Most Powerful Temples or Locations You Have Experienced?
blue eyed snake replied to tantien's topic in General Discussion
well, i'm no treveller at all but some twenty years ago I was in south cornwall men an tol, http://www.intocornwall.com/engine/azabout.asp?guide=Men-an-Tol local story is that going through the hole in the stone is a cure against rachitis. wouldn't know about it, when seeing it my son was through the hole before we even had the chance to think something. But funnily enough my very skeptic, insensitive ex-husband also felt a strong urge to crawl through and did and the fogou in carn euny, https://www.cornwalls.co.uk/history/sites/carn_euny.htm we all three felt a great attraction to this underground chamber, we have been back there several times. as to how it felt, womblike, being part of mother earth, a healing experience I've no tradition what soever, just me trying to be me -
that's what thought too, even though maybe that kingdom is not only within but also without. the dead/ when will the rest for the dead take place, I suppose, in the same vein, when we have shed the identification with thee ego. the dead as the self/ ego , ego laid to rest

sometimes it is not so much what one eats when going on a new diet, but what one does not eat anymore. Like transfats, chemical additions, gluten, dairy and some other stuff that is not that well suited for the digestion of of some people.

that's good for my heart, ill post it again , yours didn't want to be opened -
I've been thinking some more about it, the rest, the quiescence, is needed to come into that state of moving along with that what is. I suppose that is what it means to me.

grin, some thirty years ago I've been digging deep into it, intrigued. Read all i could lay hands on at the time, the Roswell incident, blue book and concluded that there was truth to it. Then i had a baby and i forgot about it, pushed it down in the subconscious apparently -
Origin of species - Interstellar humans

at the moment i have a bad feeling about technological things and humanity in its present state . hands are made to take care of ourselves and of our fellows, to pick food, to hunt when needed, and were using them to destroy... I'm sorta neutral about those extraterrestrial, there was a time I thought it clear that they have been here, much influenced by von Danicken I must admit. But now i just do not know, might be, might be not, might be other explanations. But nice to read about it. but still, when I see this pic, i cannot but see an astronaut -
to me it means something like err.. motion is that everything moves, the whole universe is in constant motion and as a human you should move with it. That you're not calcified in ideas, that you ' go with the flow' something like that. The rest is the stillness within that you can find

if those extraterrestrial people are anything like us... they will have exterminated themselves long before they are able to visit us. but until humanity kicked in, the fourlegged design did pretty well -
Vibrating during meditation

well, i think I told you before that I'm no expert, just an idiot this is the nicest example of un-engineered stretching I can give you. And i do not mean that as a joke. Lay down, try to feel your body and stretch all parts of it. oh, and there is a recent thread on stretching somewhere the rabbits way, I think Spotless means the story of the rabbit and the turtle. The turtle won. In my practice there is almost no engineering, just do your sitting and standing and everything will happen all by itself. Oh, we do have some more specific exercises too, mainly to remove sick chi. But I remember well one guy saying it was boring to do the same small amount of exercise every-time. To which my teacher replied that for him it would be best to go back to only standing exercise and sitting. which I would be my advice to you too, with more time spent on a good grounding standing exercise then on sitting. prostrations could be well too, that combines bodystretching, grounding and humility. But it all up to you of course. oh, and about engineering, i read a post on turtlebreathing today, i think that would be a nice description of engineering. edit: typos -

lgbtq Is there any reason why "know the male, but keep to the female" should not be taken literally?
blue eyed snake replied to Drifting_Through_Infinity's topic in Miscellaneous Daoist Texts & Daoist Biographies
Cultivation for women is indeed a bit different from men. Although the first steps are the same, after that the roads diverge somewhat. There are books about female cultivation. of old, it were those shamans that had found a real balance between the male and the female that were the most powerful.- 22 replies

Having read the whole blog, i find that I understand this guy very well whether awake or not It's a situation many people find themselves in. Hurting so much that life becomes unbearable. Imho it is the fear of dying that let people cling to life in such a situation, plus, indeed, attachments of several sorts. Dying is much harder when you have children who still depend on you for instance. plus the attitude of our peculiar western medicine-men who tend to keep you ' alive' as long as they can. But I grieve for his mum and his loved ones, it's always hard to lose a loved one. And this way tends to be the hardest of them all for those that stay behind.

I do not know the guy, but the original poster asked for respect, and somehow your post does not seem respectful to me. if I was his widow/daughter/son/friend, it would hurt me

I know that you were speaking of energetic dynamic, but the emotional and the energetic are very closely related. just saying, no offence meant
