What is usually described as "light" is related to Northern method of alchemy. We are now preparing a translation of article about Southern and Northern methods of Taoism, we are going to publish it soon. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov -
After taken a look on our discussions here I've found it useful to express my opinon on such an important topic. As far as I know, tolerance was introduced as an instrument to fix injustice - in sex, race, age etc. That means when justice is established and you are not breaking it again, you don't need to focus on tolerance anymore. It is like with taste sensation. Taste is given people to distinguish good and bad food. If one's taste is broken we need to fix it. If person eats nothing, saying that all the food is bad, we need to use tolerance showing him that good food actually exist. If person eats everything we need to use intolerance to teach him how to distinguish between good and bad food. Overusing tolerance leads to loosing taste which inevitably leads to eating trash, sooner or later... Tolerance and intolerance should be in balance. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov

Ok. We probably can finally go forth. Its nice and I have a question to Administration here: Can we now expect to be able to make a balanced meaningful talk without being continuousely attacked by "Taoist Texts", "awaken" or any other forum members? Can I expect moderators team respect me and my students the same way as other members and would keep any personal attacks on us off the forum? We are going to contribute greatly to the Taoist Community on the West but we need a clean site to start on. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov

effilang, you usually ask pretty big questions. I will take a look at others' posts later. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov

1. You are trying to equalize everything. We will end in saying being a human and being an animal is the same if animal feels itself ok. If you would like to understand what blindness is just put a blindfold on your eyes and live 1-2 days like that. After that you would have a real opinion on how blindness changes life and can you just ignore it saying "my life is as colorful as before". 2. First, who said you spirit has no sexuality? Actually this question has a direct answer and a reason behind it. Secondly you might be mixing up traditions working solely with spirit (most of modern systems are about it) and traditions working with both spirit and yuan qi (and yuan qi is the part determining sex of a person). 3. Lets make an experiment. When you next time are going to have a meal - please notice if are you thinking like "I think today I need to want eat more sugar" or you are thinking like "Hey I want suger. Dont know why, but I defeinitely want it!". Or another experiment: you can try not to drink for some time. Please notice what would happen earlier: you would notice a desire to drink or you would think that "I haven't been drinking for 3 hours 31 minutes. Now its time for me to drink." By doing this any fellow forum member can easily find if taste is being controlled by mind or not. BTW the entire Chinese food system is based on this principle. 4. That might be ok. Usually person needs some rare product if he/she has some rare deviation in his / her metabolism. And eating such a product can make person healthy again. If that was not a desire of mind! 5. After they've become an immortal. Before that they can only be as they were born. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov

It is exactly what our Teacher in China says about healing others. Unless a person has an unlimited primordial energy he better not heal anyone but finish his cultivation first. Otherwise he will waste it and wouldn't even be able to finish the practice. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov -

Yes that is true. The difference between Schools is that in WuLiupai you should pass difficult stages of novitiate but your cultivation is being fully controlled by your Teacher (in Chinese way - no democracy, tolerance etc.) While in Yuxianpai the instructions are being transmitted by Teacher as well but he wouldn't intervene in your everyday life. Your result will depend solely on your personal practice. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov -

Laozi has actually said: With sincere people I am sincere. With people who are not sincere I am sincere too. And it is how am I doing. That is an example when wrong translation leads to violation of Tolerance Taiji and yes results in eating trash, sooner or later. And once again shows us the importance of finding a True Teacher (who will point you to the correct path). Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov -
For sure. It should have been the first thing any genuine instructor should do introducing his teaching: Name his/her teacher. Name his/her school. What have we seen instead? 1) Attacks against WuLiupai School claming we are "fake dao, useless methods, making money" - all 3 statements are completely false and I explained why in a corresponding threads. 2) Starting with saying "school is not important". For any member of any taoist / buddhist / confucianist school - the school is like a family. And hiding the name of the school is an extremely rude violation of xiao (Filial piety). Such a person is regarded a betrayer and looses respect of anyone. 3) Unfortunately "awaken" has not answered any of the questions being asked her. Not from me not from anyone. Answering them could have shown here level... But she avoided doing that. Everyone can make his/her own conclusion why. I can personally add that she is oftenly using common qigong terms which are not being used in Neidan at all. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov
-
Right. We have a lot of Russian students who can easily confirm WuLiupai is nothing of what "awaken" has written about. But only few of them knows English to say it here. However we are going to translate their testimonials and post here in a separate topic. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov

The main formula here is - to clean it regularly. Similar to how you do it in your house or how city services do on the streets. And secondly you can try to take yourself away from dirt. Did he? Any kind of qigong is allright in case it doesn't harm people. The difference in WuLiupai is that Jiuyangshengong uses special mechanism to initiate yuanqi movements inside of a practitioner's body (]not ordinary qi but yuanqi) and that is why it has that 16 specialities we can discuss a bit later. So it can only look similar to spontaneous qigong but not being it actually. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov

1. As far as I know by now we have only had 2 registered WuLiupai students here - with names opendao and alchemist. There of course may also be some common people who have been learning from us as an external (out-of-school) students but we in no way are controlling their opinions. I believe it is their right to register on the forum and express their thoughts. Moreover if a person sees someone saying lies I believe we should respect his/her natural desire to restore the justice. Especially if it is not just abstract lies but attack on his Teachers or his School - which has always been treated as a big family in China. 2. I can't agree there was no contribution in other topics. As far as I know our students have always been trying to explain WuLiupai and Yuxianpai position to cultivation process, teaching from books and so on. Of course someone can disagree with it but at least he would know the different point of view. 3. Even if we are talking about debunking profanes... If it would save at least one seeker from following the false path and loosing life for it - I believe it wasn't in vain. I believe it is actually the reason why Patriarchs of the past were criticising profanes of their time in the texts. 4. Anyway we are now even more willing to contribute much to the forum's discussions. Everyone is welcome to participate. Meaningful discussions would be more than useful for all the fellow DaoBums members Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov -
Are you talking about Vitalii Lishina? He is known as a creator of false school in Russia with funny stories of him being found by true taoist patriarch in a park of small city in Ukraine, after that being taught by him without knowing Chinese, by telepathy. We feel sorry for people who managed to believe such a fables. He once promised people to introduce them to his nonexistent "teacher" in China - people left him after that trip saying "So we were in China. Didn't manage to find Vitalii's teacher. Leaving his "school" now". Actually noone can "drive" someone out of the forum (except being banned). But if a person is introducing fakes and has no more arguments to support his words - you shouldn't be surprised by him leaving the discussion. One more pointless post. You better finally admit your fault about not knowing basic Patriarch's words about necessity of a True Teacher Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov

Books are about increasing the mind. Inner Alchemy is about pre-heaven energy, body and lessening the mind. All 3 Inner Alchemy aspects are either impossible to learn from books or even pointing us to wrong direction. Lets take for example body aspect. Body in Alchemy is being balanced in all the senses. Trying to achieve this balance by reading instructions in books (btw you can barely find such instructions in texts at all) is same as trying to become a professional soccer player by reading training course book. Of course you would get some theory knowledge but it in no way make your body actually balanced - being able to not miss a kick and so forth. Please don't think I am just teasing you here. Great part of Taoist knowledge is not a school-specific and all fellow members will be able to use it practicing by another school. In case of learning from us it would be Ma Danyang's Tradition (Yuxianpai School). It is not a formal criteria of nationality. It is mostly about culture, upbringing, local traditions and so on. Some of which could help in practicing WuLiupai methods but some would slow you down and even may raise deviations on certain levels of practice. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov -

You can try to check yourself with Zhang Boduan's text If fellow members are ready I will soon post an article about different methods and ways of practice in Taoism. Working on it. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov -
We've seen no respect from him to no one on this forum. My students also told me he was the same on other forums in the past. Same - no respect, trolling and empty claims about his genius. He usually had been banned there. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov

It is not the same channel as TCM channel on your picture. That is why Patriarch Zhang said: Physicians (medics) do not know of its existence... Location of these channels only becomes understandable after person opens them with alchemic practice (though there are some notes about it in that text by Zhang Boduan). Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov -

Correct point. It is always quite easy to check your eyes with other feelings. For example trying to move your hand through the brick wall. Sometimes incorrect practices of false schools may lead a one to completely loose sense of reality - in this case he/she should use another person to check his/her state. BTW not doing do such a checks is similar to watching TV or photos or playing computer games - and believing everything inside is a true. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov -
Hello Dean, I personally see it out of Tolerance Taiji simply because it leads to extinction of such people. If we speak from Neidan perspective, our Teachers treat it as a serious deviation and there is no way to succeed in Neidan methods in our School unless person manages to correct this deviation. Otherwise he/she needs to look for another school. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov

Thank you effilang. I actually was unaware of that feedback you probably already seen http://www.thedaobums.com/topic/42478-learning-from-immortals/page-5#entry722108 . We have a numerous results like this. Some people like to share their experience, some not. But I am going to open a thread with some of our students' testimonials so everyone can see if our method works. But all my words above are about qigong and basics of Neidan, self-healing and positive changes in your life. Why? Please see Ge Hong's words I've posted yesterday: Highest neidan achievements are out of publicity because there is absolutely no need for it. Moreover it is much more clever to hide them. Not without a reason Laozi said that a Sage should wear a simple clothes but hide a precious jade behind it. I believe the only thing needed for true seekers of Dao is knowledge that the Way exists and the direction where to seek for it. If there is fate - everything else would happen by itself with no doubts, proves and so on. If there is no fate - no publicity, proves, nothing can help in attaining the Dao. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov -
As "their" refers to me as well - I have so much to share with fellow members beyond that basics about School and a Teacher. And it is true that tranquil rythmic talk is much better. But we can put elixir only in a clean vessel otherwise it would just become dirty and turn to nothing... Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov

Inner organs are basically zà ng-fǔ in TCM. Pity you don't know even that. I obviously wasn't talking about invalids (disabled person). By the way, what about learning without a Teacher according to Ge Hong? If you need I can remind you. Ge Hong: "Besides of that a lot of the most important instructions are not written there [in books] at all... Since these instructions point to the depths and lead far away, so even if to write them down, yet a person who haven't recieved them from his Teacher would understand nothing from them" Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov

If we are speaking of a random man on in front of the temple door who claims he is a Lü Dongbing's descendant - it might be true. But if we are speking of a large family and large School with many disciples - it is impossible to fool all of them, putting there completely random person. Chinese not only cherish their genealogy. They wouldn't stupidly follow a person with a fake one. Best Regards, A.A.Khokhlov
