I think you are confusing things. The void is motionless, like a dead sea. But then maybe we need to define void. Overflowing with potentiality sounds more like emptiness to me. So maybe we are talking about different things. You quote of Siva Sutra 1.2 "Knowing differentiatedly is bondage and not knowing undifferentiatedly is bondage." Is not about the void. No matter our usage of the word void, in KS Siva is much more than void alone.

What differentiation is there in silence, in the void? Are you also also suggesting that through the void/silence one can also realize Shakti?

Put simply, silence isn’t the goal and an excellent example of how endpoints differ.

I think the point is that they don’t point to the same thing and as a result the realizations are different as well.

I have directly experienced what has been suggested and consider it excellent advice. It is obvious you disagree but putting down others with snide comments really doesn't add value to the OP's request for assistance. Thank you but that wasn't the point that was raised. Maybe I am wrong but working with Tara is taught at all levels in Buddhism is it not? Directing ones issues and fears towards a Divine beings isn't really a completion stage practice. While the topic is on sexual desire, the same type of thing could be used for addiction to smoking, drugs etc. Basically the suggestion is if one is open, one can be helped with ones issues. Nothing wrong or super advanced about being open to it.

So asking for Divine help is BS advice? Seems the OP is having trouble abstaining and is looking for guidance beyond just abstain.

The Dao, Yin and Yang as nouns, in this manner or that manner as mental aspects. The Tao begot one. One begot two. Two begot three. And three begot the ten thousand things. Going from bottom to top they are layers of realization of being. Not emotions or cycles of things or truly nouns. I can see how it can seem that way.

The Tao isn't a thing, also lot's of duality with regard to yin and yang.

The heart is about love and compassion. It is the centerpiece of the family. A truly open heart would change everything. So yes it would matter. Unless you think people can’t change. Using your example of someone who only cares about himself and isn’t working hard to provide for his family because it is the only way he knows how to show love is by providing. I have great faith in the power of change spiritual practices can have on people.

Such neglect is an indication of a closed heart as you are describing it. That is where the dharma is most needed is it not? A great example of why householders should be encouraged.

Isn't part of the problem in realizing what Brahman is? With your original question most will experience a moment of silence. Is that Brahman? Does not the "abiding in" indicate ever changing states of being more so than a true change in ones being so that the definition of Brahman therefore would change as ones clarity changes?

Care to share any similarities and differences on the realizations?

C) Building a more robust energy body is the way to go since it C1) Raises your overall energetic strength, making it harder to attack you and C2) Increases your ability to perceive, recognize and address attacks head on and C3) Reflects the attackers efforts back on to them if they don't cease and desist In my experience one doesn't build a robust energy body. That is more dualistic, think of it more as the more you clear away the more light that shines through. The only way to perceive, recognize such connections is again by clearing away your obstructions. As you do so one is also able to notice more. Reflecting attacks is more like fighting them and getting caught up in the issue. Fighting is never the way. More it is about being and letting it flow through. The more you are able to the less any such attack can or will bother you. On a side note I do a lot of work with what you would call higher spiritual powers and have never run into some other being pretending or anything related to spiritual identity theft. I guess it depends on how and what you are doing.

Yes it is possible to feel energy through a video, a book, a forum post or an object. It is possible to feel energy in countless ways. All the best to you.
