When your learn how to get rid of the "I" you might find there is no one to defend, no one to deal with. -
lived and worked in both places. Regarding whats called Communism. Try this sometimes...list what you think or feel it is, and compare with what is done in the US either publicly or as in the Trump thread behind the scenes. If one is using modern China as a comparison I've found that really there's not that much difference. What some who are called progressives or the left, seem to be trying to do is Communism, not even in the modern sense of it.... Group speak and thought animal farm times,,,oops slipped some find the word animal offensive when used in comparisons with humans.

If you were Chinese or live / lived there you would know. The answer would be obvious. As to the Trump thread. An interesting thread that can be proven or disproven regarding the facts as presented by users with different ideologies, worldview's. One could look at it as a presentation of what is verses what is thought to be or wanted to be.

They already do,. some call them homeless. In some places it's a problem.

War is life. There would be no life with out it. The First Truth is that all life is suffering, pain, and misery. The Second Truth is that this suffering is caused by selfish craving and personal desire. One of the desires is to keep on living.....need to fix it....

You might try by understanding what the self is that you're trying to de Westernise. It would seem that you've created an illusion that you've come to understand and are now trying to come to grips with. Good luck in the process. It's called the gateless gate there are many paths to it

Interesting, the symbols reflections, reflecting inner relevance. The Cup to me, allows me to make it known I totally agree with the point of somebody's post. Kind of like a nodd in agreement or a raised eyebrow at something someone said. Really don't see it as an indicator of winning anything. The like a general agreement , not quite reaching the heart of the matter. -
brings to light a couple of points. Ones inner perception interacts and determines how outer perceptions are perceived. When these inner perceptions are to far out of sync or do not allow for normal functioning in a society people are said to have a psychosis. What happens when a society is shaped by those with what was once noted as a psychosis for example those with gender dysphoria. "Gender dysphoria (GD), or gender identity disorder (GID), is the distress a person experiences as a result of the sex and gender they were assigned at birth. In this case, the assigned sex and gender do not match the person's gender identity, and the person is transgender." "assigned at birth" if true is being born human also an assignment. What if a person felt they were really an animal. Is he still human?

"whats in the box"
-
"the cat is simultaneously alive and dead. Yet, when one looks in the box, one sees the cat either alive or dead not both alive and dead. This poses the question of when exactly quantum superposition ends and reality collapses into one possibility or the other." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schrödinger's_cat Interesting isn't it, until one opens the box its either or. Why is the sky blue? "The answer is this: The sky isn’t actually colored at all (not blue or yellow or red or green). Rather, it’s your mind that’s colored. Read the full essay » https://blog.ted.com/ted-weekends-explores-how-our-minds-shape-reality/ and for the zen among us "Two men were arguing about a flag flapping in the wind. "It's the wind that is really moving," stated the first one. "No, it is the flag that is moving," contended the second. A Zen master, who happened to be walking by, overheard the debate and interrupted them. "Neither the flag nor the wind is moving," he said, "It is MIND that moves." http://users.rider.edu/~suler/zenstory/movingmind.html

Is this not a binary choice. How can thoughts be detached from the reality they create.

And you do. Why is that those who talk of "we" never seem to mention " I " as in themselves. Its always about what others can or should do.. Taxes, everyone pays taxes. As far as who pays the most and should benefit the most from any changes made to the system...lets see how it really works out. "Suppose there were a banquet for 100 people and at the end of the night it was time to split the bill of $50 per person. If that bill were paid for the way we pay our income taxes, here is how it would work. Those in the top half of income would pay roughly $97 each and those in the bottom half of the income would pay an average of $3 each. Almost 40 people would pay nothing. And the single richest person in the room would cough up $1,750." https://www.heritage.org/budget-and-spending/commentary/do-the-rich-pay-their-fair-share Your starting to sound like someone who likes free stuff, thinks others should get it also but doesn't seem to understand who really pays for the free stuff, nor that the free stuff is limited. "What about the super duper rich? The multimillionaires and billionaires. Warren Buffett famously says he pays a smaller share of his income in tax than his secretary. But when properly accounting for the taxes paid and income earned, the top 0.1 percent paid 16 percent of the income tax. So the top 0.1 percent paid an aggregate amount more than five times that of half the population. That isn’t enough?" kinda amazing isn't it, the amount of misinformation.

And you invited how many homeless to live with you. You gave others what they don't have because you have to much. you work to give what you worked for away to those who do not work right? I hope you've done these things, it would really suck to find out your a racists.

It's not the amount of time one lives. But the amount of life that one puts in time

Supreme good is like water. Water greatly benefits all things, without conflict. It flows through places that people loathe. Thereby it is close to the Way. A good dwelling is on the ground. A good mind is deep. A good gift is kind. A good word is sincere. A good ruler is just. A good worker is able. A good deed is timely. Where there is no conflict, there is no fault.
