  9. Gun Control and Shootings

"A woman who was jumped by masked armed men in her own driveway Tuesday morning was able to break away, retrieve a gun from inside her home, and open fire. The suspects immediately fled the scene. KHOU reports that the woman was jumped around 2:30 a.m. in her southwest Houston driveway. She managed to escape, running inside her house. She opened fire when the attackers allegedly “tried to break into the home.” http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/03/27/woman-opens-fire-masked-armed-men-jump-her/ not into guns, having served in the military for a while, understand their uses and short comings

"Former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens says the right to bear arms has run its course, and now’s the time to “repeal the Second Amendment.” It never fails those that benefit, benefited, from any law enacted for the rights of the people are very free about asking that those rights be curtailed. The media not free press supports this because it supports a certain narrative and ignores reality on the ground Dangerous times we live in. On a side note, in Taiwan its almost impossible to own a gun by law,,,guess who has guns my bother in law had his partner shot and killed at a bank they work at recently.... Small baseball bats are legal and used by many for ....not for baseball . defense and offense http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/03/27/former-supreme-court-justice-john-paul-stevens-repeal-second-amendment/

"Rapper Vic Mensa performed for Saturday’s student march for gun control, coined the March for Our Lives, although he was arrested last year on a concealed handgun charge." http://www.breitbart.com/2nd-amendment/2018/03/26/rapper-performed-gun-control-march-arrested-last-year-concealed-handgun-charge/ Poster boy for what those that want to take away others rights always seem to feel they can keep the same rights as they would deny others. All the politicians want armed guards and walls around their houses.... Wailua River in Kauai, Hawaii, August 23, 2007. Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has built a six-foot wall around his 700-acre estate on the island. http://www.newsweek.com/facebook-mark-zuckerberg-wall-hawaii-protest-549068 700-acres guess he needs his space....700-acres boggles the mind. In almost all cases of those that rule, who say they don't they do ...

Its not about anything you noted, you talk of democracy and yet don't seem to understand that the "The Supremacy Clause is a clause within Article VI of the U.S. Constitution which dictates that federal law is the "supreme law of the land." If you or others want to change it, understand the what, how to change the law. Its not a matter of liking or not, it is a matter of rule of law. "All perfectly legal and yet smoke a joint and go to jail." It called rule of law,,,I'm sure if you google it you'll understand the basic premise of it.

The problem is that it won't. No accountability, a populace to numb, or really uneducated to understand their rights, expectations and whats really going on....But somehow according to the narrative it's team Trumps fault. When Trump mentioned that he was being spied on, it was literally the truth people laughed not understanding one of those who knew what was going on alerted him to it. He and his team promptly vacated trump tower. A little long but lays out the time line and cast of actors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zOvDoxMNns
  16. Gun Control and Shootings

can you define an assault weapon. " isn't getting something like a person getting a gun and like using it for a bad thing" funny post on another site "No driving until you attain the age of 21 (No Assault Cars) No texting until you attain the age of 21... (No assault texting) No cell phones until you attain the age of 21 (No assault Phones) No voting until you attain the age of 21 No joining the military until you attain the age of 21"

  18. Gun Control and Shootings

Unfortunately the education system is educating people on how to depend on others to fix them instead of teaching them to fix themselves
  19. Gun Control and Shootings

They don't seem to have much understanding of the constitution, federal and state law, who makes them and how they'er enforced. And yet seem very willing to cede their rights. Why should states or people support new federal gun laws, and not laws like mmmm immigration laws. Why are sanctuary cites / states which are illegal under the law not enforced. In florida "police seize first firearms under Florida's new gun-control laws" http://www.sun-sentinel.com/local/broward/parkland/florida-school-shooting/fl-florida-school-shooting-guns-seized-lighthouse-point-20180316-story.html what happens to those who follow the law. "The Twenty-Sixth Amendment provides, “The right of citizens of the United States, who are 18 years of age or older, to vote, shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or any state on account of age.” It prohibits states from discriminating among voters based on age, for people who are at least 18 years old, and grants Congress power to “enforce” that prohibition through “appropriate legislation.” The Twenty-Sixth Amendment is the last in a series of amendments enacted over more than a century expanding constitutional protection for voting rights. Like many other amendments, it was enacted as a direct repudiation of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling. " Interesting isn't it. Able to vote be drafted or join the military, and yet some want to raise the age to buy a gun to 21 and have some kind of federal registry. The Florida state registry shows what can happen for those who follow the law, for those who don't it won't matter never did... Those wanting to restrict guns protected by those with guns, notice who has the guns.. why was the voting age changed? "Traditionally, Americans had to be at least 21 years old to vote. Section 2 of the Fourteenth Amendment, enacted after the Civil War, protects the right to vote for the “male inhabitants of [each] state, being twenty-one years of age, and citizens of the United States.” States were permitted to lower the voting age, but not required to do so. By the time of the Vietnam Conflict, most states still limited the franchise to people 21 and older. Because so many men between 18 and 20 were being drafted to fight in Vietnam, Congress came under substantial pressure to expand the franchise to them. Congress consequently enacted the Voting Rights Act of 1970, which lowered the voting age to 18 for all federal, state, and local elections."

  22. Questionable Journalism and Fake News

"The night before, two unnamed officials told the Washington Post that former FBI Director James Comey had requested more resources from the Justice Department for the investigation days before he was fired. Justice Department spokeswoman Sarah Isgur Flores called reports of such a request “totally false,” and that the request “did not happen.” http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/05/11/fake-news-russia-investigation-is-adequately-resourced-deputy-fbi-director-says/ Really, considering whats going on, does anyone need examples. The problem is that what serves as a counter balance is labeled by the mainstream news as "xxxx" insert what ever, "In testimony last Tuesday, Brennan affirmed that after viewing all of the evidence that was available to him on the Russia probe he is not aware of any collusion between Russia and members of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign." http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2017/05/30/exclusive-carter-page-investigate-collusion-hillary-obama-admin-russia-fake-news/ and yet there is an investigation, which unfortunately is turning up facts which continue to be ignored until they cant be....The power of the press....not to be underestimated for those that are sheeple.

"they're just kids" A reply I was given when I mentioned to one of the teachers aides while practicing out and Golden Gate Park that one of their kids was wearing the American flag and dragging it around on the ground. I asked him if they taught about those who sacrificed and what was done in order for the freedoms the kids have to be able to do that. The reply "they're just kids" They look to be in junior high school. At some point those kids will be running parts of the government they may even become president. When and where do they learn to respect themselves, honor the traditions of the country that they live in, and understand the sacrifices made for them to do so. Of course maybe I overreacted after all "they're just kids"
