LOL yes indeed a wonderful insight.
  2. scary stuff

Do what you can.use your abilities to create or help create the world you hope to live in.apply yourself to positive actions that promote wellbeing to the myriad of life forms around you.Regardless of our views on world politics and the general apathy of society the fact remains that all of us take from the earth far more then we give back. I beleive we must be honest to ourselves in this regard, otherwise it is easy to look to others as scapegoats.
  3. Hearing the Cries of the World

    Clear,concise and wonderful! Thanks Lin
  4. Spiritual ADD

Well I think one problem many of us have is we think we are already immortal.Deep down we believe we'll always have another chance to get things right.Try another practice, think a bit more about- how we should be and what we should do. If our hearts are true and our intentions clear,if we are cognintent of the fact that this life as we know it can end in an instant, then there is no time for regrets or half assed actions. How we value life is demonstrated in our daily deeds. Are we awake Or half a sleep wondering.
  5. Ajna chakra

In no way did I mean to be critical and my apologise to you if you have taken offense.I was not implying that you haven't read Buddhist scripture.Merely poseing the question Do we only see and exprience that which has a foundation in our wakeing life? Do those images and forms which spring to life during deep meditation and dreams exsist outside of our prior knowledge of them? Are not all manifestations regardless of content projection of mind? Thankyou for sharing your expriences.

  7. One evening I attended a qigong healing session in a small flat run by a chinese man and his wife.Hands down he was the healhtiest looking human I have ever seen absoutely radiated energy, really cooked the room. After a couple intresting hours it was time to leave, upon walking out the door I accidently rubbed shoulders with his wife. I can only describe the sensation of being in contact with her as complete envelopement. Her softness seemed without end.My body felt as though it been sucked into black hole. Instantly I realized two things The candle is no match for the candle stick holder And know the male but cling to the female.
  8. Ajna chakra

  9. Why Taoism is different

Once I met a lawyer who was working in the central desserts of Australia, he told me that some linguist had spent the last two years constructing a dictionary of a local dialect. The Lawyer had informed the elders that perhaps it wasn't in their best intrest to have the dictionary produced due to cultural reasons. The Elders informed the lawyer that it was ok because what they had told the lingusts was back to front and full of false meanings. It still cracks me up to think that these linguist had spent all that time constructing a dictionary that was all wrong and the Elders had taken the time to bother with it.
  10. Why Taoism is different

Well not all but only some aboriginal tribes preformed various comestic sugeries on their willys. In regards to splitting the penis length ways for years antropologists believced it had something to do with vagina envy, but alas like with so many other observations in regard to aboriginal life they were hugely mistaken. It turns out that the men and only men of high learning i.e those individuals who had undergone rigourous intiation spilt the penis length ways to replicate a male kangaroos penis which is also spilt down the centre. The blood that issued force was used in what is termed increase ceremony were the dreaming ancestor of the kangaroo was encouraged to continue to supply or manifest kangaroos. This procedure apart from being incredibly painful, also acted as a means of birth control and was often refered to as whistleing dick.

  12. the warrior diet

I agree beans ,cheese especially soft cheese like double thick brie(if you do eat sugar have some soft cheese afterwards the lactoferrins will stop that nasty sugar from unleashing free iron into your temple. Eggs good quality happy free range eggs from happy chickens who are allowed to do what the godess intended chickens to do are magic bullets. They are the perfect protein shot which is easy for your temple to assimalte. Full of wonderful lethicin which enhances your mylein sheath so your brain works in an effective manner.ovoferrin to help with the iron.I could go on and on. Eggs are miracle in a shell and when there on your plate its like stareing at the sun.
  13. the warrior diet

Sugar and carbs are the two biggest culprits. Cut them out of your diet and you will lose weight guaranteed. Also swim in cold water, will shrink your balls if ya have em but colds and flus become a thing of the past. And you burn so much energy trying to maintain satsis you cant be fat. In fact here in southern victoria Australia during winter the water temp is about 12c so its big serves of butter and full fat everything in my home. Dont talk to me about cholesterol its all bullshit. ps I think the warrior diet is perfect if hunting and killing is your aim.

  16. K?

I'am fortunate were I live there are some enormous trees.I also spend a lot of time up trees prunning hard wood logs for agroforestry.I learned early in the piece to behave with a certain dergree of reverence, which resulted in a lot less cut fingers and hands and a lot less insect bites. It sounds crazy but when I enter a new plantation I verbally express out loud my admiration for the beauty and form of the trees and explain clearly what my intentions are. I can feel from touching the tree weather it is strong or stressed in need of light or water. Some of the trees in the district would be over 200 years old, they are of such beauty and value that anyone who see's them, cannot help but be moved by the presence. Often I stand and exchange energy with them and on more then one occassion have been healed from my various human afflictions be it physical or emotional. Some trees are very welcoming pulling you into there bark seeking embrace others are stand offish wanting nothing to do with you. No matter. Were would we be without them? Last week I planted a thousand next week a thousand more. Now back to more thrilling trips! Smile you are one brave guy.

  19. Violently ill when falling in love?

Well in tcm the small intestine and the heart are linked together. The heart being yin to the small intestines yang. The role of the small intestine is to evaluate what is needed and what isn't. The role of the heart has been compared to the emperor, whose role traditionally was to maintain the link between earth and heaven. The small intestine must evaluate what information is being tramsmitted from the outside world and judge weather it will have a positive or negative effect on the emperor or heart. The function of small intestine 19 "listening palace, "ting gong" forms a archetype between the heart and small intestine. The over all function implied by "ting gong" is to listen to our heart and the heart of others without deviation. When we listen this way we come to the true nature of any given situation by passing the need to analyze with our minds. The capacity to listen maybe said to empower intuition. The character gong in this instance designates the private residenc of the emperor and alludes to the emphasis on the relationship between listening and the heart official as emperor in ones inner kingdom. Due to pass trauma the small intestine and the heart official can be thrown off balance. The heart has become prisoner to an over protective small intestine which feel threaten by outside forces. The heart instructions can no longer be heard protected as it were from unbalanced small intestine. Therefore the mandate from heaven is severed and the heart suffers because it is no longer allowed to express its true nature. I hope this was of some benifit to you.

  21. How to make good karma?

To endeavour to illicit good karma is as foolish as as actively participating in bad karma. When we consider our actions to be good or bad we have automatically removed ourselves from the Tao.When our will is aligned to the will of heaven our actions become correct and we are where we are meant to be.We do what we are meant to do. I'am sure all of us have had that sense of flow which stems from being grounded still and at peace. Our actions acquire power because they are born of integrity.People respond to this alignment to heaven. We become conduits flowing with the qualities of true life.Creative,peaceful,nourishing. By returning to emptiness and stillness heaven and earth can have their congress within us.And we take our rightful place. Our true natures allowed then to fullfill destiny.
  22. Regret in life

Well my understanding of clasic daoist internal alchemy is faint to say the least but from my reading what shines through over and over again is the notion of > return<. The foundation of daoist philosphy is a return to Tao. Daoist scripture are infused with stillness as represented by earth or yin and emptiness which is assigned to heaven and yang.By means of correct cultivation the cultivator spins back the the cycle of five phases, molds the yin of water with yang of fire and returns to the perfection of Tao, which contains, yet lies beyond the concept of life and death. So the emphasis as always is on the individual no matter what the teaching, if one does not apply one self how can there be success? You say the slow death of ageing digusts you.I believe we should always look closely at any phenomena which elicits a strong response within us. Tell me do the colour of autumn leaves bother you? Does the sunsetting in the west bother you? The metal phase of the fall is assigned the emotion of grief when it is unbalanced.Grief for the the apparent decline, the slow return to earth. Yet it retains that which is of greatest value, the seed, the life force. So what may appear to be only decline and decreption may harbour within its core the very essence of new life. The quality of what has been deposited to the earth in autumn dictates the quality of new life in spring
