You can defend your view of humor in any manner you choose, even to the extent of calling those that take issue with it thin skinned. You, yourself, in the title called it humor, so I find your explanation to be an effort to save face in the midst of disagreement. My view will never change when it comes to joking about or spoofing reprehensible and vicious crimes. It is of poor taste, and really has no place on TDB. Would it still be funny and acceptable humor if someone you love were kidnaped, raped or murdered? I am sure this type of content is just what Sean had in mind for TTB when it was initially set up. A place that folks can get a good laugh and joke around about heinous crimes against women is just what every good Taoist forum should be. Have you noticed that no one is laughing?

it is hard to tell what is authentic or not in this thread because of all of the back and for about liars, scammers, charlatans, etc. Be the teacher and voice of your own truth. If you guys put half the time into teaching that you have put into belittling one another, there would be a couple of great threads to compare and contrast. Most of the teachings and "truths" are just lost in all of the drama...

I have read the entire thread carefully. There is not a lot that I miss when the rules are being breached. I am well aware of what is happening here. There are no double standards, the rules apply to everyone. The warning applies to any and everyone posting in the thread who insults another. Take the warning seriously or not, that is up to you. I hope that you decide on a different way to defend and prove your system.

If your definition of replying accordingly is to personally insult someone who disagrees with your system, then you are mistaken. Please take the warning in this thread seriously and seek out another way to defend and define your respective systems.

I like football. but I would not call myself a fan of any particular team. When the Oilers left Houston, I lost interest. I could never get on board with the Texans, and it just felt odd rooting for Titans. There was no way I was supporting the Cowboys just because they were another home state team. There is definitely a problem in Arizona, and I am sure it reaches far outside of the borders of this state. Our oldest daughter moved lived with us in Arizona back in 2011 to go to school, naturally, she registered to vote when she got her AZ driver's license. In 2014, she moved back to Texas, where again, she registered to vote when obtaining her driver's license. The flaw that I am seeing, first hand, I still get ballots for her in the mail, here in AZ. I shred them, but who is to say had I not intercepted them that they could not be used to cast a vote by someone. She votes in Texas in her county of registration. Despite contacting the elections division in the AZ secretary of state's office, changing her address with the USPS, she is registered to vote in two states. The potential for this to be happening with others in Arizona and other states is pretty apparent.
