And, there are plenty of young women out there who feel just as inferior as you do. When's the last time you saw a magazine cover that was not photoshopped in such a way that the cover model was not without blemish? When two people have a mutual respect and love for one another none of the superficial things matter.

Do not think about what you are giving up, think of what you are gaining by not being clouded. Best of luck. -

I love gardening and watching plants flower and bare fruit, however, a summer garden in Arizona in far more expensive to maintain than hitting the local market for fresh local produce. -
The baby woodpeckers and their parents have left the nest. The females took flight rather quickly and easily. The lone male baby was pretty unsure and made an awful lot of noise about being left alone. Momma woodpecker coaxed him out patiently and they flew of in unison. It was nice to see them all survive this year. A pair of grackles have made a nest in the palm fronds just above the woodpecker's house in the hole in the side of the tree. There is another pair of birds I've not identified yet who are nesting in the fig tree.

I did a little reading on Saint Symeon and found an interesting piece in The Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society. BECOMING LIKE GOD: AN EVANGELICAL DOCTRINE OF THEOSIS

My thought would be connection and intent.

Leaving home, what should I do about my parents, and how do I raise my vibration?

Have you begun your journey? -
I have a pair of woodpeckers that made a nice hole in one of my date palms and have hatched their babies there for the third year. They are good parents, ever vigilant, and constantly foraging and feeding...

I gently suggest that during and after you sit, focus on what you do feel, rather than what you do not. Do not let your mind get caught up in what you believe the meditation should be. It has been my experience that the more I focus on something that I have been told will happen, and the more I want it, the further away it seems to be. Just allow the experiences to unfold, let the energy do the work, not grasping at or attaching to any sensation; allow it to unfold, being open in mind and body. Keep practicing, keep breathing, you will get there. Much love

I rescued a pigeon from my pool last night. Poor thing had been in there for hours, I believe. I saw the surface of the water moving yesterday morning near the skimmer basket, and thought nothing of it until I saw the pigeon flopping in the water near the skimmer later in the evening. I have really never liked pigeons, they tend to be pretty messy. This one can stay as long as it likes, it still hanging out in my backyard this morning.

I read just fine, thank you. I do not share the same views as those at Westboro, and how you could equate anything that I have said to them and their hate-speech is pretty sad. Perhaps you should re-read what I have said. Good day.

Again where on earth are you getting anything based on religion or anti transgender ideology out of anything I have said? Everyone has a choice in how they conduct themselves. Part of the problem is no one wants to take personal responsibility for how they act and treat people, because it is always someone else's fault... the "if they weren't like that, I would not act like this" mentality is so over used, and a poor excuse.

Who said anything about religion, morality or wishes? Kindness is a choice, pure and simple. If you wish to attach morality, religion or wishes to it, that is yet another choice for you to make.

When we spend too much time taking notice of what we perceive to be another person's problem, we neglect to see those fingers pointing back at us. People really need to stop crying about rights and civil liberties and get on with being decent human beings. Imagine all of the BS that will disintegrate in the process.

Yes, yes, and yes! The more I want the less there is, the more I search, the less I find. When searching and wanting cease, the field of vision opens up to more...

You are likely to get many lengthy answers that will span the spectrum, but ultimately do what works for you. Try them back to back, it if is too much, do one in the morning and one in the evening. If it is still too much, eliminate one or do one every other day. Switch it up until you find a comfortable flow Welcome to the bums.
