  1. Hillary and Trump

Its not really hatred DB, it's more caution about a maniac that seems impervious to prosecution and can lie better than any actor on Broadway. This is a woman who condones the violence of her husband and uses threats, intimidation and who knows what else to get her hands on money. The warning signs are all there. If she did these things as Secretary of State, imagine what she will do when she gets the top job. I don't like Trump, but he isn't carrying that kind of baggage, he has a few blemishes, but, watch how he had the Trump foundation shut down by a judge - a dimes and cents operation compared with the Clinton Foundation which is allowed to continue unabated. Even HRC has admitted that 'there's an awful lot of smoke, but no fire'. We know there is no smoke without fire. Look at her arrogant quip about cleaning her private server 'with a cloth or something' ? These are the words of a paid up member of a new aristocracy which will do anything to keep this woman in the Whitehouse. What will Trump do if he wins ? He wouldn't have any power. The republicans are as bent as the democrats, it's all part of the same system. If he isn't a player, can you imagine ? If he isn't a player and tries to change things as the top honcho of a massive powerful criminal gang who utilise the CIA, military and black ops contractors to destabilise entire countries ?
  2. Because you are sexist. You are saying exactly the same things which you accuse others. You seem to be an agitator for some agenda narrow, or broad. Are you married ? It just doesn't seem to me that you know much about woman and there are two particularly feisty, bright woman here who are not the shy retiring wallflower stereotypes you seem to believe exist, they are telling you how it is. I understand if you don't listen to another guy, but at least listen to them. Joe did not call for a member of the forum to be put into an electric chair. He opined that a criminal should go to the electric chair if found guilty of the kind of crimes HRC has been accused of, I think that's wrong -a public hanging might be more in order. Don't forget that one of the emails talked of hanging, drawing an quartering the person who allowed HRC to have a private server-it has to said, if it's suggested for her supplier, it must certainly apply to she who pulled the trigger.

Less dangerous ? Hillary is a confirmed hawk, a warmonger that boasts about the horrific death of Gaddafi. Then she is threatening Russia in Syria calling on her generals to set up a no fly zone, she is rattling the nuclear sabre, she has been receiving pay for play cash for the most viscious dictators on the planet, she threatened a drone strike on Assange. Where have you been living ? Have you not been taking notice ? She even threatened the women that her husband raped. No one knows much about Trump, but he certainly hasn't got a record like the megalomaniac Al Capone, Bonny HRC. Apparently Trump may not have paid one of his contractors, 11 years ago he talked of grabbing women by the crotch who let him do it. He kissed a porn star on the lips and has been accused of raping a child of which there is no evidence, but for certain, if it's true, then expect every stone to be overturned to find some. Meanwhile HRC does whatever she likes and the prosecuter merely asks her 'did you do it ? ' she says no and that's the end of the investigation. She 'bleach bit' her computer for Gods sake-who does that ? It's the equivalent of going to a murderers house to discover the carpets and all the furniture have been disappeared. Less dangerous ? Really ? Really ? I don't get it at all.

Policy and not law. Big difference. It's not illegal, it's just not the norm. That suggests something big.
  5. Where is the real middle way?

What makes you think you aren't present ?
  6. Hillary and Trump

The fact that the FBI have opened another investigation into Hillary is reason enough. It is of course not simply about Hillary, but about the entire corrupt mess that she has been an integral part and presided over for many years. Hillary typified K street, revolving door corporatism, cronyism and immunity from the laws that everyone else has to live under.
  7. Hillary and Trump

It's nothing to do with her being a woman, it's because she is crooked as hell and everybody knows it. You can be equally accused of being sexist just because Trump is a male presidential nominee.
  8. Hillary and Trump

It's government emails sent by government employees, I doubt he needs a warrant.
  9. Britain and the European Union

You would think that he would have decided to keep his head down having ended his career as the equivalent of the walking dead endlessly circling the globe giving after dinner speeches to half drunken audiences looking for a pat on the back. Anthony Blair please fuck off.

We don't know what deal was done with Nissan. It was a guarantee, of when and if, so to date there is no actual deal. It's the same line taken by May in respect of Brexit-that there won't be any running commentary on negotiations until the deal is done. She has confirmed that we will not be in the single market, the Euro Justice system, or the free movement of people and that there is no soft /hard Brexit, only that we will be leaving the EU political union and all that implies. It was clear from the very brief speech she was allowed to make (5 minutes) and that she was refused entry to the chamber until required to give her speech, that we are leaving and that the EU will attempt to make things as difficult as possible for us in the short term. They still believe that we will return to the fold and our elite are doing all they can to make life as uncomfortable for us-Carneys QE that killed the pound-that the people will be screaming to be let back in.

I am definitely entertained. Is this one big show ? Well perhaps, but blimey heck it's a bloody good one. This is like EK actually did jump the Gran Canyon on his rocket bike, he just landed and the bike has gone out of control throwing its hapless rider into the air. Will he live, will he die ? It rivals the first moon landing, the breaking of the sound barrier and 9/11. It would be hard to come up with a novel the rivals the sheer sexual deviancy, corruption, denial, subterfuge and possibly murder that is now connected to this broadening circle of putrefaction. I wouldn't be surprised if it landed on Obama next, he clearly was involved. We have an FBI agent who investigated Hillary who's wife ran as a senator for the democrats that looks like the funding came directly from Hillary Clinton herself. Even Clintons campaign manager is shocked at the depth of it. Fantastic stuff. Another 11 days and I'm on the edge to watch each episode. Who will cave in, who's going to prison ?
  13. As we are now finding out, it is about enormous corruption predicated on a hubristic belief in the policies of the Western states led by the 'indispensable' US empire that they have a God given duty to rule the world. As they spun up their ever greater self belief in their crusades for the common good, at the same time they were becoming equally corrupt. The West is now politically, financially and corporately dominated by crooks of every kind who will do or say anything to keep their giant Mafia going. They own the press, the justice system and the police and are now feeding themselves their own lies via their TV screens and creating their own alternate reality. This is Kantian pragmatism stretched to its inevitable destructive, immoral and murderous end game. This is the result of all who have uttered the words 'there is no good and evil, no wrong and right, it's all just shades of grey, it is all about pragmatic compromise under which we can do whatever we like, no matter what the cost, as long as the ends justify the means" If there were such a thing as God, right now he would be rolling up his sleeves and preparing the flood water. He would be amazed that, after two world wars and the disasterous state of financial, domestic and foreign policy, we still hadn't learned that reality and morals cannot be compromised.

This was also the case during Brexit. Generally those in public service jobs, or related to public service activity were staunchly anti-Brexit. When we broke it down, those who were doing well, had good public service pensions, nice houses and, what they believed was a cosmopolitan outlook-voted to remain. All the wealthy areas of the London bubble, those who considered themselves kind of bourgeoise, academic socialists (a sort of classism) thought Brexiteers were stupid, xenophobic, uneducated morons that shaved their heads, had dogs they named Killer and slept under the flag of St. George. When I went out leafleting around the wealthy neighbourhoods of our own town-usually the self made company owners-I discovered they were very cagey about revealing that they were Brexiteers, often because it was seen as a shameful thing. They even lied to their children who had reached the age to vote- the young were very vocal about remaining as the Government had convinced them the old people were stealing their lives. I have a couple of friends who are university and school heads. They were appalled to discover both myself and my wife were voting to leave. I was the only one in the street to display a leave poster and got no end of grief from the other residents-although one finally admitted, rather conspiratorially, that he was voting to leave. I suggest that DT supporters will vote be in far greater numbers in the traditional democratic areas than appearances would suggest. Like remainers, generally I would expect Clinton supporters in those areas to be more vocal.
  15. a thought about spiritual growth

Courage is necessary to being true to truth, to existence and confidence is necessary in order to be true to one’s own consciousness. Effort is necessary to engage in rational thinking.
  16. Hillary and Trump

Ron Paul seems like he was controlled opposition he never stood a chance.
  17. Hillary and Trump

I wonder if they have realised that she is in an untenable position.
  18. Hillary and Trump

Goose and cooked. Hillary is about to get thrown under a bus by the looks of things.
  19. Non-duality

No, that is an added your caveat which didn't appear in you syllogism. I gave the positive so there could be no error in understanding. Experience doesn't require conceptual understanding, perception is automatic, conception has to be carried out actively. If we are to differentiate and integrate the experience we need to have conceptualised it. The perceiver percieves reality directly. He can make an error in conceptualisation, or even choose to evade the perception. Whatever he chooses to do, he cannot avoid the reality of doing so.
  20. Non-duality

    Sounds obscure. Reality isn't abstract.
  21. Non-duality

You are chasing negatives. Stated positively. ALL experiences are real. It is for perceiver to understand the experience. This is the origin of concept formation. The perceiver has to first differentiate an experience from all other experiences, then to integrate them into a conceptual hierachy.
