  1. What is a Bindu?

Bindu-the word Anu, or Molecule. the true YOGIC interpretation is the Kustastha dot (bindu/bindi). A yogi practicing austere sadhana attains settlement at the kutashta dot which is the subtlest of the subtle. Kutastha is in between the eyebrows. The Anjacakra is the root of the Kutashta. So therefore the Kutastha in the front is reflected by Anjacakra in the occiptal region. The yogi then loses his entity and becomes pervaded by the dot. As my Guru says, Thus he spontaneously is detracted by the gross expansiveness surrounding him and settling in the dot he achieves contraction. Brahmanu is beyond this anu which a yogi attains after further austere endeavours for this is the state of nothingness, it exists yet is not definable, this is Kriyas transcendental state where a yogi ultimately achieves mergence and fulfills his human life. If you have actually seen it then its something you cant put into words, there are no words for it. As for the tantric version mentioned. well that is sheer horsecrap. LOL there are procedures known to a yogi that would use the term yoni etc but have nothing to do with the tantric sex gig.people that are into that are just misinterpreting what a true yogi knows. there is penetration indeed but it is all in the "visualization" and in particular using the items mentioned above........................
  2. Does AYP give bad kundalini advice?

RIGHT ON. Danger all over that site. some things are authentic but no one to show you how to do it properly. if one is on the right path their are road maps and big red flags along the way that are there for all to see as confirmations. its the same for all though experiences may vary. the guideposts let you know you are on the right track. that site is what it is. can be found here, in other countries and in India as well. i will talk on the crown if you are interested in another posts. almost 10pm here and time to sit. i do like your post though TI.
  3. OK FORGET what you read on Biology of Kundalini. Ms Dixon has NO IDEA what she is actually talking about and I have made that clear to her then she deleted my post which was appropriate considering she was quoting from her site and it is MISINFORMATION and this is what gets people in trouble. Almost all of what is out there to be found is pure crap. Especially when everyone tends to over analyze it. Atom bomb dreams in Laya Yoga. LOL really? I will tell you what LayaYoga is about as an example then im done. layayoga connotes mergence and yoga union. Ms Dixon of Biology of Kundalini has laya and kriya separated. This is fiction. By practicing austere Kriyayoga and mounting the gradual steps of Kriya and achieving the relative levels of realisation, one reaches the transcendental state of Kriya. The basic purpose of Kriya practice is to achieve union with the Absolute. Only if union with the Absolute in this manner is achieved, salvation occurs. This is layayoga, the mergence or absolute union and human life is fulfilled if it undergoes layayoga. No Yogi can return back to his living being state after attaining Layayoga. The present living being state is kinetic, Kriya practice annihilates Prana-dynamism and facilitates the living beings state to become static and attain mergence. The Void or Nothingness or Wu Wei or The Tao or Brahma or anything else you want to call it is STILL. NOTHINGNESS. has nothing to do with the definitions above from the standpoint of TRUTH. Good luck. If you want help then you may message me and I can try to put you in contact with someone that can help you truly and authentically and of course wont charge like alot of others and if they do it wont be much. Improper practice causes Kundalini problems and when i say that i mean its not the kundalini, its the person doing it. How can the Kundalini Sakti or Adyasakti which is the Primordial Female Energy, seat of maximum vibrations by which the universal law of generation and creation is maintained be the problem???? i mean really???? TOO MUCH FALSE INFO. People are not ready for social sites due to truth and misinformation. If interested seek out your path, sift thru the bs and eventually in this life time or the next perhaps you will find what you have always wanted......
  4. Talisman for intent and karma cleanse

Proper Pranayama and Sadhana to burn Karma is the real only way. I have had the Taoist Priests from Wu Dang Shan do their thing back in 06. Still have the pretty little paper for myself and the one that was burned. Was useless and these WERE actual priest and they performed all sorts of things during the long process. Could they do it, maybe, but the ones that have that power im sure are up in the caves someplace. Its for tourist now IMO and has been. Though these days throughout the west im sure you can find some wannabe that can convince ya they can do it.
  5. Shaktipat

well ya know i havent been back in a while so i figured i would come in and pick up where i left off. LOL actually i thought it was kinda funny! you know my point, i know yours. the one good thing about this site for the MOST PART (caps here LOL) is that everyone doesnt come in and make some eloquent and elaborate posts about nothing pertaining to the topic and then quote the work of others or worse yet, scriptures to cover up their lack of understanding. at some of the other forums around it seems like a prerequisite. HA but i did say for the MOST PART (caps again!) in a new age world that is shifting consciousness it is good to have people out there doing the new age thing. i used to be that way too. doing the reiki, pranic healing, body talk, matrix energetics, and alot of other things. could have easily said what i did Shaktipat.its good to a certain point because it is the same underlying universal energy that encompasses everything that we are dealing with. However, it is ONLY (caps again) good to a certain point and doubtful that it will help one with certain spiritual goals. will you feel better around a person that does this sort of thing, sure, the energy and vibration alot of times are blissful, you may feel peaceful and have alot of wonderful experiences but in REALITY (caps) it is superficial in technique and understanding at best. eventually people will move on from it and look for that which is deeper and try to gain a more thorough and truthful understanding of their nature. but it seems to me, although i did alot of it and it did help in SUPERFICIAL ways, that it was more of a waste of time and money. but good luck with that. as long as you are having fun i guess.....
  6. Shaktipat

YEP posting in a thread called Shaktipat when there has been hardly any truth posted on it. It keeps changing subjects so why not "enlightenment" LOL The reason why there has been little on it but you both have posted alot is because neither of you actually do Shaktipat as I have mentioned several times. LOL You would think someone would kill this thread as if a newby came in looking for an answer about what it is there are only a couple right ones on it and it isnt in your answers. Matter of fact they probably cant decipher anything out of the posts including my own due to all the BS that followed it. yeah lets not mention Gurus either and what Shaktipat really is so they will take OUR word for it. LOL 99% of the crap posted is wrong and much of the experiences are HALLUCINATIONS of the kinetic mind, why??? because the mind isnt truly stilled so no real information can come out, only the hallucinatory and imaginary are coming forward from CERTAIN PEOPLES posts.. unless someone is quoting the Buddhist texts with eloquent and elaborate posts to cover up the lack of true understanding of the nature of things, but then that would belong in a Buddhist thread yes???????? Not Shaktipat but if i look back hard enough i am sure i can find it back there somewhere!!!!!!1 good luck and good night.
  7. awww shucks i thought i had it right. seems right does it not. LOL
  8. Kali yuga is over

I think that Sri Yukteswar is right and it did end. Period. LOL
  9. Listen to fizix. That is a bunch of CRAPOLA. LOL
  10. A question for Vaj the Buddhist

the classical text Samkhya Karika isnt before the Buddha, but research has led EVERYONE studying it to believe that the philosophy was existent anywhere from centuries to a millenium before the Buddha. And that He studied it. Therefore Drew isnt entirely incorrect.

I appreciate the input but frankly i wasnt trying to say what the Buddha taught. Honestly speaking i would rather practice what i do, or some of the others, and reach an extremely high state after death (maybe not what you call being a Buddha) than have to practice strict Buddhism and right view and everything else only to end up in the same place as i would anyway becuase i wasnt a perfect Buddhist, which very few are. No offense. But many of the others have results and are realizable in THIS lifetime. Very few attain what you call being a Buddha, therefore after all their hard work they will end up either where i will be (or others) or lower and i didnt have to practice Buddhism to get there. and i am aware of what your saying. the problem is we need to get back on with shaktipat. LOL
  13. Shaktipat

"Why does there need to be one or the other? i.e., every thing is God OR nothing actually exists on its own" I personally dont believe there has to be. LOL I honestly believe without a shadow of a doubt, completely 100%, and believe isnt even a strong enough word here, i would prefer to say i know, that if you practice the HIGHER esoteric teachings/techniques of the Jains, Buddhist, Taoist, "Indian Yogis", Sufis etc that we talk about and you do that at the moment of death consciously that you will NOT have to be reborn or if you are, not on this lowly planet, but in the astral realm perhaps. If you know some of the real higher techniques and practiced them for years then perhaps you escape the astral realm and proceed directly to the causal sphere AND THEN, if you are a true YOGI, BUDDHA, or the like, and you practiced the most advanced systems for years and years you proceed directly to mergance. The simplest method i can think of is chanting OM (internally or externally) when bringing the prana up to the third eye(kustastha) at the moment you take your last breath. Now granted that means no accidents, no drugs if you have cancer, no anything other than just simply dying and being conscious of it. i dont even know the higher esoteric techniques of SOME of the ones i mentioned but i am sure since there are sooooo many similarities between them that you would be safe choosing any. well except the semen, urine, menstral blood meal or chunks or whatever it was thing. i am out on that. i also aint talking about simply doing the orbit or anything of that nature, i mean the real higher techniques that generally arent even found over here LOL some should be happy that they just dont have to come back here. LOL their stay in the astral world will take eons and will be much better then here, the subtler causal sphere would be a tremendous achievement, any of those is better than the gross physicality that we dwell on.

EXACTLY. OLD SCHOOL.thats what i am talking about. which seems to be in direct contrast with what some believe. This is what the old school Yogi's teach and seems they have done very well with it. I only have met 5-6 people including my Guru that can breath completely thru the Sushumna. They are all His disciples. Now there are others, of that i have no doubt, but this is a first hand account. When its done properly there are sounds that can be heard. one is a flute like sound (which in our view is why Krishna had a flute, flute had 6 holes for 6 of the charkras, i cant remember the rest of the story but can find it) as i said i have witnessed it first hand and this is done thru a special technique including having khechari in place. (in our view using the hands to block the nostrils is inferior to doing it internally with the tongue, this is what blocks the ida and pingala) once this is done and the ida and pingala are united the flow merges into the sushumna. it also has to do with where you are breathing "in" and "out" from. but i cant go into that. also there other important things to remember about the sushumna and what it contains. (Vajrakhya and in it the Chitrini, the Chitrini is also known as the Brahma nadi (nari) i cannot breath exclusively thru that channel yet. it isnt an everyday thing that someone can just do it. LOL regardless of what some may say. i havent met anyone that braggs about it either, so even if i could i dont know if i would even mention it. LOL what i do know is that it is NOT the same thing as not breathing, or breath retention, or even forgetting to breath for a little while. completely different and experience is quite different as well. there are distinct sounds other than the flute depending on what level you are at. sometimes its like a conch shell etc. if done over a period of time with the breathing stopped and fully in the sushumna there can be no sounds, once the static state occurs it is considered kevala-kumbhaka. but all this takes time to master for instance 12 excellent (internal) pranayamas cause withdrawal from the senses, 144 of the same result in soul oriented visualisation. 1728 of them results in dhyana and 20376 in samadhi. from our accounts of previous masters these are factual numbers based on what WE practice, others maybe different. the beautiful thing is that these things all happen and unfold naturally, there is no striving for them. the more you practice the more things unfold the way they are supposed to. if you read that book i told you about it has the answers based on the realizations of those that have done what you mentioned and beyond!!!!

    well said
  16. Shaktipat

i have heard of such. saw it at the matrix energetics seminars. laughed my a** off. looked like a bunch of idiots. wasnt shaktipat there though which makes me wonder about when people experience that sort of thing in a "shaktipat" seminar format. i think in a HUGE amount of cases its all mental. dont want to use the term Hypnosis but it certainly is possible. i do believe it is different for everyone based on their existent Karma and previous training and so therefore maybe it does happen. But is it truly shaktipat causing it??? or is it being in the moment. LOL Now granted after my own initiation things started to move but only when i practiced and i sure didnt bark or get up and run around etc. LOL now very rarely will things twitch or move and that is only in the beginning of practice, once things are settled i dont even know "i'm" here. so who would be the one barking or running around or whatever? for us its just used to awaken the kundalini and prepare the chakras and channels SO YOU CAN PRACTICE without which all your really doing is a bunch of techniques. LOL so in some systems it is very central to spiritual work or development as nothing would happen without it.
  17. Shaktipat

actually i like the last two. LOL the others two have too much trash in their history. however, even with that said Osho was so far off the mark with A LOT that i wouldnt listen to what he said anyway. for new age folks he made sense in SOME ways. but i dont think he had a clue about shaktipat, he was one that ended up giving the real Gurus a bad name or i should say thought of in the same light i guess. He was a JOKE. Swami Rama. Loved his books. Real deal in alot of ways. Fell from Grace as many do.(too much sex with devotees, DOCUMENTED) But what you wrote from Living with the Himalayan Masters (i think) is right in alot of ways. the only thing i disagree with even though i am a traditionalist LOLOLOL is you dont have to practice austerities a long time to receive it. will it help, Hell yes. LOL but i believe that if you are sincere and want to make an effort then you should be allowed to receive it. i mean my Guru wouldnt have allowed me if He followed what Swamiji said because i practiced a lot of stuff but i wasnt doing anything compared to what Swamiji did and his definition of austere, discipline and spiritual practices. same thing from Muktanandas camp, the book Kundalini-The Secret of Life is a good book and has alot of truth in it. Dude had power from previous practice and his Master, Nityananda (not the dumbas* fake who was recently arrested in India, similar spelling) in todays terms would be considered the MACK DADDY but two dozen ashrams, limos and a jet among a BUNCH of other stuff aint good when you are a swami. LOL The book is right on though about Shaktipat in most everything and is right on in their tradition obviously. i think it needs to be done the old ways as i said before because its a big deal in traditional lines. maybe husband and wife get it at the same time and then others one at a time with a group of 20 or less. but a mass shaktipat of hundreds or more. UH HUH sure. maybe in todays modern new age world but not in the old school ways. but then again it depends on what type of shaktipat you are doing, if you are using it as a term for straight up initiation and kundalini awakening then its what i wrote above, if you are doing it for other reasons then maybe not. but then are you REALLY doing it???????? this is the question. i would love to have it done by others just to feel the difference between my Gurus touch (and his foremost disciples) and those that claim to do it. Only problem is in my mind that shows a complete lack of commitment to my own Guru and well i just wont do it. i dont care who the hell it was that wanted to do it on me. LOL even for free. i know what i have so its good to be back on topic eh?
  18. A question for Vaj the Buddhist

sometimes i find that there are similarities to other paths. for instance in my own which is considered scientific by those that practice it and not philosophical simply because they have taken scriptures and interpreted them from a spiritual standpoint based on the results of our practices. so its considered factual and they know that if this is done and that is done then this is the result. having to delve a little into the sattva, rajas and tamas here and into the virtuous and superficial essentials i will try to lay out how we look at it from a practical standpoint. the five superficial essentials are liquor, meat, fish, wealth and coitus. those that possess the rajas or tamas attributes and practice our sadhana will not have soul-realisation. but if they practice the virtuous essentials the result is quite different. the rajas and tamas mode of practicing sadhana with the help of the superficial rites are taken literally. however with the sattva mode of sadhana the "liquor" is the "ambrosia" or "nectar" that flows from the Sahasrara, this is "drank" with the help of consuming "meat" which leads me to the next one. "Meat" is the tongue. with the Guru's instruction the tongue is entered into the palate cavity (Khechari Mudra). This is known as the sadhaka that consumes or eats meat, this causes speech to be stopped and if Pranakarma is executed all desires are controlled or stopped completely. "Fish" or pair of fish in our tradition come from the Ganges(Ida) and Yamuna(Pingala)and swims in them. the actually breathing motion thru each nostril is considered the "fish". when a yogi can still the prana thru pranakarma and "eats" or "devours" the "fish" he is a fish eating sadhaka. meaning his breath is now in the sushumna. "wealth" for instance is the yogi who as per the Gurus instructions has directly realized the Supreme Being thru AtmaKarma (Pranakarma, Kriyayoga etc etc) is the sadhaka who worships spiritual wealth. "coitus" this is too much to properly explain with my limited understanding. LOL but it aint easy to achieve. basically it has to do with stilling the air in the head, practicing 1728 (INTERNAL) pranayamas (one sitting of course), big difference between this and external pranayamas, reaching the Kevala-Kumbhaka state and by placing the tongue upwards to taste the ambrosia(in this case it is akin to semen). This produces a blissful state or absolute bliss but of course inst the end all. LOL whew i am tired just writing that. LOl of course there are many minute details that i dont know yet. anyway i thought i would share how we view it from a practical standpoint which differs from a literal translation. not saying they are even the exact same but interpretations and my point is only to show similarities and difference in many of the paths. the literal stuff comes from the Kularnab tantra and others come from the Agamsar but with our take from a meditational standpoint. peace
  19. Shaktipat

yeah i am a father so its in my instincts. LOL as for the patronizing goes, yes i am a patron of this site. LOL i dont mean to come across that way even if i do sometimes. i know how it sounds from what i write on occassion. i read it too. LOL but it shouldnt be looked at as such just because i dont have the patience or time to thoroughly go thru and make eloquent posts. i tend to get to the point and sometimes my post get jumbled up because of that or i dont go in and correct the first thought that comes to mind. i liked howdy doody and i wasnt specifically referring to you dear. before my time too. LOL i was referring to some that havent been on here any length of time or just jumped on the thread and decided to make some smart ass comments or nonsensical comments. LOL now i am gonna lay it on the line for ya so there is no misunderstanding. i can tell from your posts that your an extremely intelligent and caring individual as is Vaj. i can also tell that you have something and people like it (him too). its not just charisma. that you are doing a good thing in a lot of ways from different perspectives. the world and people in it need it. i am a traditionalist regardless of its downfalls. i believe what i believe and what i have found from my own inner searchings, which i might add we do not elaborate on since its ours and the journey isnt complete so coming out and saying many of our personal experiences we just dont do as we dont know everything there is to know....yet. so sometimes it can come across as i wont answer a specific question or continue a debate because my realizations are for me until i am at the level where it is entirely truth and then some things still cant be shared. LOL some can. sometimes i dont share because i dont know. LOL i have been around long enough and practiced different things long enough to know that somethings are a waste of time and somethings actually help on your path. I shared my thoughts on Shaktipat and i dont recall ever saying that what KAP does for people is BS or that it cant help them in some ways. its not just KAP itself necessarily its the people that are behind it that help the person. this is what you all do. you are helping people and i commend you for it. my only point coming from the direction i do has been discussed already so i wont go back there. i am only trying to make a point. as for your conversations they arent detrimental at all, in fact i like reading them. do i agree with them always...well no..but that doesnt mean i think everything you say is complete horse crap. LOL come one. ANYONE can tell you and Vaj know some stuff. sometimes when i post and it may seem directed at you in your mind, in mine i am thinking of someone completely different, not on this board at all that i have came across but i dont like to mention names that often. some i have thought of have been recently spoke about here. i just dont care to name names all the time. sometimes i say its a joke for people to charge what they do, this isnt directed at you personally either. i ask quesitons like why charge that much. why call it that etc. i understand the universe doesnt care if someone gets paid but my God some charges hundreds and i think that is a bit much but its only my opinion. thats all. so as you can see i am not always thinking about what i can say to ruffle your feathers or just disagreeing with you just to do so. i stated my thoughts before. there is no need to continue down that line right now. now hopefully this will ease the tension that leaps out of the computer screen and we can go on with our little discussions. i can say, whether what you do is REAL or not, what you are doing helps people so that should be looked at as a positive thing and i can honor that.
  20. Shaktipat

ok we really arent going anywhere here. I understand what you are saying entirely. and its great and has some truths. I didnt want to get into a literal comparision. You are stil using Hindu as a term, the definition of Brahma i posted is still not understood among other things. I can not literally put it in words to help you understand my point. The only thing that My Guru said about what Buddha taught, was that what always existed before him, which is Sanatana Dharma, is what he was teaching, in the meaning that i stated, not HINDUISM or what pertains to misunderstandings of it. its a variation. your explanations are great from a Buddhist standpoint and i enjoy reading it. however it seems that your understanding of what we practice is as limited as my understanding of what you practiced. i am not talking philosophical discussions of Buddhism and "Hinduism" here. I am speaking of practical techniques and where they lead. so therefore its useless to continue on this back and forth philosophical journey we are on. LOL we could debate from here til eternity and all that is going to do is delay our own progress since we will spend so much time on here instead of practicing. LOL we can agree to disagree and of course i have no ill will towards you or your ideas as far as this is concerned. i appreciate your view point very much and the time you took to respond to mine. your viewpoint has truth in it and thats hard to find on this forum. LOL there are many differences and misunderstanding on both sides so i guess we both are idiots in many ways. LOL what i dont appreciate (and this didnt come from you Vaj) is remarks from the peanut gallery. a good healthy discussion is a must because whether you are right, i am right, doesnt matter, people will read and come to their own conclusions and perhaps seach things out for themselves. this is a good thing. so thanks again for the tidbits. peace brother. my parrot eats peanuts BTW......

  22. Shaktipat

You are misunderstanding what is meant by Sanatana Dharma. We are not just talking about what the "hindus" call themselves as their religion. you can also say that IT IS the oldest way in exisitance regardless. what i think is important is that you seem to be taking what i said literally when using the terms i did. It cant be taken this way and understood with the superficial knowledge that you are speaking of. Sure NON REALIZED Buddhist will say what you say. The Dalai Lama on the other hand kept asking questions. You get me? Asking questions on all sorts of subjects. Do you realize that Sanatana Dharma can mean Karmayoga, Kriyayoga, AtmaKarma, Atmayoga, Rajayoga? That it literally means the ETERNAL religion or ETERNAL will or ETERNAL way. Some of these terms mean merging with the soul , which is Brahma and that the realized soul can be considered the Void/Buddha etc itself. Im not trying to get into some dogmatic debate. LOL i am talking about soul religion here! this should be universal since we all have souls. you have to go deeper to understand what i am saying, not cause i am realized but because it doesnt fit in the dogmatic view that you are taking. Lecturing on what is available in Buddhist texts etc accomplishes nothing. You are taking philosophical knowledge and what has been written in books and using that to try to understand something that can only be understood by self realization.WHICH IS WHY I DIDNT SAY IT, MY GURU DID. And to whom, to the Dalai Lama Himself. LOL after this fact my Guru was invited to speak even more and other than the Dalai Lama was the only one to have His lectures and discourses translated for the masses there. and yeah the Buddha did say that it had died out, it happens at the cycles of certain Yugas from time to time, but its NOT REALLY extinct as it is revived by those such as Krishna, Buddha,Lahiree Mahasaya and many many others, all with slgiht twists and what works for the AGE THEY ARE IN. I actually feel what Buddha taught is very similar to Sanatana Dharma (the true one) not the one that is termed Hinduism now. I felt that way before i even chose the path i am on. i feel that most of the esoteric ideas of religions will lead to similar places. yeah the Buddha taught something different than the Vedas. Am i saying that the VEDAS are all 100% Correct, NO, just like the Buddhist Texts are not all 100% Correct. AGAIN its the translations of the material from a superficial standpoint that is incorrect. If one is realized, and translates them based on what that person practiced that allowed them to understand fully, then this is the real truth behind the scriptures and what has been written, what the real meaning is. For instance, the Spiritual Gita is a translation of the Bhagavad Gita in the light of Kriyayoga and how it pertains to that practice and what the results are. This is what i am speaking of. This is real knowledge. Not some philosohpical discussion written by someone lacking. i am not saying all Buddhist texts are that way i am saying that if you look at the ones that were written by someone known to be fully realized then both of these books will be very similar. why because the underlying truth in both are there. this is my main point. as for your take on Nirvikalpa, it is completely wrong. Nirvikalpa is above Nirvana, but it is also a minimum requirement for some things i wont go into on here. so there is much more in all actuality. its the end of sadhana as the person practicing knows it. in Nirvana there is still dynamic vibrations although small, you can still escape the cycles of death and rebirth but it is NOT 100% complete stillness. thats all i will say about that. now for a definition of Brahma which may help you comprehend a little better. Brahma-the ultimate truth underlying and transcending universality, the ubiquitous reality within creation and beyond creation; void within the void;eternal statice;the unfathomable boundless profundity, this transcendent predicate is Parambrahma Brahma is premanently unchangeable, it is devoid of decrease or augmentation, is ever-solemn, ever pure, always uniform; Brahma is THE STATE where there are no impediments, distant-near relationships, origination, Mergence, yet everything exists because of Brahma-existance;nothing can be present sans Brahma, existence of the whole creation depends upon Brahma-existence; Brahma is perpetually crystalline; is beyond being affected by birth-death; Brahma is where there is absence of sound, light, darkness, knowledge, ignorance, devotee, GOD, Duality; in other words where there is nothingness yet allness; where none remains to express this nothingness, such as a perpetual static state Brahma, the Primordial Cause, source or origin. Brahma is Non-Dual, Univocal. This is what is meant by Brahma. a tv producer there said something similiar about my Guru's view that atmakarma was the only truth. the producer said this is you ego. my Guru smilingly said. God is one, the world is one, man is one, hence religion also is one. This one religion is the ultimate truth but the intellect required to comprehend it is absent amongst you. You yourselves are steeped in ego, so you are observing ego in my statements also. that pretty much says it all. i could go on and on. but am tired yet again. LOL i know you just wont get it and its ok. it really is. some might, some wont, at this point i could really care less but at least the topic isnt on the body parts listed before.
  23. Shaktipat

well someone mailed me and said i should go back and check out the thread i had left. I have. seriously downhill. perhaps it was my difference of opinion and my traditional mindset that might have initiated it. LOL but then again, who am I, so its doubtful.....either way a little about my mindset first..... I didnt always think like that. well in the 25+ yrs of martial arts i did as thats how i was raised in it. and also would have loved to find a traditional taoist hermit in some cave teaching me some real stuff. but how often does that happen. LOL Hell i had to go to India to find the real thing, slim chance there too believe me. but the reason i believe what i do is because i have been around the block, been to the "others" and came out with little or nothing. am i saying that EVERYTHING out there available here in the US is a waste of time. NO!!!!! It really depends on what your goal is. Sure we can say we want to love our fellow humans, we want to project qi, we want to hug some trees ( i love trees by the way ) we want to still the mind, we want Shaktipat etc etc etc and there are some out there that can give you that. What if you want more. You want what the Taoist, Buddhist, Hindu (Hindu isnt proper here, its a geographical and political term but i am using for lack of better word) talk about in their scriptures. Well slim chance here in my opinion. If you want some new age interpretation mixed in with some of this and that then great, if you want the real thing then what are the chances??? Just sayin...hard to find and that has been my point thruout. There has been talk about the Guru thing, been talk about the differences of Buddhism and Vedas or whatever it was that Buddhism goes deeper or the Vedas were wrong i cant remember so pardon me if i got that wrong, i just dont remember since there were so many distracting posts. anyway here it goes......from an East Indian spiritual standpoint the Guru is EXTREMELY important, its because of all the fakes or even ones like Muktananda that had some power but fell from grace (plenty of dirt available on him and the current leadership) that causes the problems. that and lack of understanding and knowledge. Guru has a certain CULT theme when we here discuss it. it is only due to ignorance as a real Guru is quite different, matter of fact in the Scriptures it also speaks of the Guru being inside YOU. So by not honoring that fact, some would say you are not honoring yourself. Just a point to be taken. Now as far as Buddhism/VEDA thing. Where did the Buddha come from??? Think about it. Well He certainly didnt like the scriptures as they were expounded on by the Pundits. Meditated and realized the errors. NOT in the scriptures themselves but in the TRANSLATIONS of those that were supposed to be knowledgable that had NO internal/divine knowledge acquired thru austerities (ie meditation). so after a while Buddhism is refined based on the knowledge of those that gained self realization follwing the path of Buddha. GREAT, this is what you are supposed to do. so in a way Buddha is the GURU. so how can the GURU/Disciple relationship NOT be for everyone when this is the case especially for Buddhist in this example, but since the GURU is actually in each of us as well then that means it has to be for everyone....EVENTUALLY The scriptures read like most others, full of metaphors, parables and all kinds of things and that leads to misinterpretations unless one is SELF REALIZED. Those that continually quote the scriptures or refer to them do not have direct realization for the most part themselves. so its futile to even go back and forth. LOL sometimes quoting may make people think and thats a good thing. but trying to expound on them without being REALIZED is embarrassing. its better to expound from direct knowledge that is true, not hallucinatory in nature or derived from the dynamic mind (dynamic means not truly stilled here) Now if you really want to know what a difference between the two are and similarites from a PRACTICAL (meaning actual practice) standpoint then i will give you the words of my Guru. This took place at The World Parliment of Religions convened by the DALAI LAMA, my Guru was the only one to speak from India. Dalai Lama- Nirvana is the exalted state of Buddhism. You are an Indian Yogi, therefore expatiate briefly on it. Guruji- Nirvana essentially is a term in Sanatana Dharma. Gautama Buddha himself, his parents and his ancestors all belonged to Sanatana Dharma. Whatever Buddha has expounded is all gleaned from Sanatana Dharma. Hence the term Nirvana is not exclusively Buddhist, its origin is in Sanatana Dharma. In the Sanatana Dharma scriptures which were composed a few thousand years before the advent of Buddha, the word Nirvana finds mention. Nirvana is a state of a Yogi. Vana denotes arrow or else breath. Practising diligent yogasadhana when the breathing motion is ceased, this state of cessation is Nirvana. But it should be remembered that this is not the final state of a Yogi. Although at present it is the last stage of Buddhism. After attaining Nirvana, Prana-Vibration does exist a little in the yogi. He cannot attain complete stillness even then. Later when the Yogi augmenting austere sadhana arrives at static Brahma (this is true zero vibration), his sadhana ends there. This state is termed as Nirvikalpa Samadhi or Kriya's Transcendental state. This Nirvikalpa Samadhi is much more elevated than the state of Nirvana. The discourse went on as to how Buddha followed Sanatana Dharma and that nothing new came from Him. It existed before Him, existed after Him and will always exist etc. what i like about it is that its not really much of a philosophical discussion, its actual practical knowledge gleaned from 50 plus years of austere meditation that Guruji practices and the Dalai Lama knew that which is why He asked Him to speak on this subject among others such as Mahavira Jain. So when someone from the West or other places for that matter speaks of obtaining certain things in meditation using the terms above you have to wonder. did they really. cause my gut says NOPE. LOL too many do say it, have said it and will continue to say it but in reality they are dabblers. oh and then they meet Babaji or whatever else. its a joke, think about it. do the TRUE enlightened ones speak that way?????????? As far as Shaktipat goes we have about Shaktipatted it to death. LOL there will be differences of opinion. always. can one say that they went to a supposed Guru and got touched on the head and received Shaktipat. Sure. Is it necessarily life changing or a REAL direct transmission. Not really. Shaktipat in my opinion is for an opening and awakening mainly. it serious. its a big fricken deal. in most circles its not something you get over and over and over and over again as i have read here. once is enough with real shaktipat from a real Guru. Granted the more you progress and if you reach certain stages the Guru may give you more, once. LOL maybe two more times in your life as thats all you need. you dont need it 10 times a year as someone mentioned or daily every workout session at a marital arts studio or wherever. this is what we do here in america and other places thruout the west. its because the term can be used to mean different things and also because we rob the culture of the term and use it for whatever we want to. going to a Guru and paying obseiance and getting touched on the head or wherever isnt a direct transmission its a blessing, do they talk and eat and do other things then?? Surely. if it were a real initiation using shaktipat then it is much more than that, if its actually meant to do something physically/spiritually for the individual then its much more than that. matter of fact its just much more than that. LOL there have been people from long ago that just touched a Gurus feet or were blessed by their site and had all kinds of things happen, blissful feelings, physical problems cured etc. can this happen. sure. is it a direct transmission of energy to cuase the awakening of kundalini or samadhi or opening the chakras. uh dont think so. different. anyway. this isnt meant towards anyone in particular as i didnt mention names. so dont get all ruffled up. i did mention some posts but again its not directed at you personally. i figured i would clarify. its meant regardless of how it may sound to throw in some truth and some of my idiotic opinions that are too traditional for some. LOL to each their own. For Ninja-didnt want to waste space with another long post so i will add here. gut equals opened awareness, intuition whatever. playful terminology. reminding you again i am not speaking directly about anyone. when i say HERE it means here as in almost everywhere, specifically the west.not just this thread or forum for that matter. there are some here that are good guiders. they will guide and help people and eventually some of those people will find what they seek and need later, so you can thank them for getting those people started. as for the rest of the statements all i can say is believe what you will.

One last post before I go. Again nice post from a certain standpoint. If you had asked this way without coming across as smart...then i would have answered what i could accordingly. We do not get tied up with these things that have to with our senses so you know. sounds great and all but this is not our idea of enlightenment. we strive to seek the soul sun/moon and penetrate the tiny dot that resides therein. the soul sun/moon is the atma, the tiny dot leads to Brahma. you cannot be self realized until you realize the soul and also see it. this is what is seen in Kutastha. a reflection of the ajna chakra, it acts like a mirror. we strive to let go of the five senses especially during our meditations. so to be caught up with them outside of the meditations is futile as we try to remain focused inward, towards our soul which is a part of God. Granted not everyone accomplishes this but we try. Seva from our view point means the same as it does in most circles, but mainly for us it means "work offered to GOD". Our acts or Kriya practiced with love and devotion are our seva. this seva is truly the highest seva. what brings me joy and happiness is what is called the after affect poise of Kriya. the state that i am in after sitting. in the beginning it takes an hour to complete our meditations in the am and a little more in the pm. i felt sheer joy and happiness and love then and as my times and Kriyas have increased it gets more profound. I cannot break my vows and discuss some things as they are for me and my Guru or on occassion close brother/sister disciples. i feel safe and alive because i know that i finally found the real thing, and have a real spiritual master that guides all my activities and my accomplishments though they are not mine, they are only because of His grace. i cannot begin to even put in words the difference between what i have experienced in the past from all those teachers and meditations and what happens when you find someone that has actually attained the highest levels of spiritual knowledge. i am alive, truly alive, i am safe and under the protection of my Guru on more planes than this one. what i have gained comes from my practice and as the higher levels make themselves known to me i feel at peace. there is no desire for more, there is no thought of trying to reach the levels of the sages, this would only be a hinderance, i sit to sit with no expectations. i do not see many of the things that you see. what i see in my darshan is for me and me alone, it is our personal journey, some talk of soul/sun-moon, Brahma, Krishna, the universe, blue pearl etc. these things are what should be seen by practice, they are quite different than what one imagines them to look like just by thinking of them. they just show up and you are not "seeing" them with your eyes, you are seeing them with the reflective mirror that is Kutashta. do i feel love at my brother and sisters on this planet or see and feel the Divine Self staring back at me. Uh let me think....how about some truth instead of the lies that people say. sounds nice though, its a NAMASTE thing that new age people like to use alot. LOL i feel sorrow sometimes, sometimes i feel love. i know inherently that the Divine is within in them, this is why i can tolerate them and the bad acts that some do. i feel pity at times as well. not because its an ego thing, my thought doesnt come like that. its just that i know and can feel the helplessness that most radiate and sometimes ignorance. i feel compassion for those more than anything, sometimes i feel anger at the illusion of Maya that envelopes them and wish they to could find A TRUE PATH. Mostly they are ignorant and dont search. Those that do i feel a bond to, hence my reason of being on this site at least for this last post. Many think or state the things that you do, the new age group mainly. it is a nice way of viewing the world but naive in my opinion. I share my happiness with others of course. doesnt everyone to some extent. LOL do flashes of lightening make me quiver. LOL thats funny. actually no i cant stand lightening for the most part, the reason is i live in a place where we have daily thunderstorms in the summer. i cant practice if there is thunder or lightening as it is not advisable when generating the amount of spiritual energy we do so we are told not to. therefore i dont like it when it interferes with my sitting times. birds song is beautiful, more so after i practice than before, as the notes are much much clearer, when practicing i hear, well i cant say what i hear, but i surely dont hear the birds singing. LOL i am closer with my family and realize the short amount of time we have together, none understand my path and it is ok, i feel more love for them and others than i did before yes. but there is more to kundalini awakening than that. other things also get fine tuned and one is able to notice alot more in all ways. this is the reason i feel pity and sorrow at times. this is also the reason i want to set the record straight with those that mightnot know and are being misled I would love to ask you why you have the visions you do, but for us these visions are generally hallucinations. Darshans are quite different however. I wont be around after this post so i wont ask. I felt i did not owe you anything as i stated in my last post. I still feel that way. But i decided to post something for others to read and for you to satisfy your curiosity somewhat. There are many paths that lead where we need to go but i STRONGLY feel that what most people offer here in this country is crap. And when people take an ancient science and say hey i can do it better and faster i have a problem with it. like i said, sometimes it can happen regarding certain things, but in other cases it needs to be left alone. kundalini awakening is just the beginning, doing the smile or the orbit and all that other stuff will not lead you to your final destination. some do it for health, peace of mind, relaxation etc. when a person has a path that will lead them to what should be the ultimate goal then they should practice it with zeal. the problem is that these new ones that have cropped up are BS and wont lead you there. this isnt the focus of many and thats ok. eventually in this lifetime or another it will be. but they have started the path whether they know it or not, i say what i do to try to get them to search out the truth. maybe you have good qi. you learned medical qigong so its obvious that you can more than likely transmit it, but its not the same as Shaktipat. i know because i can do the same damn thing and i have had real Shaktipat. so i understand both. i use qi transmission everyday in my acupuncture practice, i have also studied medical qigong, i have received all three reiki attunments, and went thru levels one and two of matrix energetics. so i know how to do the exact same thing too and i am telling you its NOT SHAKTIPAT. plain and simple. And why on Gods earth are you charging so much for what you do? 300 on Skype with just you and 500 or whatever for you and Santiago. This is exactly what i am talking about. im out. good luck.

I have no need to defend Him. I have been trying to make a point, obviously you have missed it. This is mainly because you are doing exactly what i am against. LOL I am trying to speak the truth however. Not pull the wool over anyone or act like i am some Guru. The lineage I mention to show how it is supposed to be done and has been done since the beginning in India. My Gurus thoughts and quotes are truth as well. When you meet someone like Him and others that are real then you will understand the importance of what i am talking about. Making techniques up and passing them off as whatever isnt right. The traditions have been hijacked and shortcutted or stole. They take what has taken millenia to build and perfect and say hey i can do it better, well in some cases that maybe right, but can we build a pyramid the way the egyptians did today with all our technology, can we build temples that are as astrologically precise, NO. Sometimes things need to be left alone and then practiced PROPERLY. Your post are eloquent for the most part. Do i agree with you about everything, NO Did I call you out PERSONALLY. NO My life has changed in a great many ways. I could go on as to what i have seen, how many hrs i sit twice a day, piercing of knots and achieving Khechari, without which no higher stages can be achieved if you are using Kula-kundalini. How everything is made better by grace of the Guru, living and eternal and on and on, but guess what, that makes me sound like others on this site. Me big man/woman, me got strong shaktipat. LOL I have searched for 20 plus years, did seminars, went to alot of those that used to be and still are popular. Wasted a lot of time and money too. This is my point i am trying to get across, everything isnt as it seems in these things and many are just posers. People can make their own decision as to what to believe, I want them to have facts on how things used to be, should be and in some cases still are. They will do what they will and think what they think. I personally owe you no explanation although i have given a little. My post said what we practice and what we see is private, we do not discuss exact techniques as per the tradition, even if you were initiated in the same type of spiritual practice, unless under the same Guru. I am not going to sit here and say my life is this or that, this is how i am a good chela and you should believe me, come on, get a grip. LOL Really??? i also dont say hey i can give you Shaktipat for free or what is it that you charge, 300 bucks on Skype. LOL I do not care to be a Guru, and am not worthy as my tolerance is less than most. Doesnt mean I am not a good person. It also doesnt mean I dont want to help people. I do in my profession everyday. I give my advice and my opinion and mostly its by the book and the old ways. Sri Yukteswar was stern and did things by the book and look at HIM LOL. I see nothing wrong with it especially if you are concerned with your spiritual growth and your own souls advancement. There is no real short cut to this, not giving Kundalini better, faster, and stronger etc. I find it is a complete joke. Truly i do. the path is what it is and it takes awhile to get there. the only ACTUAL short cut is being aware and doing something about it in the lifetime you are in. this is why its important to find the actual truth in your practice and techniques otherwise you are wasting valuable time. I wasted mine for years so pardon me if i am trying to set the record straight about what is what so others dont do the same. My brother disciple asked me the other day why i bother to be on this site, i told him that those in the west need it, probably more so than any other place and if i can help them find truth instead of the BS that is out there then maybe i have done something. He said you will doing this for the rest of your life and the one thing you still cant overcome is ignorance. DO YOU GET MY POINT???? This is obvious by the post i am replying to. What I am trying to do is make people think, to tell them to be careful, dont listen to just any joe blow. myself included, search out the truth, dont waste alot of time and money on BS. they have a better chance reading and understanding what i have written and doing their own search for truth than getting truth from Shaktipat on Skype i think. I have little time for this and feel that although you write eloquently (except the gurus are supposed to be cool thing??) there is much being missed. You should also not call yourself Shaktimama, out of respect for what it is. You are the one by the way that actually said you have reached Nirvikalpa Samadhi before several times, but since that IS NOT something that happens from KAP, or medical qigong or from going to Divinity school leaves me to wonder. ANYONE that has reached that stage surely can see what it is that i am talking about. Very few that are known have written about it after attainment and once attained its not something that comes and goes. You have to do work to get to that stage, there are techniques, karma, Guru etc involved to help a person get to that stage. I have NEVER EVER met anyone who actually claimed to have reached that stage, even my own Guru doesnt say He has although everyone knows He has. I cannot fathom why you said it, perhaps thats what made me take a closer look at your posts. You should teach everyone here for sure since you have attained one of the highest stages of Samadhi and bypassed the 20736 pranayamas with visualization that it takes to reach that stage in one sitting......... I see no need to further this conversation and am done with this thread, I have thought of leaving this site, especially since i need to sit longer each day and now is a good time to leave the forum completley as i am not getting anywhere. You take care and i do hope you realize what it is i am talking about...........
