  1. What became of Qigong Master Yan Xin?

Thanks for posting... Yes I find it strange that there is currently not actually a Wikipedia page for Dr Yan Xin... who is in my opinion the greatest known living Qigong master (I'm sure there may be others hidden away in monasteries and mountains, but we don't hear of them. I am actually going to create (or perhaps re-create) a Wikipedia page about him, because I think his knowledge and techniques are of up-most importance to the world, especially in this current age of assault on health, freedom, creativity, emotion etc... There have also been quite a few new YouTube videos posted of Yan Xin's lectures.. I will link some of the YouTube channels hosting them... Might be worth downloading these incase they are removed at somepoint for whatever reason. Here is an English translation over the top of Dr Yan Xin's speaking, concerning the aforementioned "9 Step Inner Child Longevity" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AguvqEGcmAw
  2. Thank you for sharing your amazing experiences.
  3. Internal vacuum/ diffusing chi/ MCO

I am by no means an advance level practitioner, but when I was practising the most about 5 months ago or so, I could get that tingly/electric/orgasmic energy sensation both while lying down in darkness, timing my breathe with this sensation of tingly energy flowing upwards and down simultaniously, then moving opposite directions to both join up near the centre of my body. I've also had similar experiences when doing horse stance + Zhan Zhuang standing practises outdoors, although this sensation was limited to my lower body, and I was unable to move it up while standing. I would say keep at it with these practises while trying to keep it going for longer without loss of focus etc... but I'm no expert, Bruce Frantzis has some really great stuff, Chi Revolution is great if you haven't read that. Lot's of info and exercises. Best of luck!
  4. Yan Xin's Free Energy Secret

Interesting thread, Dr Yan Xin seems like one of the most advanced mainstream practicioners. Does anyone know if there is much going on with his Qi Gong system currently interms of lectures/groups/clubs etc... Especially in the UK or Europe. Thanks! Probably worth bumping this thread for some of the techniques and info contained anyway.
  5. Electric Qigong School

Ok thanks Krankenhaus, I personally believe those videos are legit but I am happy to be disproved, I personally have managed to manipulate the wind, and I have a friend who when was younger with a bunch of friends managed to part the clouds in a circle above them when it was raining by what he described as an "anti-rain dance", which was apparently repeated again that day after the clouds rejoined and started raining on them again. Obviously they knew nothing of chi as they were 10 (or so) year old British kids messing around in the woods, but that is probably an ideal age to naturally be intune with your energies and those of universe.
  6. Qi gong feats

Wow, thanks for posting... quite funny I used to watch this show when I was younger on ITV channel in the UK This doesn't explain the money levitating or the level of control of direction the beggar has over the card but it definitely shows that it is not entirely mystical or extraordinary.
  7. Electric Qigong School

What do you think of these video Krankenhaus? Guy has a whole bunch of videos showing different phenomenon if you have the time/willingness to check them out.
  8. What are you listening to?

    Try this https://uk.proxfree.com/permalink.php?url=s54aaHA%2FaGsaD5vHs0QZLcUclS%2FcUxrnNZwEMCiA0I8qudjsSPkhzI%2FguMh2khZGWPg%2FHb5tB34Ux59iEz0k7g%3D%3D&bit=1
  9. What are you listening to?

Two of the most touching pieces of music from two of the most talented musicians alive. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iQPv0cS8_2w
  10. Qi gong feats

No wire, his hand goes both above and below the cards when spinning, and the note he gets given is put into his tip jar afterwards then he resumes with the floating/spinning cards, no way wires are involved. Also notice when he is "building" the energy for the money levitating, one card on the floor also shifts with the energy coming out of his hand. No tricks in my opinion.
  11. Qi gong feats

Yet nothing moves when he is not "doing" something to it? Also the empty packet of M&Ms is within cm of the things he is manipulating yet does not even flicker. A possible explanation but I don't think this is the case here.
  12. Where is my Qi?

Excellent links, thanks for sharing with us! In your opinion, what would be good to remedy the negative effects of excessive computer use (besides limiting it's use, which I am happy to do but I use the computer everyday for extended periods due to almost all my creative passions requiring it's use - music composition, video game design etc...)? Warming and Qi restoring herbs such as ginseng, longan berry, licorice root etc? P.S I definitely consider myself to have a weak stomach, get stomach aches and flatulence from a few different food sources which I try to avoid, aswell as being intolerant of chili and lactose. - Apparently my being a metal sheep is related to this also.
  13. Qi gong feats

Thank you very much Brian! Take care
  14. Poison the rats or what can anyone suggest.

I too don't like to kill any living creatures (even insects like mosquitoes, I just catch them in a cup and throw them outside, sometimes vacuum spiders up but apparently they can survive in there). I always thought if I had a rat or pest problem I would buy bulk bags of the cheapest grains or whatever (wheat or oats or something) and start putting some outside for them, and progressively put it further and further away until they were no longer a nuisance, only draw back (apart from the slight monetary cost and 10 minutes or so going out and putting it out for them) I can imagine would be maybe attracting even more animals than there were originally, but if it was far enough away that shouldn't pose a problem really. Just my hypothetical approach. P.S why is it that women are always more up for getting rid of pests or creatures violently lol? My mum just squishes any insects onsight and poisons rats, salt on slugs etc...
  15. .

I can certainly agree with that, for me the main reason being that it can became.. A. an addiction/compulsive habbit B. a time sink and waste of time C. a way to lose energy by negatively reacting to "bullshit" that is posted on there alot of the time, I personally have frustrated myself countless times trying to debate or "prove people wrong". Finally nipped the bud (in the bud..? lol) and only go on there to check messages like an email service, mainly because I currently haven't had a mobile phone for about 6 months (and loving the freedom) so it's one of the only ways I can organise stuff with people and keep in contact. That being said as a musician and artist it does have it's uses when it comes to spreading content and showcasing/advertising your work, but from now on I'm just gonna do that hit and run style, post whatever productive things I need to then immediately logout and check up on it for a couple of minutes the next day when checking messages.
  16. The head of the Russian mafia

I personally don't think this singing "strong" (or good for that matter) at all, sounds exactly what I'd imagine a Mafia boss to sound like, hoarse, grated and worn out, sounds like any Russian or Polish alcoholic singing. For me this is some real powerful singing (don't really listen to their music much anymore but this guy in his prime was one of the best vocalists around IMO).
  17. Qi gong feats

Just a guess, I'd say 5-10 years of intensive meditative practises and working with manipulating chi, Nei gong and Nei Dan are similar to Qigong but more internalised and more about sensing and moving energy with your system and interacting with the energies outside you that pervade the Universe. Saw this very interesting video the other day, seems 100% legit to me. I've also seen others using "telekinesis" and "electro kinesis (doing stuff you described, shorting out light bulbs etc..).. Sorry I don't know how to embedd videos on here.
  18. Marblehead, sorry to say this, but you have nearly 30k posts yet a very narrow minded viewpoint and arrogant attitude, " much to learn, you still have" as Yoda would say. Also apologies that I do not have anything to contribute to this thread although I found it very interesting... I agree with much that Innersoundqigong has posted. +1 to the Roger Penrose stuff... the guy is one of the few leading academics and nobel prize winners that has some real common sense and knowledge, instead of just being a human calculator *cough Stephen Hawkins cough*.
  19. Wow very nice, I'm suprised noone else has commented on this, perhaps it would have been exposed to more viewers in the "General Discussion" section, might be worth asking to get it moved into there so more people are able to view the contents? Thanks for posting! Starting to read "Explaining Taiji Principles by Yang Banhou" now https://brennantranslation.wordpress.com/2013/09/14/explaining-taiji-principles-taiji-fa-shuo/
  20. West and East

This is what I've always believed, once anyone from anywhere in the world and at any time period reaches some level of "enlightenment" or spiritual wisdom, they will encounter the same experiences and knowledge, regardless of the system used or the prior beliefs held. Pythagoras, Jesus, Buddha, and Lao Tzu probably all would agree with each other if they had the capabilities to speak and understand each other.
  21. Qi gong feats

Would this be "trebor7" from Youtube you are referring to?
  22. My theory on body energy and spiritual growth

I'm 24 and there are 110 year old qigong/tai chi practitioners that are both more in shape and more sharp of mind than me, and judging by your attitude I'd say the same would apply to you.
  23. Perfect Health Diet

I personally think high fat diet (health fats of course) is the best also, as it is what our ancestors used to live off before domestication of grains and the advent of agriculture. Also the brain is 75% fat. For me the best diet would be mainly seeds, nuts, vegetables, small amount of meat and fruits, then lots of healthy oil like organic extra virgin coconut/olive oil - essentially mainly fats and fiber, followed by protein then small amount of healthy carbs (no grains or cereals ideally, little to no white starchy carbs. That's what works best for me interms of feeling energised and not drained by eating, also what our digestion system is best geared for considering it hasn't changed in the last 40,000 years. Combined with "intermittent fasting" this is very close to how our ancestors would have naturally eaten.
  24. Hi there I've loved white teas for quite a few years now, but have only drank supermarket grade "organic white tea" that is made from dustings and put into tea bags (always had to use a bit of honey, or lemon juice). At the start of the week I purchased some very nice silver needle white tea at £10 for 50g, which is by far the best tea I have ever tasted in my life. I am currently abstaining from my previously excessive cannabis and high quality craft beer/ales consumption, and the white tea is really acting as a substitute in the fact of how enjoyable the smells and tastes are, and the calming yet invigorating effect is really helping my productivity in my creative projects. Anyway to get to the point, I am wondering how much would be considered TOO much silver needle white tea? I am using distilled water so there are no harmful chemicals or heavy metals in there, although I know tea contains small amounts of flouride (although I assume high quality silver needle will be very low in that), and that the first infusion of white tea can contain a fair amount of caffiene. I am currently using about 2-3g a day, spread over 3 infusions or so, I can definitely feel a pronounced and enjoyable physiological effect from this much, so I am wondering if I am perhaps indulging a bit too much ( I do drink from very large cups, about 2-3 times the size of a standard coffee/tea mug). I feel that it is moving my chi around my system more efficiently/pronouncedly, but is there a possibility of "losing" chi from it being spurred to move around and perhaps out of the body? In terms of the fact that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, am I draining myself by using this and myself being more productive? Meaning perhaps the next day I will be more drained/tired than usual, or that I will be using up my creative energy too fast and have to "recharge" at a later time. Many thanks
  25. Thanks for the info, I have sort of unconsciously limited my intake of white tea to about once every 2 or 3 days (although still quite a few cups/steeps during that sitting), I think I have not enough heat in my stomach/spleen to begin with being a (metal) sheep, and I've always had trouble tolerating chili (gives me a stomach ache) and being lactose intolerant some dairy products give me a bit of a stomach ache/flatulence. I also drink quite a lot of ale/beer which I believe releases yang leading to coldness if consumed too regularly or in excess. I will try to limit my intake of both and balance them out with teas consisting of warming spices such as turmeric+cloves+ginger+black pepper (quite nice actually with some coconut oil in there to give it an almost soup like thickness). Do you think this would be a good method (Balancing with opposite type beverages in the same day)?
