ah, but the Muslims get all those beautiful Houri's to enjoy themselves... I've always wondered whether there is an equivalent for the ladies to enjoy themselves.

recital of her experience
blue eyed snake replied to CloudHands's topic in Esoteric and Occult Discussion
thank you for sharing this, it's sort of clear to me that people who are on drugs will have a prolonged period of being ' inbetween' or 'yet unaware of the change' and how beautiful to be able to give someone, and not just a someone but your mother, a hand to make that crossing. these kind of experiences can be mindblowing- 4 replies

Seeing, Recognising & Maintaining One's Enlightening Potential
blue eyed snake replied to C T's topic in Buddhist Textual Studies
equanimity sort of describes my teacher, I think I've gotten a hunch what you, or better Traleg Rinpoche, mean by it, thank you for giving the words for the processes going on. for know practicing observing is enough of a task, and it seems there'll always be a next step, that's good, keeps one humble -

Seeing, Recognising & Maintaining One's Enlightening Potential
blue eyed snake replied to C T's topic in Buddhist Textual Studies
thank you CT, these are a lot of words together conveying what my teacher means when he tells me : you just stay in an observing modus. and more and more i begin to see what he means by it, and I think it's not only in interaction with ' others' but also in how one looks at herself, Bes -

God didn't "create" us out of nothing

I'm not raised a christian, in fact I was raised without a religion, and am grateful for it. Many things that I do not have to shed. Now I bow both to the Buddha and the Christ alike, they followed a path that maybe i did put on the first step. but when i remember well, it says somewhere in the bible that " the kingdom of god is to be found within" To find it, maybe you do not have to die physically, but let shrink the ever busy monkey-mind, the endlessly thinking mind, full of its own importance... often called ego. until it has diminished so far that the kingdom of god comes into view, Bes -

Observations on Invisibility for Self Defense
blue eyed snake replied to TheSunTheMoonTheStars's topic in Newcomer Corner
more and more scientific evidence regarding chi is coming up. there is a thread about it, somewhere... I do not need scientific evidence, too much personal experience with the stuff... but you might give it a look, use the search function, he that looks will find love Bes -
I've once seen a toddler telling about a past life, the kid was not yet three years old, was developmental slow regarding talk. he normally used two word sentences like " want bread " but many times he still used sort of random noises and grunts as a way of communicating his wishes. ( he grew up to be pretty smart and verbally very strong though) he was just sitting in his playcorner, singing some nonsense words and then something happened, he walked to me asking: why is it that you're my mom and i a kid, while I used to be an old man and you were a young woman. This in sentences that you can expect of say a 5 or six year-old that's good with language. also, his stance, his way of being, his personality totally changed. he was a shy little boy, and all of a sudden there stood a very selfassured guy, indeed a wise old man, to be honest I felt like prostrating myself before him... it was an amazing experience. at the time I was more like a materialist, there never was talk of past lives or such things in our home and he lived a secluded life, being home with me mostly. For me it has been a changing point in my outlook on ' reality' whether this is about past lives or whether some people just can get a look into the past, I dunno. To me it feels like past lives are sort of reality I'm sure it's more than just picking up things from the direct time and space frame, But needed this experience to arrive at that point, Bes

I like the different ways people get insights from texts like these. different perspectives of it can make my way of reading/understanding it broader. It might serve to take me out of my own fixed mindset

agree totally Orion, i've never had the yen to eat stuff like that. on the other hand, people with too much mercury in their system invariably react badly to chlorella, in that case it is a pointer to toxic stuff in the body that you better get rid of. By removing the black fillings by an able dentist using a slow drill, a cofferdam and eh..suction/ ventilation. To take care that poisonous fumes don't enter the body of both client and dentist. And afterwards a good detox is no luxury either.
