  2. Blocking a user?

uhm at the moment there are 4 possibilities to ignore posts messages signature mentions. very nice setup btw I would like a fifth possibility so that you could ignore notifications ( the bellthingie right upper corner) from a user of choice
  3. Best wishes from Brazil

don't think that's needed but try to post less, put more text in your posts. the consequence of your posting style is that the "all activity" tab is quickly filled up with your posts thereby drowning the rest.
  4. Best wishes from Brazil

Cobie, could you change your posting style? you could have put all those answers in one message quite easily. the way you post comes over as spamming the forum and I note that the OP has not been back yet. Your way of posting comes over as spamming which is not nice.
  5. Best wishes from Brazil

welcome to the forums Eric, there is a subforum on textual studies somewhere so hopefully you will find something useful there

  10. Tai Chi Maniac

one of the teachers senior students taught such a class and told me it was his favorite class as these elderly people were all happy to be there, did not strive to reach higher levels, did not compete, were happy to be there and were just a joyful bunch. Once a year they invited him to a shared dinner in a good restaurant.

When I started there was soreness in all of the legs, ough. Not now however, no tension in the legs either, apart from the peculiar 'tension' everywhere that comes from stretching the body upwards while releasing muscle tension. not sure whether the standing posture I was taught was called ZZ or Wuji though, we just called it standing.

hmm, when you look at the musculature of the legs you see it's many layers. My teacher said that when you assume the correct posture you will make more use of the inner layers of muscles, thus giving the outer layers a bit of rest. I haven't practiced for years but when I still did there was no tension in the lower legs.

from a perspective from the musculature the ZZ posture activates other muscles then you usually use ( big ough at the start) I concluded that ( apart from a lot of other things) this is a strong aid for bloodflow in all of the body. As for purpose, I will never pass the state of beginner, but seems to me opening the yongquan/bubbling spring is the first result.
  16. Blocking a user?

I wonder whether the ( already wonderfully detailed ) ignore function could be expanded with a button ' notifications' for now I will put someone on 'ignore posts' ping...ping...ping
  17. Museum of Atlantis

This is the stuff of nightmares, beautifully made though.
  18. Nathan Brine Revised Material

surprising how someone who sets himself up as a teacher has so much insecurity he needs to make denigrating remarks about other teachers, about housewifes and the elderly to prop up his self-esteem all categories of people who, in general, earn respect. Housewifes take care of kids, the sick and the elderly. A societal task of utmost importance. It's very probable you're mother was a housewife at least when you were small. I would not make denigrating remarks about housewifes if I were you. Concerning the elderly, they need to be venerated, not denigrated. They're part of our society and our societal karma. I've no idea what Mitchell has done to you but you're far of the mark.

Ah yes, teacher sometimes offered 'tea' to those that wanted it, interesting experiences.
  21. My best friend is a devout Christian, it's interesting that she tells me about the same sort of experiences as a result from her long prayer sessions as I have from mediation.
  22. Chronic Pain

that's an odd choice for pain and indeed gives horrid side-effects.
