't studied the validity of this traditional text that is allegedly from a Chinese immortal. For me It's almost like taking the Bible literally, almost.

Declassified CIA papers from The Stargate Project

I'm surprised no one mentions Thomas Campbell, who him in another scientist Dennis, where the original scientist conducting experiments with Robert Monroe in a lab setting which lead to the creation of Hemi-Sync and the Gateway Experience tapes. He has quite a few videos on you tube now, and going around giving lectures to universities or talks around the world. So this document is not so ground breaking. So he's able to parallel process into other reality frames. For instance he can be driving his car and also be in another "reality frame" maybe speaking to other NPM entities. ( term in his book "My Big Toe" meaning Non-physical Matter, or not of this reality frame). His talks are delivered in a very left-brain approach to spiritualism, which he understands is needed to evolve the western form of consciousness, especially to academics who are fueling the "religion of science". When the truth is real spirituality is harmonious with science. I do have a lot of respect for what he's doing. Anyways, In terms of relating this to Daoism, I find it quite interesting, and would like a discussion to whom anyone has anything to chime. So for example why does he have a much easier time reaching altered states of consciousness naturally ( His first meditation class which was attracted by him through natural curiosity, he found to easily access what he calls "point consciousness" in other words, a deep meditation state most likely between theta and delta brainwave states). I'm theorizing, in relation to Daoist terms, his pre heaven Qi is pretty solid. Simply, an old soul with a lot of practice under his reincarnation belt. What I'm curious about and have been thinking about lately in my personally spiritual practice, is that sleeping on my back seems to induce that hypnagoic state or out of body state quite easily. Although I've came across, some Chinese, and Japanese internal alchemy training philosophies that it's not good to sleep on your back since your energies can be easily sucked off by Yin Spirits. So I've been taking advice from yogic and chinese alchemy traditions to sleep on my right side. Thomas Campbell advice is to let whatever attack you in this state kill you. Thus getting over the fear of death into another state of frequency or entering a state being more conductive to "astral travel" (Which is just a shift of consciousness into another "data stream") or "growing" as he says "lowering entropy" for spiritual evolution. This could be mean, accepting ones own death, reduces fear, and that fear which is a state of being and energy cannot be easily manipulated into energy draining by other entities. I experiment with both traditional yogic or daoist practice and Thomas Campbell's advice (which is a lot more simplistic and rational in regards to self discovery and not favoring beliefs but "knowing"). As he says, the proof is in the pudding, conduct your own scientific observations in your practice in order to gather results through experience.
