It is like walking a tight rope when have an emotional response and want to express it, but still have a duty to social decorum. Your stay on TDB rests entirely in your hands. I think you've cleaned it up some lately.

So you are saying the turning of the Dharma wheel in not evolution? OK. What you are failing to realize is that we are helping you by taking the time to converse with you and not reporting your outbursts, taunts and insults. Or maybe we are not, but you seem to think you are gaining something from these exchanges, exactly what it is, I am not entirely sure, but I'd place a wager on it being an addiction to dopamine and low serotonin levels. I hate to be the one to break it to you, but you do not have what it takes to destroy me or anyone else who has interacted with you on TDB. You are going to have to come up with a new method, because this one is not working for you if that's really your path. I really do not believe it is... I can not thank you for something I do not accept, it would be disingenuous.

In many ways TDB is a big family. There are those of us who have built personal relationships and genuinely love one another. We may ague and disagree on various topics, but I believe at the end of the day, if one bum had the opportunity or ability to help another bum they would. I have seen it and experienced it first hand. It is a choice (or maybe not when I think about the openness it takes) to be part of something and for it to have deeper meaning than just a place to "evolve" and "feel" what one might not otherwise feel in real life situations. As Marblehead stated earlier, "we want you to be "one of us", and in a sense, that is TDB family.

The narrative has changed over the years. It has gone from just evidence to scientific evidence and is now labeled as objective evidence that JC light up the LED. Asking logical, well-thought out questions will result in nothing new. You will get the same old pre-recorded message played hundreds of time across the forums. They simply do not care and will reiterate that they are looking for like-minded people who agree the video is enough evidence. I do not know about you, but I look for depth in a practice, not super powers that are commonly debunked and labeled as the trickery of circus sideshows. DISCLAIMER: I am not saying Chang did not/does not have power as a result of his meditation practices. I am saying that many do not have power or chi and this is a poor advertisement for a practice that is supposed to stop the cycle of reincarnation.

I am not saying you are at fault. There is no bowing down needed or implied to or by anyone. Power and superiority are things that hold us back the most. Letting go of the power is freeing. I'm of the mindset that you cannot go past the heart until the heart is open. There are very few who are active members, if any, on tdb who believe they are better than anyone else. I can guarantee you that Jeff does not think, nor does he believe that he is better than you or I, or a person on a street corner panhandling. Have you checked him out? I am sure he'd not mind. Real work is diving deep into ourselves with honesty and sincerity to rid ourselves of what holds us down. It is hard, but it is so worth it!

I believe you have misunderstood what he said. He is talking about your heart being open not his. There are a variety of practices spoken of on TDB that will help you to open your heart and a plethora of information. I can appreciate calling it like you see it. I am very much like that myself. That quality coupled with even an ounce grace and tact allows for a more open exchange. Frankly, my requirements for mating are none of your business and is not a topic for this conversation. Expanding your network might help you to evolve. Starjumper or anyone willing to answer, would you say that variations are or can be specific to an individual or to the system itself? Could a slight variation be more beneficial to one practitioner and not another without changing the intended outcome of the movement of a specific system?
