  1. Tai Chi ball - Mark Rasmus

A physical ball as used by some stylist tends to lock the intention at the point of contact with an inanimate object. To be able to interact with the qi chong, field of qi. One must be able to first feel it. This is what gets moved. Fore most it's very hard to understand how to move something that they are not physically pressing or touching. One of the hallmarks of internal work is the lack of sensation of physically being moved and yet being moved. when people start to be able to do this themselves they often don't believe it even though they feel their own reactions of what others are doing to them using the same methods. The feedback systems of the body are tuned to a physical reality. Lots of work needed to get past this. Henry Wang, mentioned here, among the other teachers has very good insight to the processes and development for doing this.
  2. Tai Chi ball - Mark Rasmus

In China, we called this field "qi chong" a " qi field" or " qi ball" field seems more apt to describe it. The clip an everyday training session with my teacher in his 90s at the time of the clip now 99 this yr. What is shown is how Zhang Shifu, interacts with and can manipulate the field. https://journeytoemptiness.com/2016/07/02/a-day-in-the-park/
  3. A tornado hit my neighborhood

Good to hear that you're okay. Yep wind, can be very strong at times. While in the military was stationed in Oklahoma and Alabama. They have a region that's called tornado Alley. Interesting watching the storms develop.
  4. Do rights exist?

didnt answer the question, thats ok we have different views. nature in my view point follows no law unto itself... evidence means effect, in olden days faith was used as the explanation for things that were not explainable back to the topic at hand, my own view, what are called human rights do not exist outside of the societies that can protect, enact, and enforce them. rule of law: the restriction of the arbitrary exercise of power by subordinating it to well-defined and established laws. law of the jungle: the principle that those who are strong and apply ruthless self-interest will be most successful . notice the characterization about law of the jungle are based on emotion, and motive does what is called nature or natural function based on emotion, and motive
  5. Do rights exist?

can you prove this,,,,how would one know what is there with out knowing its there or by seeing effects that are not presently understandable using the knowledge of the day.
  6. Do rights exist?

Am I missing something, are not humans part of nature. Thus subjected to what is observed. Is not this observation uniquely expressed through humans. "What goes up must come down" No longer true. Can something exist outside of the observer, or does it exist because it is observed.
  7. Do rights exist?

I tend to agree with the clip posted. I would also say that nature has no laws.... There are observations that some may feel are laws but do not necessarily follow that what is observed is unchanging or based on some type of rule.... On can not break a natural law that are none, one can go against or use what is observed and be subject to the consequences of doing so. Whether its beneficial or not what is called "nature" has no stake in it....
  8. Whose thoughts do I think? Whose food do I eat?

Some thoughts from a different perspective
  9. Climate Change

Its been a little quite for awhile....good debate between opposing view points. Its a little dated they talk about C02 ppm at 350,,,its now at 410 or 411 ppm
  10. Do you or others ever consider the time in which those statements were made?
  11. thanks an honest answer. on the net, I've found those asking such questions do so to clarify a position that they in turn use against those providing answers which they never seem to do as you have done. think "ralis" not saying this applies to you, just saying IME this is usually what happens.
  12. It would be good to list what you ask of others..no?
  13. touches on some of the points here.
  14. Yes at this time I am. https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/37747-do-you-have-a-blog-or-a-website/?page=2&tab=comments#comment-873923 Having lived overseas a large part of my life I would say to anyone thinking of doing so it's not as easy as some may lead one to believe. Possible, but not easy. The first part paradoxically enough is that most other countries do protect their borders, and do have very severe penalties for those who enter illegally or overstay illegally. the second part among others is being culturally attuned to the place one intends to go to. For me living in China and Asia it felt like going home. Another very important consideration is to know the laws, and always be aware as that as an american you are a Target of opportunity for those wanting or seeking to make a statement concerning the US. Even if one is ethnically from the country they decide to stay in. In some cases it's even worse as some countries for example China consider all ethnic Chinese to be citizens of China. In the US always felt like a stranger in a strange Land, even from very early in life. Growing up in SF allowed me to become part of the culture I felt attuned to. For those considering living overseas, teaching English has always been a good avenue for doing so. The requirements by the host countries are becoming stricter. My hometown is SF, born and raised there. The only nuggets one may find are in the feces covering many of the sidewalks be careful where one steps.
  15. Leave, don't talk about it do it. "TERRORIST KILLED INNOCENT PPL. IM SICK OF BEING NAILED 2 CROSS BECAUSE U PPL THINK IM A RACIST‼️IM NOT GOING TO DEFEND MYSELF‼️I CARE 4 ALL PPL,TRY TO HELP ALL PPL,” Cher said. “Excuse The Fk Out Of Me If I don’t want ,Murders, Rapists, &; CHILD MOLESTERS of every color to vote.”https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2019/04/24/cher-doubles-down-excuse-the-fk-out-of-me-if-i-dont-want-murders-rapists-child-molesters-to-vote/ cher, seems to be waking up.
  16. And what of those who might say the same things of those who've committed felonies. Is there a difference?
  17. Climate Change

I know, most of the movies like this are...thought some might find it amusing. What you've mentioned about carbon credits is really spot on and the root of whats going on now. The science is very suspect in this aspect...
  18. " Sweden has one of Europe’s highest rates of sexual assaults. At 120.79 violent sexual assaults per 100,000 people, and 56 rapes per 100,000, the otherwise bleak socialist country ranks as having the second highest rate of sexual violence in Europe." maybe not...I wonder why
  19. ask a victim.... "The purpose of the Criminal Justice System... is to deliver justice for all, by convicting and punishing the guilty and helping them to stop offending, while protecting the innocent.'" I would say the purpose of the Criminal Justice System is deterrence, failing that its protecting the innocent. Death is a finality that serves the purpose of providing a deterrent and also insuring that what ever happened will not, can not happen again by the same person.
  20. Can you show societies that don't have this stigma..... Would you agree to have a pedofile living next door to a school yard, as you've said they did their time and now should be "normalized"
  21. Its called closure , people can adapt to all kinds of life it becomes normal. On the other hand death is also normal but an end point. For those who killed my relative, death is good and allows a finality to it. closure. If the end point is death, why not help those who've caused others to reach this point reach it.
