Only the person who is on trial and the accuser knows the real truth, and then, it comes to the truth as they each see it. Perspective...

tillness? please explain. sorry, I am picking on you

Do not all three of your questions involve I? After you have answered those three, in a spiritual sense, which you seem to be avoiding, there is a who am I question. You can disagree all you like, but before one can meet and see enlightenment we truly need to know who we are first. You know this as well as anyone, you choose to ignore it. I will not argue, Karl. The truth is the truth. Who am I is a valid question to be answered on the path to enlightenment. You already know the answer <3

The true nature of self begs the question... Who am I? Sometimes, Karl, you seem to have some depth, and then you make comments like this. I know, you know...

Is it the duty of a Taoist to protect Nature?
Kar3n replied to Golden Dragon Shining's topic in Daoist Discussion
In my humble opinion, Taoist or not, it is the duty of every human being to preserve whatever they can. I and my family spend a lot of time out doors, we come upon places that have been littered and abused, we clean it up. It should not take spirituality or some sort of awakening to keep all that is precious that our earth gives us clean and pure. -
There is a breezeway to enlightenment, a gentle place that we get glimpses of what it is like to truly just be in our purest form. That place for me has been when bodhicitta and sunyata meet. In that place, if we are truly looking, we meet and see ourselves as we truly are and can forgive, accept ourselves and let go. We must first start within and then reach outward.

How long are meditating? Have you tried sitting on the floor on a zafu? A short sun salutations yoga routine might help you stretch and lengthen your hip flexors, relieving some of the tension in your abductors and groin. Frog stretch is a good one for the groin. Pay attention to your piriformis muscle too by doing swan pose. Best of luck and much love.

The thread has disappeared again. It is not polite to laugh at folks, but I am human, and I am failing miserably in this case...

Best advice comes from your body. From your reaction, your body says, no, rather violently. In your OP you said you tried a smoothie with a small amount and still "got mildly sick". Listen to your body, It is talking to you. Why are you asking strangers if it is ok to introduce smaller amounts when you already have the answer? Why is this form of algae so important to you?

Just start with a about 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes before bed; focus on your breath. If your mind wanders off, come back to the breath. You will eventually get the hang of it. As time goes on, you will be able to go for longer periods of time with out thinking or trying. If you fall asleep, that's ok too. You can always meditate when you wake up

Stop grasping at trying to feel, that is probably your biggest hindrance in experiencing anything while meditating. It might take a little bit, but once you drop the expectations of 'feeling' energy or anything else, it will happen spontaneously.

Hello Welcome to the bums!

Well, I'd say if you are a jellyfish or a croc then you are set, otherwise, there is work to be done. I have read that folks who are highly evolved spiritually tend to have a younger appearance and are generally more healthy. I do not have the links handy at the moment, but I can look if you are genuinely interested.

We had a pair as pets when I was a kind. One of them was the sweetest bird, the other, mean, mean, mean. She would bite her mate, the dogs, us. They lived to be about 12, they died within days of each other.

They are wild here. I see them, many of them together, at the park just up the street from my house hanging out in the olive trees.

My husband had a vasectomy years ago. It has had no adverse effects on him spiritually. If you do have it done, I suggest you follow the doctor's orders to the letter afterward.

I was so excited to see a pair of love birds in the palms this morning I might have squealed like a little girl and scared them off. They were fairly young. I do hope they return.
