We are in the midst of an upgrade that should alleviate the problem. http://www.thedaobums.com/topic/41262-tdb-upgrade-testing-is-happening/?p=732779
  9. I've seen it marketed as Nasodern, you can buy it online, but you might check with stores like Sprouts, Whole Foods or GNC and the like to see if they carry it.

  11. Where is the Music?

Music becomes part of your soul when you can hear it, see it and feel it.
  12. Gateway to limitless being

I am still struggling with the changing of his personality to keep others seeking. Sadhguru, says, "The Guru-shishya relationship is on an energy basis. A Guru is touching you in a dimension where no one else can touch you". From my perspective when you are dealing with energy, there are two perspectives, yet still one being, the feminine (Shakti) and the masculine (Shiva), yin and yang or what some might call reception (the filter) and transmission. There is no manipulating that energy into anything, energies will naturally balance without any doing on the part of the guru or the shishya. If a bond is formed with an "limitlessly empty" guru, the energy bond and balance should be enough to sustain the seeker without any involvement of personality changes to suit the needs of the seeker, as it would be part a natural flow of where the energy leads. The energy is what shakes us up on the inside, and working with the guru, who is the conduit for said energy and sort of a stabilizer allows us to go deeper and to clear more than we would be able to on our own. I am of the belief that once a person (guru or shishya) reaches a certain level of realization the personality naturally evolves and continues to do so, but is not to be engineered to suit perceived needs of another or to reach them in some manner. Being anything other than who you truly are for any reason is a form of manipulation. Shiva, at the highest levels, is unchanging, and as a gateway to Adiyogi, would Sadhguru not strive to be as Shiva, rather than a manufactured version of himself? http://isha.sadhguru.org/blog/yoga-meditation/demystifying-yoga/what-is-a-guru/

  15. Gateway to limitless being

I made my initial post almost 4 hours ago. Somethings I have made up my mind on, based on personal experiences and having read various sutras and other texts. Be assured, I am still chewing on some of it.
  16. Gateway to limitless being

"I am crafting a personality that creates enough of both so that their seeking never dies." โ€‹The need to create or to craft a personality or a way of being is conflicting; if we are truly empty with no attachments there is no need or desire to craft anything, we just are who and what we are, be it a doorway, a guru, or just an average Joe or Jane.

Yes, interesting, I am still chewing on it...

  19. Boozhoo! Hello!

Welcome to the bums The loss of you teacher must be difficult, I am very sorry for your loss.
  20. I encourage you to read this scripture in context; it is part of the Sermon on the Mount, Matthew chapters 5-7. In the passage, Jesus is giving instruction on how to live. In the scriptures you have quoted, the eye is not the physical eye. It is referring to character or morals. Ever heard the old saying about the eyes reflecting the soul?
  21. No, please do not be sorry. I have looked at this post quite a few times and not responded because, well, it is hard for me to share experiences. I do not have any remedies for you other than to stop practices and see if your focus improves and other symptoms subside, but what I can do is tell you that you are not alone and that you are not crazy. I know that there have been times for me when doing internal energy work that I have become very sleepy, unable to focus and had cold spots in areas of my body, namely the heart or the solar, and sometimes the entire chakra system. Usually after these experiences I have pretty good openings/clearing in those areas. I suspect that the sleepiness/tiredness comes from the energy that I am feeling, and has something to do with me being at a depth of consciousness that I am not yet able to sustain. As for the cold spots, it has been said that is indicative of pure light energy flowing cleaning up obstructions. Try not to fret, you are opening up and are getting to a point where you are more receptive to the energies around you. If it becomes too much, take a break from practice for a few days. My main point here is that you are not alone in your experiences and you can and will move beyond this.
  22. CIA's proof of telepathy

There is no doubt in my mind that there are people with natural or attained abilities. The ones who bluster "abilities", are the least likely to be genuine...
