Why, does some one owe you a break? You can't or won't address any of it, because it would tend to challenge your own world view. "You also miss the larger picture which I've already framed before - where wildlife, and then aboriginal "whole brain/heart" peoples SUSTAINABLY living in harmony with Nature (DAOISM)" Unless you lived it, or are living it in which case you probably would not be posting here if you were, what you just wrote makes no sense,,, Care to share what makes you a "daoist " or feel that you know and understand it enough to compare it with what you wrote. Not all cultures are equal start with that, some never developed past a certain point.

Not looking for anything only pointing out whats happening as the ship is sinking. The press we are told is supposed to function as a the foil of the people helping the people to see what their gov was doing in their name. Unfortunately the not free press has become part of what its supposed to watch. Fortunately, the media has matured to a point where different sources can be accessed for those seeking to understand whats going on, and why. Team Trump, the unofficial 3rd party is helping to cast a light on this...its been going on for to long,,,,
  3. This land is your land; This land is my land

Do we really need to go through this. Shouldn't the aboriginals give the land back to those they took it from. or the Mexicans. Let history be your friend

"To our great 'shock', in court arguments Fusion did not deny making payments to journalists but simply cited First Amendment protection and confidentiality. “It is contrived to substitute for the ridiculous notion that Intervenor [the House committee] can demand documents in an overbroad subpoena from a third party and not explain what it is looking for or why,” said a memorandum filed by Fusion’s law firm, Zuckerman Spaeder LLP, for U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan. “And they are not pertinent, as they are not related to Russia or Donald Trump,” Fusion argues. “In attempting to justify the overbroad subpoena earlier, Intervenor could have, but of course did not, argue the relevance to its inquiry of any such payments.” In the court battle with Mr. Nunes, Fusion has likened itself to a group of journalists with all associated rights. Its founders include former Wall Street Journal reporters Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch. All of which again raises the very obvious question of why a Special Prosecutor was required to investigate the Trump campaign on nothing more than a series of rumors while no such Special Prosecutor seems to be necessary to investigate the Hillary campaign even after her own general counsel admitted to the same "crimes" of which Trump was accused?" http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-11-06/intel-committee-demands-fusion-gps-bank-records-suspects-journalists-paid-spread-rus This could be in the Trump thread or here. Just looking at this one has to shake their head. " they are not pertinent, as they are not related to Russia or Donald Trump,” Fusion argues" Funny how it changes depending on who is being investigated, where is the main stream press, the "free" press that the US always talks about.
  5. Nope. lets try again. can you provide any examples of it...where one is a machine as you've stated. this is my teacher it does not address the OP question but does show certain skill sets in use. How there'er used is another question... https://journeytoemptiness.com/2016/07/02/a-day-in-the-park/

The US holds its vaunted "free" press as an example to the world. The rest of the world looks and understands whats going on and just watches in amusement. People in the US are starting to wake up seeking other media in which to find out whats going on whats called the main stream news is fighting back,,,,like it always has... This time its different...Media itself has come of age.... Countries like China, do understand this and seek to control it for what they call social stability.
  7. Main Stream Media

Dispute the facts as they portray them, show where they are wrong. They are putting out a view point based on factual events and do not claim to be news ie with out a bias that the news agencies have but claim not to. I use and view a number of sites to understand different points of view. In this day and age, there is no one site IMO that can give a complete picture of whats going on.
  8. Main Stream Media

The narrative is that white supremacist groups are spreading, put out by the main steam media. The real question of why is never asked or addressed.
  9. Main Stream Media

When they cant factually dispute the argument attack the person who's presented it. Its a time worn tactic gets old but expected.
  10. Main Stream Media

got it, thought I it posted in the Trump thread.
  11. Can you point to where this has been demonstrated and shown to be true.
  12. Main Stream Media

And of course the illusion is that their views are not correct the ones presented to them are. Do not people select all things that validate their views. Some here as I can no longer watch CNN. Why is this, is it an optimal illusion that it is no longer news.
  13. Main Stream Media

People talk about it getting worse but is it not just the result of having free selection. And allowing people to find things that best fits their experience in the world. The mainstream media is not free never has been. The main difference is now there is choice. Of course there are extreme views on either side, that can be openly viewed and debated. To me the main danger is the mainstream media which claims to be unbiased when it has been shown over and over that it is biased. BTW I had thought I posted this under the Trump, thread was it moved?
  14. This land is your land; This land is my land

Trump, is the 3rd party that everyone wants until they got it..... Lots of push back...People talk of banana republics, watching whats happening now is not fun....Hopefully it works out... Not very optimistic on this.

try again they did destroy their cultures, and it was not peacefully.. let history be your friend. "When Mexico became independent in 1821 the long-standing peace with the Apache began to fall apart. The number of soldiers at the frontier presidios was reduced, as was the budget for supporting the soldiers and the Apache. The key element leading to war was that, in 1831, the Mexican government cut off food rations to Apaches settled near presidios. The 2,000 Apache at the presidios quickly departed, it being necessary for them to resume their hunting-gathering lifestyle if they were to survive. The military commander of Chihuahua declared war on the Apache on October 16, 1831 and initiated military action against them.[9] Mexico, however, was ill-prepared for a war against the Apache. The two states most affected, Chihuahua and Sonora, operated almost independently of each other and the federal government. Sonora (which included Arizona at this time) had a thinly-scattered population of perhaps 50,000 people; Chihuahua had a more concentrated population of 134,000 and a better organized government.[10][11]" wow it just gets better "In 1835, the government of Sonora put a bounty on the Apache which, over time, evolved into a payment by the government of 100 pesos for each scalp of a male 14 or more years old. Later, Chihuahua offered the same bounty for males plus a bounty of 50 pesos for the capture of an adult female and 25 pesos for a child under 14. Bounty hunters were also allowed to keep any Apache property they captured. The bounty for one Apache male was more than many Mexicans and American workers earned in a full year.[16] It is unclear, however, whether the scalp bounty was actually paid during the first few years" I guess this is what you mean by "somewhat peacefully" if true I'd hate to be around when you say it wasn't peacefully. I have relatives from mexico, on the aboriginal side. Some have even thought of going back to mexico...Do you know how hard it is to become a citizen of mexico? Do you know what happens when they catch you with out a visa ? My grandmother was hit while crossing the street and died a yr later of her injuries. The illegal who did it was caught, jumped bail presumably went back to Mexico. The US needs the wall, and to enforce its immigration polices. Maybe if some here lived over seas like I have and do they would know how other countries protect their borders and cultures. That would be non European countries. For some reason Europe has decided to commit cultural suicide.
  16. This land is your land; This land is my land

nope you missed it, they didn't....and they did destroy the culture The fact that they still feel the land they live on is "theirs" while still receiving the benefits that the US culture provides for them them is troubling. Maybe, just maybe, they might be happier in Mexico.
  17. This land is your land; This land is my land

I don't quite get your point. What are called Mexican s took the land from aboriginals, who also took it from other aboriginals. If you can't blame them you could always offer your house, car ECT as a way to make you and them feel better.
  18. This land is your land; This land is my land

You do know that Mexican is not a race, but a group of people that live in the area that is called in Mexico. As such you can have many people looking more Spanish then Indian and all the mixtures in between. The border patrol can operate 100 miles Inland away from the border for those interested
  19. What is Immortality?

rather then focus on the interaction. It would be better just to ignore it . My question was asked in earnest maybe taking the wrong way. Probably so, at any rate I'm out,,,sorry for the interruption.
  20. What is Immortality?

dude, you need to start taking your meds.. Would you call me stupid if I was standing before you, I don't think so, but ya never know.
  21. What is Immortality?

all of which does not address my question, its ok thanks...
  22. What is Immortality?

This is something that you can do or do? how do you validate your experience out side or your self?
  23. Talk HRC

Lets see what happens if anything..
  24. What is Immortality?

Maybe understanding of that which you think of as "you" is an illusion as such was never mortal to begin with. An example we often use in Buddhism is that of the wave and the water. The wave springs from the ocean and when you observe the phenomenon of the wave, … Before arising it seems that the wave did not exist, and after going down, we don’t see it existing either. … But at the same time we know the wave is also water.
