Hey, so somebody I know purchased the statue in the photo and it has somehow made its way to me. I'm curious to know if anybody has any idea which deity or sage the statue is of. I was thinking Fukurokuju, one the seven lucky gods but the figure seems too tall and slender... Anyway if anybody has any idea help would be appreciated.

Hey I've been interested in Daoism, Buddhism and eastern religion for some time and have been reading into these areas for some time. I actually found this website while trying to identify a Daoist statue (Which is still unidentified), maybe somebody will be able to help me on here? Either way I would love to be a part of this online community and hopefully can contribute in some way while learning something new. Thanks .
