Should one be interested in "his" work ? Apparently there never was a nuclear sub accident that he was involved in but some like to use it for headlines
-
So lets see.. It wasn't a nuclear sub reported royal navy sub accidents 1970s "10 Jan 1970:Undergoing the first reactor refueling at a British yard, the Royal Navy attack submarine HMS Dreadnought encounters problems while docked at Rosyth, Scotland. The serious problems delay the completion of its scheduled refit for at least ten months." nope not under the ice.....mmmm what could it be, where did it happen "Near death on a nuclear sub didn't stop my work on Arctic ice" Late 1950s to late 1980s https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_submarines_of_the_Royal_Navy#Late_1950s_to_late_1980s It ,wasn't a nuclear sub , it didn't happen...did it? I had asked because such accidents after such a time are usually published and well known. Now it turns out it was a ship with a "generator" problem "So that ship was not nuclear but it did go to the arctic." many ships go to and have went to the arctic, why would one say it was a "nuclear sub" when it wasn't?
-
I guess not, but good try. Which Royal Navy submarine had an accident under the ice.
-
Of course what would one expect from those asking others to do that will never affect them. It does allow them to be in control with the usual results of government controled mandated systems.

Not all, considering the percentage of the amount of taxes they pay as a group. The tax cuts will tend to affect those who pay the most over those who don't pay at all or very little. "In 2015, the top 1 percent of taxpayers accounted for more income taxes paid than the bottom 90 percent combined. The top 1 percent of taxpayers paid $568 billion, or 39.04 percent of all income taxes, while the bottom 90 percent paid $428 billion, or 29.41 percent of all income taxes.Jan 17, 2018"

@jonesboy See how it works, the same script over and over again. Once facts are shown contrary to the narrative personal attacks soon follow. The main point that many make presenting a different narrative is that the science that the popular narrative is based on is flawed or disputed by other scientist , something the link you posted demonstrated. My point humans are natural to the planet , any changes that may arise because of our activity is natural. Whether the changes our beneficial or not is part of a natural process reacting to changes that occur and have occurred what ever the causative agents are...

The world is an illusion....wtf does that mean ?

Funny all here talking about nothing, trying to prove what they talk about with something. "η‘" "θΆε·εε°γε ε§εγηειζδ½ζ§δΉη‘γε·δΊγη‘γ" -

dubito, ergo cogito, ergo sum -
This implies that somehow humankind is not part of the nature that supports it. Humankind is part of the change. The natural life cycle of what's going on.

what can "you" do not we....not I. No one has said climate change does not exist. what many talk about is the rate . Climate has changed and will change. The real issue is one of rate allowing for adaptation. The other issue is that those that can not adapte mostly 3rd world countries who tend to be overpopulated also tend to be the most affected by changes. Any Country that manages to affect their whether will have the power to effect others either directly or indirectly.

Always said by those, who've benefited from modern technology, lifestyle. The reason there are too many humans can be directly attributed to Western technologies and science enabling more to live. Which as many seem to want on this site, to do away with and go back to the natural way of living. I should say they want others to go back to the natural way of living, they do like to write about it, some how never get around to doing it. Yep, to many humans. Very true Embrace death as part of life learn how to die well, doing so one will understand how to live well.

You did not, it is not, Is it real -
Might be something called a market driven economy. Think it though, at this point there is no storage system for electricity the power developed is not constant nor is it efficient. If one is connected to the grid and uses less power who pays for the maintenance and other cost associated with maintaining the grid. Look at water, in SF for example when the usage became more efficient and people used less the cost of it in taxes was more then the cost of the water used itself. Energy efficient appliances, they do make em and you do have to pay for all the cost associated for doing so...free markets are really the only way to bring cost down... In the solar industry China made a decision a while back to be the one stop shop for all green energy solar, wind, ect....they did this in a way that only china could and can do... In the process running the market for local producers of such technologies Was in a company making cells that went out of business, it cost more to make the cells then they could be sold for....
-
Nice, takes a lot of work and understanding to do so. what is called clean energy is not so clean when one starts looking into the process used to make them.
-
not true... you and others do not really know what your talking about. used to work in the solar industry for a company that made the tooling "machinery" sets used to "make" solar cells... apparently you don't understand about efficiency rates of cells "they'er not there" , yet the cost associated with making them or the environmental damage that is done mining the materials used to make them. whats called green energy is not so green, there are no free rides, its an illusion. As to nuclear energy, a little reading might allow you to compare it and other energy sources with out the sound bites....the radioactive wastes produced is a matter of technology providing the answer to it....right now its not cost effective or politically viable to do so....at some point this may change.

Is not the one noteing the triviality the one mired in it? To be free from it. It would seem that one would either be an example or present examples of others who are or claim to be . In most practices those having attained an achievement, choose to live among or engage with those who have not, thereby providing an example. One that allows freedom of choice without judgment or condemnation. -
You generate your own electricity using technology you made, you made the PC used to post, you created the internet that allows it to be posted. Ok, if you say so. As to the rest, working on it. Not much of writer, something I work on each day. A bit dyslexic not always able to catch my own errors. Can be very frustrating at times.

Great, now you and others can demonstrate your sincerity by not turning on or useing lights, or "your" commodities...mmm like the pc you typed on to post this, along with all the tech that goes with it to make the network possible... As far as voting,,,its called US citizenship become one and you can vote for or against. The "we" if not a US citizen, take care of your or their counties.....and stay in em....that would be a good start... "Anyone with have a brain " would wonder why most of those living in non western countries are often tying to leave them to get to the west...Why isn't it those from western countries the ones leaving them. Oddly enough they don't but like to bitch about them while living in them.

a little long covers much of what some are trying to sell

I find it very condescending, and naive, with out understanding or deep thought that should come from the practices based on awareness which many on this site say they practice.. Notice how the narrative is never about western cultures defeating and enslaving other western cultures guess it doesn't count.... Which gets back the idea and fact that some cultures were and are superior to others. A fact...often disputed by those living and enjoying the benefits, ya know like freedom, rule of law,,,ect that the superior culture offers for those living with in its confines ie citizens... Those disputing this always seem to do so within the cultures they despise.... very funny

Do ever read history or understand what your posting. "genocidal assaults for western expansion" really" what about their own expansion "Some captives were sacrificed to Tonatiuh in ritual gladiatorial combat (as was the case of the famous warrior Tlahuicole). In this rite the victim was tethered in place to a large carved circular "stone" (temalacatl)[30] and given a mock weapon.[31] The captive was supposed to die fighting against up to four or seven fully armed jaguar and eagle knights, whereupon falling he would be promptly disemboweled by a priest, but if the captive survived he was granted freedom." " he would be promptly disemboweled by a priest, but if the captive survived he was granted freedom." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aztec_warfare yep the bad old western expansion did this..

Why is it that you and some others never attribute agency to those farmers and peoples living in the areas you attempt to make into victim hood. Those living in the areas will do what they need to do to survive its not about persevering things so others may watch it on tv from their comfortable homes. Its easy to romanticize a life style that one has never lived.
